HIV Prevention at Schools

Writer introduce basic facts about HIV/AIDS disease in first chapter. She explains difference between HIV and AIDS and she gives information direct to this issue. She describes types of transfer, protection methods, testing types, infection stages and related treatment. Short excursion to history about first occurrence of the virus, way of spread, numbers of infected in present. In next chapter she introduce tools which Czech Republic use to cover this issue of HIV/AIDS. As is National program against AIDS, National referential laboratory for AIDS or AIDS centers. Program Health21 is included. It's aimed to certain number seven. She also goes through some selected pragues organizations, united in non-govermental union and she presents theirs projects in primary prevention at schools. She informs about presentations, peer programs and she concentrates on differences. Than she presents two projects Choose life from ACET and Chat about HIV and AIDS from the Czech AIDS Help Society. Which she desribes in detail and than evaluate and compare due to aim she set up.

Substitution Treatment: Subutex

Bachelor's thesis named "Substitution treatment - Subutex" introduces a reader with possible solution of opioid addiction theme, where one of the possible treatments is the replacement with Subutex preparation. Thesis is divided into seven sections. First one deals with the drug policy in the Czech Republic. Next part informs the reader with harm reduction approach in general that includes substitution treatment as well. Thesis presents goals, types and providers of the substitution treatments as well as two lately prescribed medicaments in the Czech Republic: Subutex and Suboxone. After eight years from its registration in 2000 Subutex has turned from being the solution to the problem of opiates addiction. As a result of it a new remedy to deal with these problems has been introduced this January. It bears name Suboxone. The last section introduces into users experience. The thesis looks at the issue from the users' point of view using qualitative inquiry method among clients treated with Subutex. This inquiry tries to learn about clients' experience with the session in general, conditions and with rules imposed by the attending physician, together with its breaching if there is any. Syndrom CAN

The graduation work deals with the issues of syndrom CAN particularly with physical punishment of children as a possible form of abuse. The work is divided into three main parts. The first and the second part is theoretical an there is contained information about syndrom CAN and physical punishments, got by reading professional literature and other sources. The empiric part deals with questionnaire survey and it's results. Respondents became pupils of the sixth grade of Primary shool in Prague and Primary school in Nové Město na Moravě. Primary Prevention of Abuse of Addictive Toxic Substance - in Pilsen

The topic of this bachelor work is the primary drug prevention. The first part of this work - presents definitions of fundamental concepts and terms, further the effectiveness, evaluation and quality standards of preventive programs. The next chapter describes briefly the development of primary prevention in the Czech Republic and there are also listed actual legislative regulations. This is followed by concise epidemiology of drug addictions in Pilsener region from 1997 to 2007. The practical part maps projects of primary prevention of drug abuse - it is shown as a comparison of situations in the year 1997 and the present. Family Centre - the Resocialization of Mothers-Drug Addict

The work is monitoring activities and usefulness of Centre for family dealing with mothers on psychotropic addictive drugs and their re-socialization. For the possibility of examination of the programme usefulness for the target group, the single steps of the therapy are shown in a particular client case as followed during the three stages of the project. I also asked fifty clients about eleven questions. The aims of the Centre for family were the criterions for my choice of questions. The inquiry is monitoring the achieved level of re-socialization of clients. The contribution and reasonability of this project has been shown as based on the followed case, figures obtained in the inquiry and the Centre for Family results. The clients who got through the whole programme are stabilized, re-socialized and able to be a part of the society which is very significant for the growth and development of their children. This work is focused on the Centre for Family because of its uniqueness among the other institutions dealing with the drug problems. Positive influence on the life attitudes and "The Orientational Days for the Youth" as a form of primary prevention

