The bachelor thesis Ethical aspects of citizen photojournalism with a focus on photographic and audiovisual record from late twenties until present follows up the phenomenon of citizen journalism, which recorded especially in the last decade a sharp rise thanks to the development of information and communication technologies and looks at it from an ethical perspective. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part deals with theoretical notions of ethics and citizen journalism, including the ethical principles of journalism and code of ethics. It also examines the pro and con arguments and another form of citizen journalism, participatory journalism. The second part is devoted to new media from history to present and social networks (Facebook, Twitter etc.), which are closely linked to the development of citizen journalism. The last part has the form of practical examples focusing on photographic and audiovisual records. The History of Hospodářské noviny The Economic Journal Daily and its transformation

Diploma thesis "The history of Hospodarske noviny The Economic Journal Daily" talks about the development of the economic journal which used to be an "economic journal weekly" and then it was transferred to a daily journal. The described time of the thesis can be dated with the year 1957 when the communist concept of the economic magazine was firstly introduced and it lead to the origin of the Hospodarske noviny. The historical work finishes in the second half of the nineties when the economic journal slowly changed into a regular daily tabloid. The work is divided into two fundamental sections - after the basically most extensive part of the work that talks of the history of the magazine during the communist period there is also a part that describes the development of the newspaper after the fall of the communist regime. However, the lack of the dates such as the details of some important contracts made it impossible to analyze completely the ownership of the newspaper. But still this work also offers an overview of this problematic.

ln my doetoral thesis I pursue magie and superstitious ideas whieh are the integral part of tspiritual life of the Roma. I tried to ob serve the Romany eommunity from another side. Magie and superstitious ideas of the Roma remain foggy from the seientifie point of view. For the Romany population including the Roma élite they are taboo and for the majority of the soeiety including seholars who deal with the problems of the Roma they are of no aeeount or they are not mentioned, they are unknown. The work deals with the present signifieanee, eondition and funetion of the traditions, aets and praetiees eonneeted with magie and superstitious ideas from the field of love magie. This question of the spiritual life of eontemporary Czeeh Romany people was elaborated on the historieally based superstitious and magie baekground whieh was interpreted by the seolars as the individuality of Romany spirituallife. The problem of magie and superstitious ideas in the field oflove magie is seen from the point ofview ofthe woman who is a hol der, a performer and a recipient ofthese eoneeptions. The work follows the problems of the magie in partner relationships - the problems of the beginning, keeping, renewing and eeasing love relations and the way magie inf1uenees them. Breeding of selected species from \kur{Felidae} family in ZOOs in the Czech Republic

The aim of this thesis was to process the data and information with predictive capabilities of breeding lion (Panthera leo) and tiger (Panthera tigris) in the Czech zoos including their subspecies. The results was based on the yearbooks of the Union of Czech and Slovak Zoos (UCSZOO), and I try complemented it with adequate information from bulletins of an expert commission UCSZOO for subfamilies Pantherinae and Acinonynchinae: Baghira 1/2004 - 11/2014. I assessed the development of the last 24 years (1990 - 2014). If possible I complete it with a brief summary of the relevant facts from the history of the breeding.

Financial analysis of concrete company

This Bachelor thesis is focused on assessment of a financial situation of a company in the period between 2008 - 2012. Rating of company is based on indicators of the financial analysis. In the thesis described theory, that relates of the financial analysis and introduced different methods of the financial analysis. Suitable methodology has been prepared to assess specific company for the calculation. The analysis proceeds in two stages. In the first stage analysis were executed horizontal and vertical analysis. These indicators complete an idea of financial situation of company. In second stage have been used indicators, that used in the Du Pont analysis. In the end the thesis has been evaluated financial situation of company.

The trading in lions's hunting trophies (Panthera leo) with regard to conservation

In addition to other causes of threats to the lion (Panthera leo), such as the loss of habitat, disease and conflict with humans, the largest subject of discussion is the trophy hunting. The growing threat to populations divides scientists, participants in hunting industry, various welfare and conservation organizations and now also a part of the general public into two camps. Some believe that it is possible sustainable trophy hunting and trading with other commodities originating from lions because this activity are considered for protection. The other side says the opposite and try to stop the excessive use of various means, such as through petitions, meetings with politicians and disseminating information to the public. The space-time development of trade was evaluated for the period 1977 - 2012 using data gathered in CITES Trade Database, and also on the basis of the information obtained. Scientists have already proved that in some areas trophy hunting affected lion population and increases a infanticide. To this mortality may be added moreover additive mortality due to trapping, retaliatory killing and poaching. More and more threat are becoming the farms in South Africa exporting most bones into Laos and then to Vietnam and China, where are replacing tiger bones. South Africa is also the world's largest exporter of trophies, bones, and body parts and live specimens, it is also the third largest importer. While the local number of lions in the wild exceeds 2000, there are 8 000 captive bred ones. The USA are the world's largest importer of trophies, other specimens, claws, teeth, skulls, bodies and parts. The import is also significantly involved in EU countries (Spain, Germany, France, Great Britain and Switzerland). Specimens mostly come from nature and from breeding in captivity. The most abundant reason for business is hunting trophy and subsequently personal and commercial reason. The most traded commodities are trophies and then claws, teeth and skulls. Trade reached its peak in 2009 and then in 2011, with total trade amounted to 149 202 commodities.
