Reconstruction of Human Hand Surface for the Purpose of Biometric Recognition of Persons
Svoboda, Jan ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Dluhoš, Ondřej (advisor)
The goal of this work is to create a device and design an algorithm for the recostruction of human hand surface for the purpose of biometric recognition of persons. First of all existing approaches to human hand surface reconstruction are introduced. Subsequently the theoretical base of the methods used in the solution is shown. Also, the device con- struction is presented in more detail to the reader. After that the reconstruction algorithm implementation is described. In the end, experiments and results are presented.
Dynamic Changes in the Terrain
Dvořák, Radim ; Bílek, Václav (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with design, implementation and analysis of the model for dynamic changes in the terrain. Present state of terrain deformation in OpenSceneGraph environment is described and available relevant software called TDS, which allows terrain adaptation to new inserted objects is presented. Special emphasis is placed on design of model for physically based terrain deformations that are caused by moving object or by bomb explosion. The results of simulation tests are presented and on the base of model analysis, the optimizations, which significantly improve final algorithm, are designed and realized.
Detection and Classification of Damage in Fingerprint Images Using Neural Nets
Vican, Peter ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Kanich, Ondřej (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to study and design experimental improvement of the convolutional neural network for disease detection. Another goal is to extend the classifier with a new type of detection. he new type of detection is damage fingerprint by pressure. The experimentally improved convolutional network is implemented by PyTorch. The network detects which part of the fingerprint is damaged and draws this part into the fingerprint. Synthetic fingerprints are used when training the net. Real fingerprints are added to the synthetic fingerprints.
Generation of Skin Diseases into the Synthetic Fingerprints Using SFinGe
Svoradová, Veronika ; Kanich, Ondřej (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of an algorithm that generates skin diseases into a synthetic fingerprint. Generated objects help to create the main features of skin diseases into fingerprints which are designed by the SFinGe generator. Selected skin diseases are atopic eczema and dishydrosis.
Advanced Generation of Spoof Artefacts into Synthetic Fingerprints
Vrábľová, Žofia ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Kanich, Ondřej (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to extend the application for spoof effects generation into synthetic fingerprints with the possibility of generation of two new spoof effects together with annotations of generated damages. Spoof effects chosen for this thesis are areas with lower clarity and defects in spoof material. Those effects were analyzed, methods to generate those effects were designed and then implemented. According to testing, generation of two new added spoof effects led to reduction in quality of fingerprint images, as well as the value of the similarity score determined during identification. In comparison with the original solution, the quality of the fingerprints decreased more in the extended solution, the similarity score in the generation of separate spoof effect decreased overall approximately equally.
Indoor Detection of People Based on Vital Sign Sensing
User Agenda Transport for the Economic System Stormware POHODA
Bittner, Zdeněk ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to design and implement new version of the user agenda Transport for the economic system Stormware POHODA, which is used to order parcel transportation from many different shippers and to print address labels based on data straight from the system Stowmare POHODA. For implementation of the main part of the solution ware used .NET Framework and programming language C#.
Retinal images in biometry
Bujnošková, Eva ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
Retinal recognition is very efficient and almost non-fallible tool for persons' identification, thanks its advantages it can be used in cases when high security is needed. Process of the identification comes from successful vessel extraction and the transfer to binary image. After that this is used to look for the vessel bifurcations with help of skeletonization which is one of the operations of mathematical morphology. The parameter of the detection of bifurcations isn't enough therefore there are other information completed - thickness and the direction of vessel in the surroundings of known crossing. The best correlation between the parameters and the images in database is searched, than alignment is made, and with the certain probability the closest image is chosen to be proclaimed as the match. The solution uses also the second method to image processing - the method using image translation and evaluation of minimal distances between found bifurcations.
Tool for Detection and Correction of Images with Diseased Eye Retinas
Jochlík, Jakub ; Semerád, Lukáš (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
Loss or partial loss of eye sight can have major effect on quality of person's life. One of the most common diseases, which causes loss or partial loss of eye sight are diabetic retinopathy and age releated macular degeneration. Both of these diseases can be prevented or mediated by early detection and proper treatment. The fundus camera, which is used to capture eye retina, has had major effect on increasing quality and speed of early detection. Images captured by fundus camera can be automatically analyzed in order to detect any possible signs of retina damage. This thesis proposes one possible way of automating this process. First part of this thesis describes eye, its diseases and capturing technology. Second part then proposes way of automating detection process and its implementation. Lastly, the results are evaluated.
