Implementation of a deep learning model for vertebral segmentation in CT data

This paper deals with the problem of vertebral segmentationin CT data with the use of deep learning approaches.Automatic segmentation of vertebrae is a very complex issueand would simplify the work of radiologists and doctors. Thepaper is focused on one of the models published and submittedto the Large Scale Vertebrae Segmentation Challenge (VerSe) in2020 from C. Payer et al. – Improving Coarse to Fine VertebraeLocalisation and Segmentation with SpatialConfiguration-Netand U-Net and its implementation and modification. The modelis evaluated on the corresponding public and hidden dataset. Itsmodification shows an improvement of the results in comparisonwith the published results, a mean Dice score improved from0.9165 to 0.9302 on the public dataset and from 0.8971 to 0.9264on the hidden dataset.

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the problem of vertebrae segmentation in CT data with the use of deep learning. Firstly, there is a theoretical review focused on the anatomy and the pathologies of the spine and the vertebrae, the CT systems, and the deep learning models for vertebrae segmentation in 3D data. The following section contains a more detailed description of the chosen model. The fifth section describes the implementation of the chosen model and the proposed modification, together with the results on the relevant database. In the end, the model with the modification is used on the clinical data provided by the supervisor and its evaluation is described.

A mortgage loan is the most frequent way of financing the acquisition of real estate. This bachelor thesis deals with the problematics of acquiring a mortgage loan and its exploitation with a focus on the lien. It deals with taxes related to acquiring, owning, and selling real estate. It also describes new legislation, which allowed to postpone repayments within the scope of the legal moratorium. A questionnaire survey was conducted to institutions and users of mortgage loans in the region Pelhřimovsko with the goal of confirming four hypotheses. These hypotheses are focused on mortgage loans and lien connected to them. This questionnaire is focused on these loans during the coronavirus crisis, law during this crisis and it describes the influence of these changes on mortgage loans.

Wax-craft of Příbram district in social and cultural context

Wax-craft used to be a special craft which concerns processing of beeswax. Waxchandlers manufactured many sorts of candles - Passion candles, Christmas candles, many kinds of souvenirs, devotional articles, oblations, fancy goods, flowers or statuettes from beeswax, moreover, they produced soaps, perfumary etc. Wax-craft expended in Příbram during the 17th and 18th centuries through the proximity of very famous Holly Mountain, a pilgrimage place with the Baroque basilica and the wooden statue of Virgin Maria which took its origin in the 14th century. However, first written documents about this kind of craft in Příbram come from the year 1703 and they are connected with the first wax-chandler Jakub Brod. The period of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries is the best known part of Příbram's wax-craft history. The interest of wax-chandlers was concentrated on pilgrimage goods, nevertheless it's possible to presuppose this trend earlier, too. It is interesting to study the ways of production in wax-chandler's workshop on the basis of Anna Čížková (died in 2004), whose father Augustin Čížek was one of the last waxchandlers in Příbram. Methods of Variance Estimation for Statistical Estimators

This thesis describes and compares some of commonly used methods of variance estimation of various statistics for dependent data. In case of stationary sequences, OBS, jackknife, moving block bootstrap and plug-in estimates that use information from time series theory are implemeted. The estimators are compared according to their mean squared errors. In case of variance estimation of sample mean for finite sample size is its exact value determined by a theoretical formula. Mean squared errors of variance estimators of sample variance and sample mean are based on simulation. Methods employed in case of spatial data in Zdor Rd are represented by subsampling or generalized moving block bootstrap as well as by the estimate based on autocovariance function estimation. Theoretical asymptotical properties of different variance estimators usually require additional assumptions such as mixing conditions.
