SUMMARY Introduced diploma work devotes mechanism and theory of bioadhesion, mucoadhesion and factors influencing bioadhesion in the theoretic part. Further it intents on pharmaceutical bioadhesives and introduces basic view usually used testing methods too. Experimental part this work deals with the study of adhesive and reological properties of branched terpolymers of acid D, L - lactic, glycolic and mannitol (dipentaerythritol) in concentration 3%, 5%, 8%. These oligoesters were plastified with ES in concentrations 10 - 50%. For measurement of adhesion was used material testing machine T1-FR050TH.A1K Zwick/Roell and it is at setting these experimental parameters: contact time 60s, contact force 5N and speed of detachment sample from base 300 mm/min. Rate of adhesive properties was maximal strength Fmax (strength needed for detachement sample from base). For adhesion is the most significant factor concentration of plasticizer. Increasing concentration of ES leads to declines, whereas the greatest decline was discover on increasing concentration ES from 20% to 30%. On adhesive strength has also influence molar weight of the porter, when adhesive strength increases with increasing molar weight....

Domestic violence and its prevention

Domestic violence as a negative social phenomenon of our society has started to be considered as a serious topic in the Czech Republic in the last few years. It has started to be discussed in public in the 90's. Before, it was considered as a private matter not supposed to be governed by the law or any other state regulations. The aim of this thesis is to describe domestic violence in the light of criminological aspects of this topic. It is focused on concept and definitions of domestic violence, its phenomenology and etiology. Attention is paid to the victim of domestic violence, influence of domestic violence on her psyche and behavior, consequences of domestic violence and relationship between the victim and the aggressor. At least but not last there is mentioned a prevention of domestic violence and efficient help offered to victims. There are many definitions of domestic violence and we cannot say that only one is correct. Domestic violence is very comprehensive and a complicated phenomenon so it is not possible to assign only one definition as generally valid. However, it has some typical features: domestic violence differs from other violent acts in the existence of intimate relationship between aggressor and his victim, it happens in privacy and mostly without witnesses, it happens...

Chromatography method optimization for HPLC determination of carotenoids.

This thesis deals with searching for optimal conditions for determination of carotenoids lutein, betacarotene and zeaxanthin. High performance liquid chromatography - HPLC was used for determination. During searching for optimal conditions many various columns and mobile phases were tested. Primary information about carotenoids separation was obtained from scientific literature. There were tested both types of chromatography - normal phases chromatography and reversed phases chromatography. The most frequently tested columns were C18 columns from different producers. The biggest problem for HPLC determination and separation of these three substance were position isomers of lutein and zeaxanthin. Separation of these substances is relatively difficult and it wasn't completely solved in this thesis. In spite of it new metod for determination and separation of three carotenoids was developed. This method used isocratic elution at column Zorbax SB C18 (50 x 4,6 mm, 2 μm), UV detection at 450 nm, mobile phase of methylene chloride:hexan:acetonitrile (2,5:2,5:95), injected volume 1 μl and flow rate at 1 ml/min.

The role of fibroblast activation protein and other proteases in tumour progression

Proteases are often associated with cancer and play a role of leading enzymes responsible for tumour cell invasion and metastasis. Proteolytic activity enables proteases to influence tumour progression in many ways, including cleavage of extracellular matrix, which is necessary for invasion. This thesis deals with the study of processes by which proteases regulate tumour development, either positively or negatively, and also mentions factors influencing the activity of the proteases. In connection with invasiveness of tumour cells, a major part of the thesis is dedicated to the role of fibroblast activation protein. This serine protease is expressed in stromal fibroblasts, is able to cleave collagen and has been thus established as a therapeutic target for the treatment of carcinomas. The emphasis is also put on dipeptidyl peptidase IV, a close homologue of fibroblast activation protein, especially in relation with a selective targeting of fibroblast activation protein using the inhibitors and other therapeutic agents, whose development and use are also outlined in this thesis. Sexuální zneužívání dětí Sexual abuse of children Petra Dvořáková This work describes the sexual abuse of children. The main objective was to create a work that would form a coherent and comprehensive view on this issue. The thesis contains a theoretical and practical part. The practical part includes qualitative research. The research consists of five case studies. These case studies show the sexual abuse of children in practice. The goal of the practical part is the description of cases of sexual abuse, evaluation, comparison of results and identification of common features that appear in the case studies and also in the theoretical part of my work. The analyses of case studies show that the perpetrator was always the family. The consequences of sexual abuse that emerged from the case studies, agree with your description of the theoretical part. In most cases, it was a long- term consequence. The last chapter of the thesis is called prevention. This chapter is the most important of the whole work. It is important to focus not only on the treatment of sexually abused children, but also the environment in which the social and legal protection of children is provided. Kateřina Rybářová Title: Use of Occupational Therapy in Children with Williams Syndrome up to 15 years Abstract: Williams syndrome also known as Williams-Beuren syndrome is a rare genetic disease caused by microdeletion of chromosome 7. The extensive clinical picture significantly affects the daily life of children with this diagnosis. The care for children with Williams syndrome requires an intervention of a multidisciplinary team, which also includes an occupational therapist. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to define the role of occupational therapist and areas of intervention for children under 15 years of age with Williams syndrome. The theoretical part of the bachelors thesis briefly describes the general issues related to diagnosis, disease prevalence, clinical characteristics, the operations of the association for Williams syndrome in the Czech Republic, treatment and therapeutic options. Analýza poptávky po Vyškovském pivu jako regionálním produktu

The aim of the thesis is to analyze the demand for Vyškovsku beer as a regional product. The theoretical part deals with the interpretation of the history of beer and its production, historical and current development of the brewery Vyškov, characteristic of the district Vyškov, marketing research and statistical summary. The practical part is elaborated on the basis of marketing research, which was evaluated from data collected through two surveys. The first one focuses on the preferences of potential consumers, and the second is for operators of restaurants in the district Vyškov. The results of the survey were evaluated based on statistical methods.

Vliv kopytníků na zemědělskou a lesnickou produkci v kraji Vysočina

This diploma thesis deals with the problems of damages caused by ungulates on forest and agricultural lands in two model areas in Vysocina region. The first part provides the theoretical background about damage by game, protection against damage and quantification of damages. In the second part the data on the damage of plots and numbers of game animals for the years 2015 and 2016 in hunting areas are processed. The data are processed in charts and tables and the impact of selected game species is then evaluated. The greatest damage on forest land in the area is cause by browsing by roe deer. On farmland, the greatest damage is caused by the population of wild boar on the permanent grassland. In the investigated area, the total damage caused by game is low. At the end of the thesis the results and suggested possible measures are summarised.

Work experience of residents of Halfway Maják

The aim of this thesis is to survey work experience of inhabitants of the Halfway House Maják. The paper focuses on characteristics of social work of halfway houses, the Halfway House Maják is then discussed in further detail. Target clients of halfway houses are described in the next part together with topics of deprivation, attachment and trauma. Next chapter focuses on topics such as work and unemployment, corresponding experience from the Halfway House Maják is further discussed. The last part surveys work experience of clients of the Halfway House Maják using the method of interviews. Each respondent is described by basic information and methodology of research is delineated in this part. The interviews concentrate on current work, first work experience and specific help with searching for a job. Other topics of the interviews are memories connected with work, relationships at work, benefits of work, and also it's negative influence. Last area covered in the interviews is advice about a successful inclusion at work given by the clients to people leaving institutions.
