The Use of Stories in the Language Teaching at the Primary School

The diploma thesis is focused on the use of stories in language teaching in primary school, especially the Czech language. The theoretical part contains basic information about the method of telling stories, storytelling, its possible use in the Czech language and experience with this method in teaching the English language. To work with stories in Czech language classes, the storytelling method is included in the Framework Educational Program for basic education, both in terms of student outcomes and competencies that could be developed in classes using storytelling. The work is devoted to the process of selecting and creating a story, its placement in children's literature and the criteria that should be met for the story to be accepted by pupils. The space is dedicated to the application itself in the teaching unit and to the offer of specific methods and exercises enabling the inclusion of storytelling in teaching. The work deals with the very process of creating a story based on the listed words for the 4th grade, describing the progress of the teaching unit as well as the reaction of the pupils in the lesson, and the preparation of the control test and evaluation. Initiation sacraments in canonical and liturgical law

The Church sanctifies the world primarily by celebrating the liturgy and administering the sacraments. In the Catholic Church, we distinguish seven sacraments instituted by Jesus Christ. The thesis discusses the so-called initiation sacraments, baptism, confirmation and the Eucharist. Their acceptance is required in the case of repeated reception of the Eucharist for full initiation into the Christian life. The most sublime Eucharist is the source and at the same time the peak of all our actions. The thesis refers to both the biblical/historical roots and particularly to the current canonical and liturgical practice of administering initiation sacraments from the point of view of the canon law of the Latin Church (CIC/1983), the canon law of the churches of the Eastern Rite sui iuris (CCEO), official liturgical books (e.g., General Instruction of the Roman Missal) and other documents of the magisterium and relevant church authority concerning the liturgy.

Psychosocial Issues of Prostitution

Presented master' s thesis "Psychosocial problems of the prostitution" inquires into specific aspects of this socialy pathological phenomenon. Whole study includes theoretical and practical part. Opening chapters of the theoretical part present the definition of prostitution and the summary of its specifics, moreover they concern the theory of causes of prostitution and its transformation during the history. Following chapters present different forms of prostitution, including the characteristic of some of them, and above all they talk about the psychological and social aspects of causes, which bring a woman to practise the prostitution, about the selfperception of women-prostitute and about her relationship with her partner or family. The work covers also some negative social factors of prostitution such as the spread of venereal deseases or the connection with the organised crime. In addition in includes the possibilities of the government to solve the problem of prostitution and it summarizes the evolution of juridical situation in Czech Republic during the 20th century. Theme "water" in legends of pilgrimage places

The thesis deals with the issues of selected pilgrimage places of the České Budějovice diocese, such as Dobrá Voda near České Budějovice and Dobrá Voda near Nové Hrady. It sees the phenomenon of pilgrimage and the symbolism of water in Sacred Scripture and in Christianity itself. It distinguishes between normative and living religions, with a focus on the person of the Virgin Mary. The private revelation of God's mother was associated with the discovery of a spring of healing water. The work follows the emergence and development of selected pilgrimage places, it also deals with contemporary spiritual life in both places.

Corporate Culture as an Motivation Factor

The objective of this dissertation was to analyze the corporate culture with the help of specification its decisive cultural dimensions and to propose changes leading to the desired state of the corporate culture, which should serve as a motivational factor. This dissertation is divided into two parts. The first part of the dissertation analyzes theoretical knowledge from li-terary sources, which are essential to realizing the significance of the investigated phenomena. The second part con-tains an analysis of the corporate culture as a motivational factor based on the literary sources and then proposes the necessary changes that would lead to the desired state.

Corporate Culture in a Chosen Company

The thesis concentrates on characterizing and analyzing the corporate culture in a selected corporation. The dimensions of the corporate culture were acquired by means of the VSM 94 questionnaire and extended by observations. The theoretical part of the work deals with the definition of the notion of corporate culture and its conception from Geert Hofstede point of view. The subsequent case study was realised in the practical part. This part was based on the existing corporate culture of the chosen company. It examined the causes and the current state of the present-day corporate situation.The main aim was to recommend the company the necessary steps to produce and maintain required changes by improving the current practice.
