Unrelated Foster Care
DVOŘÁKOVÁ, Iveta
This work deals with unrelated foster care. The aim is to find out the opinions and experiences of foster parents with unrelated foster care. Two research questions were chosen: 1. "What are the positives of foster care from the point of view of unrelated foster parents?" 2. "What are the negatives of foster care from the point of view of unrelated foster parents?" The work is divided into theoretical and practical part, where in the theoretical part were briefly described the institutes of substitute family care and the issue of foster care. Specifically, the motivation, distribution, benefits, rights and obligations, the mediation process, the termination of foster care, as well as the issue of accompaniment and the activities of social and legal protection bodies for children were described. I worked on the practical part using a qualitative strategy, questioning method and semi-structured interview technique. I conducted interviews with unrelated foster parents, which I addressed on the basis of the snowball sampling method. I evaluated the interviews using the open coding method, on the basis of which I created seven categories. Research has shown that foster parents have both positive and negative experiences with foster care. Based on the evaluated interviews, it was found that the foster care system would need to innovate in some areas. The results of the work can serve as a basis for further research or to improve the foster care system. They can also serve as a study material, but also as a guide for those interested in unrelated foster care.
Human papillomavirus vaccination

Author: Bc. Dvořáková Iveta Title: Human papillomavirus vaccination Diploma thesis Univerzita Karlova v Praze, Farmaceutická fakulta v Hradci Králové Field study: Specialist in laboratory methods Background: The aim of this work is to bring general awareness of cervical cancer, its creator, transmission, symptoms and treatment. It presents information about registered vaccines on the market. The aim of this study is to determine women and girls awareness of vaccination against cervical cancer, and their willingness to be vaccinated. Determine view - gynecologist vaccination against cervical cancer. Main findings: Vaccination against cervical cancer is already included in the vaccination calendar. Not an obligatory vaccination but only as recommended vaccinations for girls between 13 and 14 years. Conclusion: The diploma paper indicates the general awareness of the causative agent, transfer options and the prevention of cervical cancer among girls. The study found that most doctors inform girls and women about the possibility to be vaccinated. Doctors would recommend vaccination for men too. Most mothers are trying to have regular preventive examinations. The study found that most mothers are going to vaccinate their daughters, but they would not get vaccinated. Abiotic Stress Adaptation in Plantago: mechanisms of tolerance
Dvořáková, Iveta ; Konrádová, Hana (advisor) ; Lhotáková, Zuzana (referee)
Plants are exposed to many adverse factors during their life cycles. Abiotic stresses are significantly limiting plant growth and development. Abiotic stress response mechanisms involve compatible solute synthesis (e.g. sugars, sugar alcohols and amino acids). The aim of this study was to characterise the responses of plants from Plantago genus to different abiotic stresses (drought, salinity, cold and stress combination). The complete plants grew under in vitro conditions. I compared morphological parameters, selected metabolic parameters (carbohydrates balance and proline accumulation) under optimal conditions and stress exposure. This study was focused on plants from genus Plantago, because they differ from each other in their tolerance to the salinity. Both, the glycophyte and the halophyte species are described within this genus. Plantains produce besides widespread soluble carbohydrates (sucrose, glucose, fructose) also sugar alcohol sorbitol, which has been reported as a significant component of the stress response. In addition, the reaction of plants to different carbon and energy sources was tested. More severe growth inhibition of the glycophyte Plantago lanceolata compared to the halophyte P. maritima was observed under salt treatment. Significant accumulation of sorbitol was observed...

Sorbitol role in abiotic stress response
Dvořáková, Iveta ; Konrádová, Hana (advisor) ; Janská, Anna (referee)
Many adverse factors affect plants during their life cycle. This bachelor thesis is focused on the influence of abiotic stress on plants. Attention is paid to drought and salinity stresses which are the main causes of osmotic stress, and to the mechanisms which help plants to cope with these adverse factors. Common reaction of plants to osmotic stress is synthesis and accumulation of substances which contribute to keeping cell integrity. These substances are called compatible solutes. This thesis is focused on sorbitol - sugar alcohol belonging to this group of substances. In plants that synthesize sorbitol naturally, it provides advantage under exposure to abiotic stresses as it serves as an osmoticum and/or an osmoprotectant and reduces oxidative stresses. Finally, based on the knowledge about participation of sugar alcohols in the stress reactions, modifications of plant metabolisms potentially increasing stress tolerance are discussed. Detection of Salmonella sp. in biology speciment
Dvořáková, Iveta ; Voxová, Barbora (advisor) ; Drahošová, Marcela (referee)
1 Abstract This study tenders survey laboratory procedures for the establishment of Salmonella in biological material. The work deals with the general characteristics of the genus Salmonella, pathogenesis, symptoms of the disease and treatment. Here are described different culture media, which are reflected in the typical growth of Salmonella. Salmonella is the second most common bacteria causing gastrointestinal disease. It also shows numbers of infected people and the most common serotypes in the Zlín region (2000 - 2012). Another records of Salmonella detection in Czech Republic are matched with the neighboring countries for the period (2000 - 2012). Graphs provide clear occurrence of Salmonella in the Czech Republic and neighboring countries.
Planning, production and distribution in selected company
DVOŘÁKOVÁ, Iveta
The topic of this thesis is "Planning, production and distribution in selected company." The aim of this thesis was to recommend some suggestions which could lead to improvements in the selected company. This thesis is composed of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes the contents of each chapter. This section was written on the basis of domestic and foreign literary sources. This work is focused on analysis of current situation in chosen company for the calendar year 2015 in section of production, planning, capacity utilization, material and information flow, distribution and new product development. At the end of the practical part are recommended the proposals for improvement.
Human capital, investment and financing of education.
DVOŘÁKOVÁ, Iveta
This bachelor thesis is focused on analysing of situation of education in 10 different companies in the Czech Republic. Companies which were described in this project are from transport sector, manufacturing, banking, food production and trade. A part of this work is questionnaire, which asked representatives of these companies to answer at many questions. Here are examples of questions: How much is the cost of education for one employee in education proces? Which ways of education are used in your company? Are you test your employees after education process? After that were all informations summarized and this work try to describe trends of education in selected companies.
Magic of writing word
DVOŘÁKOVÁ, Iveta
Thesis magic of the written word is concerned with the changing letters in historical context. It is divided into two parts. The theoretical part informs about the development and use of fonts, writing techniques and cultural influences. It also describes the types described that most influenced the view of the future font. The practical part shows a set of twelve ceramic wall reliefs. Individual reliefs represent the most significant architect in writing and given time stage. The layout concept is based on the perception of the general public.
