Eating disorders among pupils of upper primary school

This thesis deals with the eating disorders, focusing on two basic and currently the most important diseases - anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. The theoretical part summarizes findings about the eating disorders. I give basic information about anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa, I devote the attention to their causes , symptoms and consequences. I also write about a prevention of the eating disorders in primary school. Based on the theoretical background, a questionnaire survey was conducted among elementary schools, which aim was to determine the level of knowledge of these issues, satisfaction with one's body and appearance and their relationship to the diet trends.
Effect promotion of alcoholic beverages to teenagers the possibility of prevention

The presented thesis deals with the topic Influence of promotion of alcoholic beverages to the juveniles, ways of prevention. The goal of the thesis is mapping the situation in the field of alcohol consumption by juveniles, to find connections between alcohol consumption by juveniles and all motional factors including alcohol propagation on one side and prevention on the other side.The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with alcohol, with an emphasis on alcohol abuse by juveniles and its impact on them, the topic of advertising, principles of operation and advertising techniques and finally the issue of prevention. The practical part consists of a reconnaissance survey aimed at juveniles and the environment in which they find themselves, alcohol, prevention and promotion and their interconnectedness; the processed survey results are used to confirm or refuse the formulated hypotheses.
Relation of adolescents to alternative ways of alimentation

The bachelor's thesis focuses on problems of alternative ways of alimentation. In the theoretical part the term alternative ways of alimentation is defined and briefly particular alternative alimentation is characterized. It treats also about problems of evolution in teenage, particularly about a relation of adolescents to alimentation. The practical part of the thesis describes a research which testified the relation of adolescents to alternative ways of alimentation. The research was focused on survey if students of chosen schools are interested in issues of alternative ways of alimentation, if they eat alternatively and why. The questionnaire was used to achieve the data. The results of the realized questionnaire research prove the interest of teenagers in alternative ways of alimentation, but most of the responders in the questionnaire said that they do not eat alternatively.
Risks of being on diet for middle - aged women

The bachelor work focuses on the risks of women's diets in middle age (45 - 60 years of age). The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part characterises generally the period of menopause which just emerges in the women's middle age. It refers to the basic principles of rational eating. It regards the issues of overweight and obesity and related reduction diets and their impact on health conditions of women. Based on the technical findings, the work makes recommendations how to adjust a diet in a suitable way. Practical part includes the questionnaire inquiry which is aimed at women's eating habits and their experience with reduction diets. The individual results are evaluated and discussed in the conclusion of the study. The results of the questionnaire survey indicate apparent lack of information of middle - aged women especially in terms of health risks related to reduction diets.

TITLE: Knowledge and attitudes towards HIV / AIDS among adolescents in the selected region AUTHOR: Bc. Magdalena Sajdlová DEPARTMENT: Department of education and social education, department of health education SUPERVISOR: Peadr. Eva Marádová, Csc. ABSTRACT: The thesis is divided into the two parts. The first part describes basic information about HIV and AIDS - the essence of the disease, transmission of disease, method of spreading the principles of diagnosis, therapy options. I describe the basic principles of prevention for a wide strata of the population and the basic principles of teaching, education and prevention in the elementary school. The second part is called research investigation. It describes the basic structure of the work. The research part contains the way of teaching of HIV and AIDS in three selected elementary schools and one selected secondary school in eighth classes. Information was obtained using a questionnaire, where I find the knowledge and attitudes of pupil sin individual schools and an interview with a teacher who has taught this subject. The results of the schools compare with each other. Based on the results of the evaluation recommendations processing (content, form) for individual schools. Attitudes of teachers to the phenomenon of cyberbullying

TITLE: Attitudes of Teachers to the Phenomenon of Cyberbullying AUTHOR: Jiřina Piškulová DEPARTMENT: Department of Education SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Michal Zvírotský, Ph.D ABSTRACT: The thesis deals with the definition of cyberbullying and its relationship to the "standard, school" bullying. It draws attention to their differences and emphasizes their similarities which could be used in working with it. The work contains descriptions of some kinds of cyberbullying and their examples. It specifies the typical features of the aggressor and the victim, again in the contrast to the standard bullying. It gives instructions to the prevention of this socially pathological behaviour from the point of view of the user, his parents and the school. It describes the process of revelation and consequent investigation of cyberbullying and anew it deals with the measures of the school, parents and the user. It comments on cyberbullying aimed at teachers, it defines the attitude and tries to estimate the attitudes of teachers the cyberbullying.
