Efficient security of modern low-power wireless communication technologies
Blažek, Vojtěch ; Malina, Lukáš (referee) ; Fujdiak, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with communication security in Sigfox networks. That includes studying the network’s parameters and capabilities and then analysing the appropriate cryptosystems. The thesis contains a description of cryptography as such and a description of cryptosystems that could be implemented in end devices. From the selected cryptosystems, three of the most appropriate are selected based on the required properties, which are put into practice on the Arduino-based development kit and then experimental measurements are made to determine the basic features of the device.
Sporttester with Bluetooth LE
Blažek, Vojtěch ; Komosný, Dan (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of a sporttester, which is a device capable of calculating the cadence of the taken steps and monitoring the impact force of foot on the ground while running. Exposure to long-term strong impacts while running can cause serious fatigue fractures of the hip, calf bone or the foot area. The purpose of the sporttester is to monitor and signal strong impacts to the runner, thus helping to prevent fatigue fractures. The aforementioned features are evaluated based on the change in acceleration measured by the accelerometer. The calculated values of step cadence, running speed and impact force are sent via Bluetooth Low Energy to a compatible mobile application.
Biometric testing in the study of cognitive load in the ArcGIS StoryMaps environment
BLAŽEK, Vojtěch
The main focus of the present dissertation is a detailed analysis of how students interact with the ArcGIS StoryMaps web mapping application using biometric testing methods. The choice of this topic is related to the development and greater involvement of digital technologies in education, which was accelerated by the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. The impact of digital technologies on contemporary society has caused a new industrial revolution 4.0, where most work processes are becoming automated, and computer controlled. This trend is reflected in curriculum reforms around the world. A common feature of curriculum reforms is the introduction of digital competencies and a change in the way we view the teaching of computer science. These changes transfer some of the requirements in the area of digital competences to other subjects, including geography. The introductory theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the transformation of curriculum documents and the development of GIS, including its relation to geographic education in the perspective of the 21st century. An integral part is a summary of the existing knowledge in the field of cognitive load, including the possibilities of its measurement. The analytical part of the thesis focuses on the evaluation of data measured by the Gazepoint system.
Liability of the employee for damage
Blažek, Vojtěch ; Bělina, Miroslav (advisor) ; Štefko, Martin (referee)
The thesis deals with institution of liability of the employee for damage caused to employer. I proceed from the theoretical groundings, over the characteristic of labour-law liability to the analysis of the types of employee's liability for damage. Legal regulation is contained in Act No. 262/2006 Coll., the Labour code, as later amended. The Labour code recognizes general type of liability and three special types of liability - employee's liability for failure to fullfill his duty to prevent rise of damage, liability for the deficit on the values entrusted to the employee and finally liability of the employee for the loss of items entrusted to him. The thesis uses relevant judicial decisions. Considerations on the future amendments aren't neglected.
Sporttester With Bluetooth Le

This project deals with the design of a sporttester, which is able to measure the cadence of steps and the impact force during running. The measured values are then sent via Bluetooth Low Energy to the mobile application.

The subsidiarity principle of the Civil Code in relation to the Labour Code and some of its particular effects on labour relations
Blažek, Vojtěch ; Morávek, Jakub (referee) ; Hůrka, Petr (referee)
The thesis is focused on the relation between labour law and civil law in the Czech Republic. The relationship between the Labour Code, No. 262/2006 Coll., as amended, and the Civil Code, No. 89/2012 Coll., as amended, is currently based on the subsidiarity principle which is legally defined in the Section 4 of the Labour Code. The principle of subsidiarity has been applied in the present relationship since 2008 when The Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic cancelled the previous method of mutual relationship which was based on the delegation principle. The effects of the subsidiarity principle were influenced by the recodification of the private law during which the new Civil Code came into legal force on 1.1.2014. Concurrently the Labour Code was amended by the Act No. 303/2013 Coll. which implemented some of the changes arising with the recodification of the private law. The first chapter is devoted to the historical development of the relationship between labour law and civil law. The attention is paid manly to the period after 1989 when it was necessary to restore the links between the labour law and civil law which were shattered by the communist doctrine. The second chapter is concerned with the subsidiarity method itself. The third chapter is devoted to the status of the natural...
