Eeconomic consequences of Brexit
Sinkovskaya, Kristina ; Müller, Karel (advisor) ; Bobková, Eva (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the following issues: Which member states of the EU are the most connected to the UK economy, how leaving the EU will affect the UK economic situation, how actually strong the relations between the EU and the UK are and to what extent the UK departure from the EU will affect both sides. Since this is a very extensive topic and to date, there are hundreds of opinions, researches and prognoses on how Brexit will influence economy and political and social life at both supranational and national level, I have narrowed down my thesis to assessment of the following indicators: business, investments, budget, institutional representation and post-Brexit fate of EU and UK citizens. The thesis is divided in four chapters. The first chapter represents the historical development of the UK relationships with the EU and the second chapter explains the circumstances of a member state leaving the EU. Chapters three and four include the models of the UK economic relationships and economic development of the EU, EU member states and the UK until Brexit. Economic and political news articles, statistical data and analytical works of leading experts in this field were used in the thesis.

Dvořáková, Denisa ; Vymětal, Petr (advisor) ; Bobková, Eva (referee)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the topic of the Association of regions of the Czech Republic. It deals primarily with the cooperation of this organization with the public sphere and its legislative initiative. In this thesis I'm looking for the answer to the question of whether the Association of regions of the Czech Republic have an impact from the position which is interest association of legal persons on the adoption of legislative proposals and the creation of laws. Association of regions of the Czech Republic in contrast to the Association of municipalities and cities of the Czech Republic, currently does not have the right of legislative initiative, still it tries to promote their interests, whether it is the submission of legislative proposals through its members, or about the negotiations with the Government. In some cases there are not the comments of the Association of regions of the Czech Republic accepted, although it may be tampered with the law on the autonomy of regions, as it was in the case of the adoption of Act No. 245/2006 about public non-profit institutional health facilities.

Heading for a personal union? Current development of decentralization in Belgium
Hudcová, Nikola ; Němec, Jan (advisor) ; Bobková, Eva (referee)
This thesis deals with the process of decentralization in Belgium. There live two dominant nationalities - Flemings and Walloons in the country. Their disputes influenced the constitutional development of Belgium and culminated in the transformation of a unitary state to a federation. Despite the formation of the federation and constitutional changes, the relationship between Flemings and Walloons is tense and unresolved, there is still the pressure to further decentralization. After the elections to the Parliament of Belgium in 2010, there was a political crisis in Belgium. The winning parties were unable to form a coalition government throughout the 541 days. As a result of this crisis constitutional changes, which led to decentralization were adopted. The aim of my thesis is to determine if the country is heading to become a personal union.
Party system stability and instability
Pelíšková, Dana ; Němec, Jan (advisor) ; Bobková, Eva (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with party system stability and its aim is to verify the hypothesis, that the countries with the longest continuity of the political regime prove the highest level of party system stability. The author tries to confirm this hypothesis by analysing the party system stability in six chosen cases, which include the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Portugal, Spain, Austria and Germany. To confirm the hypothesis the author use qualitative and quantitative analysis based on the concept that focuses on relations between political parties, structure of party competition and patterns of coalition formation. This approach defines the party system stability by setting four criterions: frequency of government alternation, type of government alternation, innovation of governing formulas and access of political parties to government. The thesis analyses according to this concept the party systems of the six states in the term 1993-2013 and also covers the historical context of party systems development in the selected cases from the end of the World War II. The author stresses in the whole thesis the case of the Czech Republic.

Doležalová, Dominika ; Dvořáková, Vladimíra (advisor) ; Bobková, Eva (referee)
The objective of this thesis lies in analyzing the contemporary political situation in Quebec, in the light of the possibility of the Quebec secession from Canada. In the thesis four research questions were specified. The main question will assess what are the actual solutions to the current status of Quebec. This question is connected with three sub-questions. Will be held a referendum on Quebec independence? Does the eventual referendum have a chance of successful result? The last question is looking for an answer whether the territorial autonomy strengthens the integrity of Canada or rather strengthens the nationalist movements. The work is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with the definition of the cardinal expressions and definitions of multi-ethnic coexistence issues, ethnic conflict and its solutions. The second chapter describes the transformation of the constitutional status of Canada and Quebec within Canada. The final part analyzes the nationalist movements, the success of Quebec political parties and the position of the separatist Quebec Party.
