Assessment of the effect of origin and the fraction of coarse aggregate for flexibility and durability of structural concrete
Hanuš, Petr ; Žalud, Oldřich (referee) ; Vymazal, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with influence of origin and fraction of rough aggregate on the durability and elasticity of structural concrete. As a criterion of durability, the frost resistance of concrete is monitored. In the theoretical part describes the types of aggregates, which are used in structural concretes. In addition, test methods are described to determine the elasticity and durability of concrete according to the test standards valid in the czech republic. In the experimental part of the thesis, seven concretes of the same consistency and strength were designed and mixed, which differed using different types of coarse aggregate. A change in elasticity during freezing cycles was observed
The phenomenon of Medjugorje and its subsequent investigation by church officials in the years 1981-1984
Hanuš, Petr ; Pelikán, Jan (advisor) ; Vojtěchovský, Ondřej (referee)
This thesis deals with the Church's investigation of the events in Medjugorje in the years between 1981 - 1984 by the Franciscans of St. James's parish, bishop of Mostar and Duvno Pavao Žanić and the so-called first diocesan commission. Particular attention is paid to " the Herzegovina Case", which makes the historical background to the events in Medjugorje. This thesis also introduces the role of the charismatic movement in Medjugorje events and the social and confessional structure of the pilgrims to Medjugorje in the reference period. The basic proposition of the work is the fact that the phenomenon of Medjugorje is the result of many factors, of which the Cold War can be placed on the second position right after Herzegovina case.
The safety line for childern: ethical aspects of calls require contact of other institution
Comparison of quality of milk from conventional and organic farming
Cermanová, Ivana ; Vítová, Eva (referee) ; doc.Ing.Oto Hanuš, Ph.D. (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the comparison of milk quality in two different ways of farming, conventional and organic farming. Almost a hundred parameters on the set of 64 bulk milk samples were monitored. The theoretical part of the paper describes the composition of cow's milk, its technological and hygienic properties and it notes the nutritional impact of milk and milk products. It also mentions the most important legal definition of organic farming. Experimental part describes the setting of the experiment and mentions the methods used to analyze milk samples for individual parameters and it details the ten selected determination. The difference in measured values of various milk indicators depending on the dairy farm was observed by using statistical methods and an explanation was suggested in the case of the statistical significance. The thesis was based on the cooperation of the Faculty of Chemistry VUT Brno and a National reference laboratory for raw milk at the Research Institute for Cattle Breeding in Rapotin.
Analysis and modeling of sensors and actuators of LEGO Mindstorm
Hanuš, Pavel ; Sova, Václav (referee) ; Grepl, Robert (advisor)
The focus of this thesis is a detailed analysis and modeling of selected sensors and actuators of programmable robotic kit LEGO Mindstorms NXT 2.0. Actuators are represented by servomotors and the selected sensors include a color and an ultrasonic sensor, both available in the basic version of the kit, and a gyro sensor made by HiTechnic. The thesis describes the realization and evaluation of experiments performed for each element resulting in graphical representations of the sensors’ properties, models in Simulink environment representing the respective elements, and datasheets – overviews of parameters and characteristics of the individual sensors and actuators. The detailed analysis of the sensors and servomotors of the kit provides an overview of the possibilities, but also the limitations of the particular elements. This knowledge can be subsequently used for a wide range of possible applications of the kit.
Design of store layout according to techniques of lean management
Hanuš, Pavel ; Zelená, Veronika (advisor) ; Krejčová, Iva (referee)
The main objectives of this bachelor thesis are to make a design of equipment and a layout of a new store. This thesis is being processed in the company that sells building materials and equipment. Theoretical part is mainly focused on the methods of a lean enterprise. In this part I am also summarizing main knowledge of retail, office and warehouse layout. Practical part is dedicated to the implementation of findings from the theoretical part as an analysis of current store and a design of a new store. Final part of the thesis is focused on the practical benefits for the company Falco-systém s. r. o. and on the achieving of the given objectives.
