APU unit for KAMbot robot
Duz, Aleksei ; Kopečný, Lukáš (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and creation PCB unit, which will provide protection Li-Ion battery for KAMbot robot. The aim of this work is to design, revive and programm PCB board, whitch will be connected to 4-cells Li-Ion battery and will protect it. The work is divided into 4 parts. The first one deals to parse different ways to protect the battery. The second part occupy design and creation PCB board for protection of aLi-Ion battery. The third section deals to programm microcontroller, communicate with chip that it protects battery and control the protection unit. The fourth part presents results of efficiency tests for protection Li-Ion battery unit.
Current source for the solid-state laser amplifier
Žilka, Martin ; Duz, Aleksei (referee) ; Novák, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with theoretical design of solid-state laser beam amplifier power supply. The introductory part contains a description of operation principles of some step-down DC/DC converter topologies, including their advantages and disadvantages. The next chapter describes design issues of a DC/DC converter design, including full schematic diagram. The conclusion is focused on practical assembling and testing of the designed device.
Program for test devices
Lapčák, Adam ; Duz, Aleksei (referee) ; Novák, Lukáš (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is a design and realization of a device, which is designed for commissioning and testing of a device that processes data from scale tensiometers for the IoT database (tested device). The main two parts of a designed device are a microcontroller programmer and a tester. The device being tested is checked for the voltage in important nodes of the circuit, data validation from serial UART lines and status signals. The simple and quick connection between those devices is realized by spring-loaded pins. In addition to the design and realization of the device, the thesis also deals with the creation of a testing program that ensures data collection and store it in the microcontroller's memory for further error analysis of the tested device. The additional part is a control of the device and a visualization of the detected data in the PC application. Communication of the tester microcontroller with the PC is mediated by the USB/UART converter.
DC motor controller module
Duz, Aleksei ; Kadlec, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kuchta, Radek (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the design and creation of control unit for DC motors drives. A principle on which the DC motor is based, a method of its control and a possibility to obtain current information about the position are briefly described in this work. After that, the different types of buses for communication with a superior system and justification of the chosen one, are presented. In the next section, there is a special emphasis on creation of the suitable driver model and a design of the elecrical schematic and PCB. The end of the thesis contains a description of commission a PCB and testing the main functions.
Automotive LED driver with additional functions
Vlach, Marek ; Duz, Aleksei (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
In this diploma thesis, the design and construction of a LED driver with additional functions for the automotive industry is carried out to meet its requirements. The LED driver is based on the principle of DC/DC converter in H-bridge topology, which is used to supply a string of power LEDs. The combined function of the daytime running lights and position lights governed by the driver control electronics is then implemented on the LED string. Other additional functions of the driver are temperature regulation of the output current and error reporting in case of a fault condition on the LED string. A set of typical measurements on a manufactured sample including functional tests, efficiency measurements, thermal analysis and EMC testing are employed to verify the driver parameters.
