Bibliographic record: CHALUPOVÁ, A. The use of kinesio tape and its influence on a muscular activity of a shoulder girdle of volleyball players. Prague, 2013, 90 s. Master thesis, Charles University in Prague, 2nd Faculty of Medicine, supervisor Mgr. Petra Valouchová, Ph.D. Abstract: In sport a kinesio taping is an often used method during a therapy of musculoskeletal system. Among its effects are counted a correction of muscular and articular functions, a rise of blood and lymph circulation, a kinesthesia improvement and a pain reduction. The aim of my thesis was to find out, whether the kinesiotaping influences the muscular activity of a shoulder girdle of volleyball players. A unilateral load of volleyball players predisposes them to suffer from patokinesiology changes especially in the area of a shoulder girdle of a dominant upper limb. In my research sample there were 15 active volleyball players without any urgent affection of musculoskeletal system. I have used a form of case history to compile one volleyball player with an impengement syndrome of shoulder girdle. Using a surface electromyography MYOSystem 1400A (Noraxon U.S.A.) there was recorded an activity of selected muscles of a shoulder girdle, in addition rectus abdominis and m.erctor spinae during two resting positions and five dynamic...
Analysis of the European Commission's Position after the First Eastern Enlargement within the Inter-Institutional Framework
Chalupová, Andrea ; Plechanovová, Běla (advisor) ; Řiháčková, Věra (referee)
The master thesis deals with the European Commission's position after the first Eastern enlargement in 2004 within the inter-institutional framework. The thesis analyses relations between the Commission, the Council and the European Parliament, providing a comprehensive assessment of the legislative co-decision procedure as well as raising questions about the Commission's new position. The thesis contains a new quantitative comparative analysis of the co-decision procedure as well as the evaluation of the findings. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

The work concern about spiritual needs of hospitalized clients, demonstrate importance their satisfying, study presence of nursing diagnosis from spiritual sphere, influence at go through illness and quality live of client. The targets of theoretical part of work: - define name of spiritual, approximate two her dimension; - show difference between spirituality and religion; - describe rule of spiritual didactics; - chart spiritual needs with relation into nursing process; - characterize age category close to examine amount of clients; - pick up the Christian's conception illness and suffering; - offer resources which we have disposal at talking with client; - describe what positively or negative affects quality of client's live. The targets of empirical part of work: - map spiritual needs of clients with connection of illness; - find out changes in hierarchy spiritual neccesary of clients and other needs (before beginning of illness, after specify of diagnosis and during therapy, in terminal stage); - describe and analysis meet/dissatisfy spiritual needs of clients; - find out if age influence of saturation spiritual needs; - catch presence of nursing diagnosis in sphere of spiritual. Final part assess all task, marks out significance of spiritual needs and their monitoring by medical personnel.
Results of one-sided endurance of a kinetic apparatus in volleyball players and possibilities of a therapy
CHALUPOVÁ, Andrea
The one-sided load of volleyball players leads to occurence of pathokinesiologic changes of the locomotive system. The objective of the bachelor thesis is to ascertain whether volleyball players suffer from locomotive system disorders due to the one-sided overload and whether it is possible to make up a uniform compensatory set of exercises as a therapy. The objective of the theoretical part is to ascertain what functional disorders of the body system occur in connection with the one-sided load of volleyball players, what muscular dysbalances accompany the disorders and what physiotherapeutic procedures can influence them. The objective of the practical part is to use the obtained theoretical findings as the basis for making-up a set of compensatory exercises as a proposed therapy applied within the scope of case reports. The practical part involved a qualitative research using the techniques of interviews and observation, and included two case reports of randomly selected professional volleyball players. Examination of the probands has confirmed the one-sided load of the locomotive system manifested in insufficiency of the deep stabilization system and functional disorders in the area of the shoulder joint. Focused on activation of the deep stabilization system and including shoulder-blade stabilization features, two individual therapeutic plans were made up and undertaken by both the probands in accordance with the charakter of the specific movement activity of volleyball players. The final examination has shown objective improvement of the function of the posture stabilization system of one of the men. Activation of the deep stabilization system with stabilization of the shoulder joint within the specific movement activities of volleyball players appears to be a suitable basis of the compensatory exercises preventing the one-sided load of the locomotive system. The therapy requires an individual approach. For further research in this area I propose measurement of the muscular actvity by means of electromyography and focusing on co-activation of stabilizers of the shoulder joint within the specific movement activity of volleyball players.
