PHP framework for working with relational databases with logical tree structure
Ejem, Richard ; Forst, Libor (advisor) ; Nečaský, Martin (referee)
In this thesis we have developed a framework which allows programmers to effectively create web database applications with PHP. The key advantage of this framework is that it can create web user interface from data model with almost no need of writing additional code. We have not found such complex solution in other existing frameworks. They usually deal only with a part of this problem (robust model layer or web interface) or do not implicitly link these layers. This framework uses some time-proven practices and design paterns used in existing frameworks. In addition, it provides some new tools and techniques making web application development easier. Main advantages are generated web user interface and object model to easily create and edit SQL queries by machine. Main concept of this framework is convention over configuration, which means that programmer using this framework does not have to write detailed code descri- bing standard application behaviour. Loading the framework is almost sufficient to create working web database application. Programmer then only customizes the parts of application which need other than default behaviour. 1
Trusted proxy in SSL/TLS connection
Smolík, Jiří ; Forst, Libor (advisor) ; Lukeš, Dan (referee)
The problem of SSL/TLS interception ("trusted proxy in SSL/TLS connection") has been known for years and many implementations exist. However, all of them share a single technical solution which is based solely on the PKI authentication mechanism and suffers from multiple serious disadvantages. Most importantly, it is not compatible with several aspects or future trends of SSL/TLS and PKI, there's almost no space for improvement and its real use may spawn legal issues. After we analyze technical background and the current solution, we will propose another one, based not only on PKI but SSL/TLS too. Both solutions will be compared and general superiority of the new one will be shown. Basic implementation and analysis will follow, along with deployment requirements and ideas for future development. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Game strategy creation and debugging tool
Roztočil, Jan ; Forst, Libor (advisor) ; Klímek, Jakub (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to create an implementation of a strategic board game of Risk. A play against computer-controlled opponents will be supported, as well as multiplayer game of human players over the Internet. A design of a reusable communication protocol is also a part of the task. An interface for defining a new computer strategies will be provided within the implementation. The program will be oriented as a tool for develepment of those strategies, it will help to debug strategies within an actual game. The program will support MS~Windows and Linux operating systems.
Paper review system
Ulrychová, Markéta ; Forst, Libor (advisor) ; Holubová, Irena (referee)
Goal of this thesis is to create an application for writing reviews of papers in mathematical journals. It provides centralization of all processes, simplicity and efectiveness of operations. Papers, i.e. metadata and scanned PDF files, are stored on a disk of server. The application handles rights to access to the papers accor- ding to the current state of them. Automatically generated emails are sent when some editing of paper is done. Implementation of this thesis is a web application. It is written in programming language PHP and it uses database MySQL. 1
Remote services control systems
Knop, Dušan ; Lukeš, Dan (advisor) ; Forst, Libor (referee)
In the present work we study possibilities of network monitoring system creation. We will audit computers in networks and services running on them. System must allow adding new kinds of tests into it. So if some test is not yet implemented it should be possible to add it into the system. As a result there is a implementation of such a system (modular with coordinator) written in C languague for FreeBSD operating system. Concrete testing methods are implemented as standalone modules which comunicate with coordinator by network protocol. In the case of error location the coordinator will send information by given way to set persons. Concrete methods for sending information are also implemented as modules.
Smart Traffic Intersection
Škopková, Věra ; Barták, Roman (advisor) ; Forst, Libor (referee)
This thesis is concerned with the problem of planning paths for autonomous cars through a smart traffic intersection. In this thesis, we describe existing concepts for solving this problem and discuss the possibilities of approaching intersection problems theoretically. Then, we choose one specific approach and design a declarative model for solving the problem. We use that model to perform a series of theoretical experiments to test the throughput and the quality of intersection paths described by different graphs. After that, we translate theoretical plans to actions for real robots and run it. In these experiments, we measure the degree of robots desynchronization and performance success of the plans based on the collision rate. We also describe how to improve action translation to achieve better performance than that for real robots following the straightforward plans.

Multiplatform network implementation of the Risk game
Guth, Robert ; Forst, Libor (advisor) ; Horký, Vojtěch (referee)
Risk is a computer program for playing the classic version of board game Risk independently on the operating system, enabling multiplayer mode on one or more computers connected through a local network or the internet. Network communication is running according to pre-established protocol, so the Risk can communicate with other programs made for the Risk playing, while they utilize this protocol. Program provides several types of opponents with different difficulties controlled by computer, who are able to challenge both beginners and experienced players. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
