Brožová, Eva ; Satrapová, Lenka (advisor) ; Biskup, Šimon (referee)
Title of thesis: The case study of physiotherapeutical treatment of a patient with diagnosis of Vertebrogenic algic syndrome of lumbar spine with defect statics and dynamics of the spine Aim: The aim of thesis is summary of theoretical findings, then study methodology purposes physiotherapy care, proposal of therapy and monitoring of therapy in patients with diagnosis of Vertebrogenic algic syndrome of lumbar spine with defect statics and dynamics of the spine. Methods: This bachelor's thesis was compiled on the base of internship on the Faculty's hospital Královské Vinohrady during the time period from 23. 1. 2017 - 17. 2. 2017. This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is concerned with theoretical findings related to this diagnosis. The second, special part encompasses case report of a patient with diagnosis Vertebrogenic algic syndrome of lumbar spine with defect statics and dynamics of the spine. Results: In the first part it was managed to create theoretical knowledge of the issue. Success of therapy from the second part was confirmed by the output kinesiology analysis. The positive effects of therapeutic units are already visible subjective sensations and the pain reduction of patients. On the examinations results, we can see the improvement from input kinesiology analysis. Key...

Title: The case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with The Postpoliomyelitic syndrome Objective: Summarization of theoretical knowledge concerning The Postpoliomyelitic syndrome. Preparation of case study of a patient suffering The Postpoliomyelitic syndrome, followed by appraisal of the therapy's effects. Methods: The Theoretical Part is concerned with The Postpoliomyelitic syndrome's theme, namely with its possible cause of the syndrome, clinical features and options of therapeutic approaches. The Special Part of Bachelor Thesis presents case study of female patient in the course of particular therapies, and overall therapy's effect. Results: Physiotherapeutic care of the patient was observed to be helpful and positive results were reached not only in the objective, but also in subjective way. As the most effective is considered respiratory physiotherapy especially for activation of stabilizing muscles of the spine, then soft tissue techniques and positive thermotherapy. The reduction of muscle dysbalance was achieved, also as improvement of decompensation of scoliosis and stability. These improvements affected gait stereotype positively. Conclusion: The cooperation with patients suffering the postpoliomyelitic syndrome demands daily care of medical start, and primarily, active...

Case Study of a physiotherapy treatment of a patient after total hip replacement
Havlíčková, Barbora ; Malá, Jitka (advisor) ; Biskup, Šimon (referee)
The bachelor's thesis consists of two parts. The general part includes anatomy and kinesiology of the hip joint and also the topic of coxarthrosis as the most common reason for the total hip replacement surgery. An integral part of this part is the elaboration of a rehabilitation plan for patients undergoing such procedure. The practical part of the thesis is conceived a case study of a patient after total hip replacement because of coxarthrosis. Finally, the thesis includes the therapeutic outcome as the therapy efficiency is evaluated through the comparison of the input and output kinesiology analysis.
Case study of physiotherapy treatment of the patient after Surgery of Disc Herniation.
Paseleková, Michala ; Jalovcová, Miroslava (advisor) ; Biskup, Šimon (referee)
Author: Michala Paseleková Work title: Casuistry of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient recovering from intervertebral disc prolapse surgery The aim of this thesis is to make a comprehensive view on the surgery of intervertebral disc L4/L5 prolapse, follow-up rehabilitation, and also to familiarize with the theoretical knowledge of this issue. The presented data were gained from the contiguous practical training experience in Faculty Hospital Královské Vinohrady in Prague at the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, where I processed the casuistry of a patient with this disorder. The practice took place under the expert guidance of Eva Konečná and Mgr. Šimon Biskup during the period from 24.1.2011 to 18.2.2011. I used the processing of case study dealing with the surgery of intervertebral disc L4/L5 prolapse, and matters related to this issue. The result is a clarification of the operational solution of intervertebral disc prolapse and problems associated with this disorder, including follow-up rehabilitation treatment. Keywords: Physiotherapy, Intervertebral disc, Prolapse, Peroneal paresis

Visual Examination of Posture in Physiotherapy, with Special Focus on Evaluation ofStrain Test Phases
Biskup, Šimon ; Šafářová, Marcela (referee) ; Pelc, Tomáš (advisor)
The examination of the function of body posture is one of the basic examinations of musculoskeletal system. Clinically, the initial examination is visual and summarized by a description. A number of other evaluation methods have been developed to allow for more objective assessment. These methods of examination can be divided into the following categories based on their approach: somatoscopic, somatometric and somatographic. Most of these methods, however, only evaluate posture based on the standing position and their evaluation criteria can be problematic and disputable. The goal of the practical part of our work was to study the possibility of evaluating posture using a newly emerging method: "Stress posture testing" (SPT), which has a very different approach than the usual methods. This method was developed at the Department of Rehabilitation and Sport Medicine of the Teaching Hospital in Motol as part of the long-term research project, which focused on late consequences of the Wilms kidney tumor treatment. SPT evaluates posture based on monitoring asymmetries in postural strategies aligning themselves with the selected more demanding postures; these are documented by a photo camera. We studied the ability of both one and several evaluators to consistently visually evaluate the same subjects using SPT...
