CoreXY 3D printer
Doubrava, Jan ; Zuth, Daniel (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of 3D printers, namely the kinematic type of CoreXY. It includes an overview of basic 3D printing technologies and introduces the Fused Deposition Modeling technology. It also deals with the most used materials for this technology. There are types of 3D printer constructions and components described. The design and the model are created in the Autodesk Inventor modeling software. The work contains a description of the realization and is completed by the evaluation.
Příprava náhrady souboru ochran řady SPACOM za terminály RELION řady 650 nebo 670 na jaderné elektrárně Temelín
DOUBRAVA, Jan
The thesis deals with the replacement of SPACOM protective system with new RELION series terminals. SPACOM protection sets have been discontinued and the manufacturer is discontinuing their support (i.e. discontinuation of deliveries of complete devices from warehouses and discontinuation of repairs and spare parts), which means that it is necessary to replace these protection sets with available devices. I have chosen RELION terminals from the same manufacturer as a possible replacement. These have a number of advantages over the now obsolete SPACOM protectors. The main advantage is the much larger range of protection functions available and the free programmability of these functions as well as the binary inputs and outputs. Other advantages are the possibility of complete control of a given outlet directly from the terminal, the recording of changes in inputs, outputs and states of protection functions, the recording of analogue and state values during faults on the power equipment, the permanent measurement of power analogue and state values during faults on the power equipment, the permanent measurement of power analogue values and time synchronisation and the transfer of all information to a higher-level control or information system, in our case to the NEMES system, where this information is archived and can be traced back. The terminal also performs a check wether the on and off paths, are closed which provides a better overview of the status and readiness of the switch. A significant advantage is also the considerable reduction of the number of other devices (power, auxiliary, time and special relays, transmitters, etc.) and thus the reduction of their possible failures. The theoretical part deals with the description of individual sets of protectors and terminals, their protective and other functions and their use. In the practical part, the desing of the logic of new terminals for use in the actual replacement is elaborated. In the final part of the thesis the pros and cons of each set of protections and terminals is summarized and a suitable option for the replacement of SPACOM protection sets is recommended. Here, the functional characteristics of the terminals is taken into account as well as the operational requirements and the economic aspect. The aim of this work is to prepare the basis for the replacement of the protections at the nuclear plant, which is necessary from the point of view of further long term operation. Furthermore, it can help in the preparation of both the tender and the implementation documentation, and it can also help to prepare for the replacement itself, which due to the outage schedule, is always essentially limited in time.
Pricing of interest rate derivatives and calibration issues in a multi-factor LIBOR market model framework
Doubrava, Jan ; Dědek, Oldřich (advisor)
Financial derivatives are financial instruments which enable investor or a debtor to optimize his/her asset/debt portfolios according to individual needs and acceptable scale of risk. Their importance in financial markets rose enormously n past ten years as well as did their traded volumes. Interest rate derivatives form a large sub-group of financial derivatives, their valuation is a large self-contained chapter within financial mathematics thanks to the unique characteristics of yield- and discount-curve dynamics. In the first part of my thesis I derive the fundamental pricing principles stemming from no- arbitrage pricing theory and introduce the most common approaches in yield curve modeling. In the second part I discuss issues of calibration in a "LIBOR Market Model" with one to three risk factors. These models are used to price swaptions with Monte Carlo simulation within the no-arbitrage framework introduced in the first part. The result of the thesis is that one factor model performs the best in pricing swaptions. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Evaluating of SLA in HP Quality Center
Doubrava, Jan ; Pour, Jan (advisor) ; Vacek, Martin (referee)
The objective of this thesis is to propose and describe the database, which enables to measure compliance of Service Level Agreement suppliers of software applications that work with HP Quality Center. The work describes specific solution used in project to implement a new core business system, describes requirements for functionality and use of result the solution. Briefly described is also HP Quality Center, the testing tool, from which are taken the input data and what possibility offers for monitoring the SLA. The proposed database allows calculation of the time which is actually spent by suppliers on solving the errors and comparison of calculated time with the defined SLA. It will also describe how to import data into the database and the basic reports, which are usable after implementation of the proposed solution.
Comparison of Microsoft licensing models
Doubrava, Jan ; Bruckner, Tomáš (advisor) ; Žamberský, Martin (referee)
The objective of this thesis is to compare methods of acquisition of IT infrastructure midsize company. The comparison should indicate which variant is less financially demanding and what the advantages and disadvantages for the company can deliver two ways of acquisition the solutions - purchase and lease of the SPLA. The comparison will also include a hardware part of IT infrastructure. Both variants will be compared on the example of a company whose software part of the infrastructure is implemented with Microsoft products. The comparison will be made on the basis of data provided for that purpose by companies engaged in IT outsourcing and rental licenses and hardware. The work will be divided into several parts, in which are defined terms, described the parameters of comparison, described specific variants of comparison and compare themselves with the evaluation of variants.
