Evaluation of formal correctness and risky behavior content on the site pedagogical-psychological counseling centers in the Czech Republic in 2016

Roman Gabrhelík Ph.D. Title: Evaluation of formal accuracy and content on the risk behavior of the webpages of pedagogical and psychological counseling centers in the Czech Republic in 2016 ABSTRACT The thesis describes the evaluation of formal accuracy and content about the risk behavior of the websites of pedagogical and psychological counseling in the Czech Republic. Since information technology is today one of the main tools for obtaining information, it is necessary to address the quality of internet presentations. The aim of the research is to evaluate the formal and content levels of the websites of pedagogical and psychological counseling through research and content analysis. The theoretical part of this thesis is based on professional literature, both Czech and foreign experts. It deals with risk behavior from the point of view of addictology, pedagogical- psychological counseling, its purpose and position in the education system. Practical part deals with practical research, which was realized by questionnaire survey. Within the stated objectives, it was found that all PPPs in the Czech Republic use a website for their presentation. Their quality is generally very variable and even the most successful ones have not reached 70% of the possible points....

Comparison of the quality of life between pathological gamblers in treatment and without treatment

Barbora Janíková Title: Comparison of the quality of life between pathological gamblers in treatment and without treatment - quantitative method Abstract: The objective of my thesis is to survey and compare the quality of life of treated and untreated pathological gamblers, and examine how much their average score in particular domains of life differs from the population norm. The other objective ascertains which aspects of quality of life are influenced equally and which are influenced differently between Prague and Olomouc region. The last goal is to compare gambler's career in the SOGS questionnaire between treated and untreated gamblers. The thesis is processed with the quantitative method using the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire on quality of life issue and SOGS questionnaire on pathological gambling. The data was processed with statistical methods in Microsoft Excel and entered into spreadsheets and graphs. Based on these results we can focus on prevention and improvement in working with gamblers. The thesis used literature and data from an addiction center. Barbora Janíková Title: Comparison of the quality of life between pathological gamblers in treatment and without treatment - quantitative method Abstract: This work deals with the pathological gambling and with a quality of life between pathological gamblers in treatment and without treatment. The theoretical part of this work derives from the special literature of both the Czech specialists and the foreign ones. The practical part deals with a practical research realized by an accidental selection of respondents. The theoretical part deals with what the addiction is and why it is included in this frame though the pathological gambling is an addictive impulsive disorder. Also this work deals with characters as well as with the way how this addiction and its follow-up treatment occur. Impacts on a gambler'ś life are an essential part of this work, too. This work - in its practical part - uses a quantitative method of the research. The research was realized between pathological gamblers in treatment and without treatment, their answers are compared in graphs of the appropriate domains.
