Pendulum excitation
Vrána, Jiří ; Březina, Lukáš (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis is focused on creating a model situation of excited pendulum with one degree of freedom that oscillates in both linear and nonlinear condition. The theoretical part describes several basic concepts of oscillation theory and states some examples of pendulum applicability. The practical part consists assembling of motion equations of model situations, based on which simulations programs are created. The thesis contains also concept of practical use of the nonlinear pendulum model.
Overview of methods for person identification using image processing
Palacka, Martin ; Březina, Lukáš (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with an overview of methods for person identification using image processing. The beginning of thesis is dedicated to the theoretical study of the skin segmentation method, its algorithm and different color spaces, which are used for identification by this method. The next algorithm is a method called boosted cascade of simple features, while focusing on description of this method, an OpenCV library, computing algorithm, image interpretation by integral image and speed of computation which is reached. The next chapter describes the PCA method, the principles of working, a description of the mathematical model, a study of gender recognition, the results and troubleshooting. The last described methods are fusion of facial strips and pixel patern based texture feature. At the end of this thesis there is the tested application of person identification and gender recognition and the results of the success of methods.
Online detection of simple voice commands in audiosignal
Zezula, Miroslav ; Březina, Lukáš (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis describes the development of voice module, that can recognize simple speech commands by comparation of input sound with recorded templates. The first part of thesis contains a description of used algorithm and a verification of its functionality. The algorithm is based on Mel-frequency cepstral coefficients and dynamic time warping. Thereafter the hardware of voice module is designed, containing signal controller 56F805 from Freescale. The signal from microphone is conditioned by operational amplifiers and digital filter. The third part deals with the development of software for the controller and describes the fixed point implementation of the algorithm, respecting limited capabilities of the controller. Final test proves the usability of voice module in low-noise environment.
Utilization of carbon fibre for construction of elastic elements of mountain bike rear triangle
Linda, Jakub ; Švancara, Pavel (referee) ; Březina, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to design a carbon elastic element in the suspension mechanism of the rear wheel of a mountain bike. The elastic element will replace the rotary link and its deformation will allow movement of the rear wheel suspension mechanism. At the beginning, the thesis deals with the theoretical introduction to bicycle geometry, types of rear wheel suspension mechanisms and their characteristics. Later on, the work is devoted to composite materials in general, and it also deals with methods of manufacturing a composite bicycle frame and deals with the mechanics of composites. Further, the thesis is focused on the research of already existing frames utilizing the flexible element in the suspension mechanism of the rear wheel. Finally, the work focuses on the design of a full-suspension bicycle using a flexible element, justifies the choice of the replaced suspension mechanism and also justifies the individual simplifying assumptions and their impact on the solution. The elastic element is analyzed for deformations and stresses in the Ansys software. Finally, the results of the analysis and recommendations are presented.
Object tracking in videofeed
Klvaňa, Marek ; Březina, Lukáš (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is a description and implementation of algorithms of the tracked objects in the video feed. This thesis introduces Mean shift and Continuously adaptive mean shift algorithms which represent category based on kernel tracking. For construction of a model is used a threedimensional color histogram whose construction is described in this thesis as well. The achievements of described algorithms are compared in the testing images sequences and evaluated in details.
Mechanical construction of hydraulics arm
Vodrážka, Jakub ; Březina, Lukáš (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with design of a hydraulics arm. The main purpose of this hydraulics arm is the possibility to use it in education project which is a part of hydraulics systems lessons. This arm consists from few parts which are connected together by rotary joints. This arm is actuated by linear hydromotors, furthermore there is a magnetic position sensor. Autodesk Inventor 2008 was used during the arm design process. There are three main parts in this work. First part deals with fluids systems, the second part shows the position sensor properties and the last part presents some cases of arm design with deformation verify. A lot of supplement is presented at the end of this work as pictures of the model of the arm or pictures of some parts of the model.
Test of Vibration Power Generator with Transversal Coil
Drbohlav, Jan ; Březina, Lukáš (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work deals with the installation and testing the parameters of the electromagnetic vibration generator, designing of construction modifications and creating numerical model describing responses of generator in MATLAB Simulink.
Experimental analysis of a fixed beam dynamic behavior
Poduška, Jan ; Houfek, Lubomír (referee) ; Březina, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with analysis of dynamic behavior of a fixed beam. An analysis of the applied mathematical model is proposed in the work. The mathematical model is then realized in MATLAB programming environment. Modal frequencies and mode shapes are con- sequently computed and results are compared to those obtained from the experimental modal analysis.
Virtual prototype of mechatronic system
Dinga, Milan ; Březina, Lukáš (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with modeling of delta 3D printer virtual prototype and its co-simulation using software ADAMS and MATLAB/SIMULINK. The first part consists of virtual model creation and its kinematic analysis. Then a model of electric motors is created. The final part consists of co-simulation and control design.
Redesign of mechatronic system for presentation of damped oscillation
Hanuška, Rostislav ; Březina, Lukáš (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with mechatronic system design intended for demonstration of oscillation with electromagnetic damping for the purpose of its practical use in classes. A part of this thesis is also introduction to issues related to solids vibration and damping. Then a simulation model will be created in MATLAB/Simulink where required parameters of the damper will be selected, and also there is a design of the whole system. Finally, a comparison of response to initial deflection to real fabricated construction.