In meiner Bachelorarbeit beschäftige ich mich mit dem Thema: "Positive Beeinflussung der Lebenseinstellunge" und "Orientierungstage für die Jugend" als eine Forma der Primarprävention. Die Arbeit ist auf zwei Teile verteilt (theoretischer Teil und praktischer Teil). Im theoretischen Teil ist das Thema der Prävention erklärt. Weiter die Gründe, warum die Prävention realisiert werde sollte und die Hauptaufgaben, die man ausgeführen muss, damit sie wirksam ist. Im praktischen Teil stelle ich das Program der Primarprävention in der christlichen pedagogisch-psychologischen Beratungsstelle in Prag vor (das ich in einer Grundschule realisierte) und die "Orientierungstage für die Jugend", welche realisiert der Bischofssitz in Hradec Králové. Ich stellte der Einfluss der Prävention auf die Zielgruppe (die Schüler 6. -9. Klasse und erster Stufe der Mittelschule) fest. Die Quellen waren: die Fragebögen, das Feedback von den Schüler und Lehrer, und die Gespräche mit den Lektoren und Methodikern. Influence of family environment and its impact on the school success

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o významu rodinného prostředí na školní úspěšnost a vzdělání dětí. Toto téma jsem se snažila popsat tak, jak se může projevovat z pohledu klientů sociálně-právní ochrany dětí (dále OSPOD) Praha 20. Cílem mé bakalářské práce je zjistit souvislost rodinného prostředí se vzděláním dětí. Jak ovlivňuje nepodnětné rodinné prostředí poznávací schopnost dětí. V případě, kdy dítě vyrůstá v nepodnětném prostředí, kde vzdělání není vysokou hodnotou, může být úspěšné ve studiu a dosáhnout vyššího vzdělání než jeho rodiče? Prvním podnětem pro mou bakalářskou práci byla kniha T. Katrňáka - Odsouzeni k manuální práci, kde autor předkládá názor, že předávání kulturního kapitálu svým dětem vždy záleží na systematické práci rodičů, na tom, jak se staví ke škole a vzdělávání a toto vše se pak snaží dětem předávat. Typickým přístupem k výchově v rodinách s nízkým vzděláním jsou děti jako "plovoucí zátky" bez vedení a opory. "Budu dělník jako táta, tak k čemu je mi učení? " S autorem naprosto souhlasím. I přes to, že je velká pravděpodobnost, že děti rodičů s nízkým vzděláním budou opět nevzdělané, je také však v nejednom případě možné, že jejich děti dosáhnou vysokoškolského vzdělání. Je důležité, jaký přístup ke vzdělání mají jejich rodiče. Aby rodiče mohli rozvíjet lidský kapitál...

The Relapse of Drug Additions in the Civic Association Sananim.

This thesis presents the problem of relapse of drug addictions. The relapse is presented as a possible constituent of the treatment of a drug addiction. It is the moment when client uses a drug once or repeatendly during a short time after the particular time of total abstinence. The thesis examines a process of aftercare which engages in relapse prevention. The most important topic is also a cooperation with client's family because of relapse prevention and as a kind of therapy for them in case of relapse their addicted relative. My thesis presents the relapse as a something natural. It doesn't have to be definitive and a client can make a instruction of it and continue in his abstinence successfully. The Prevention of Youth Criminality

This work deals with activities of three projects connected with the prevention of criminality generally and problems of criminality of young people. In the first chapter terms and prevention of criminality are described. The second chapter describes briefly criminality evolution of young people. There are typical characteristics of adolescent's criminality. The third chapter is about the civic association Prak as the example of primary prevention, program Pět P as the example of secondary prevention and tertiary prevention is shown on project Lata. There is the information about their rise, mission and goals and activities. The programs of Prak are for pupils who attend the second grade of basic or special schools and it should reinforce ethical and moral feelings and perception of young people. The main topic is the question of guilt - crime - punishment, the impact prison on human personality, personal moral standards and their creation. The program Pět P is for children between age 8 and 15 years old. They start to meet some volunteer and spend some free time together. It is good for child to have older friend, who can help him/her in difficult life situations. The project Lata is for 15 - 21 years old adults, who are in difficult situations. It can be problem with criminal offences or serious problem...

This graduate work include problems connected with honor crime. The aim of this work is to describe this issue. Here I want to touch upon the reasons of honor crime, I want to show countries, where this problem is common and where it happens often. I would like to show this problem in Europe as well. Also I want to find some decisions how to protect women who have to deal with this issue. I wrote this work according to professional materials, I spoke to a professional who work in this field.
