Myth of P. Antonín Koniáš and its changes
Zaměření disertační práce odpovídá i její struktura. Uvedená tematika je sledována na pozadí proměn české společnosti od doby baroka po současnost, přičemž hlavní pozornost je soustředěna...
Simulation of communication part of modern industrial networks
Beneš, Pavel ; Blažek, Petr (referee) ; Fujdiak, Radek (advisor)
The thesis is focused on simulating of protocols from standard IEC 61850 in simulation tool OMNeT++. The theoretical part in the thesis deals with description of the field of operating technologies, supervisory control and data acquisition and protocols Tase-2/ICCP, IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104, DNP 3 and DLMS/COSEM. Next part deals with parameters influencing connection and description of simulation tools NS2/NS3, OPNET and OMNeT++. In the practical part there is created a network containing protocols from the standard IEC 61850 in the simulation program OMNeT++. Then in the network a end to end delay and packet loss with increasing traffic is measured.
Starring - Oxygen: Proposal and Evaluation of an Inquiry Activity
Kuncová, Lucie ; Rusek, Martin (advisor) ; Beneš, Pavel (referee)
This diploma thesis focuses on verifying the proposed inquiry-based activity and comparing its effectiveness with a traditionally concieved theme for experimental activity of pupils with the same topic. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the role of experimental activities in Czech schools, their options, helpful equipment and generally inquiry-based teaching. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the verification of the proposed research activity in comparison with traditionally concieved experimental activity. The traditionally concieved activity was taken from the website of the company Vernier, the research activity was created by modifying these tasks. The proposed research activity consists of two logically connected tasks. The aim of this thesis was to design and verify research activity based on experimental activities and to compare the internal motivation of pupils in performing research-oriented and clasically concieved activities. The pupils worked in groups that were created based on the pupils' preferred themes. For comparison purposes, the groups were divided into two research halves and each half used a different approach. The Intrinsic Motivation Inventory (IMI) and group conversation were used to evaluate the affective area. The benefit in the cognitive area...
Communications Technology Internet Of Things In Cisco Packet Tracer
Beneš, Pavel
This work is aimed at simulating the Internet of Things in Packet Tracer. In this work, a network containing IoT devices is created in the Packet Tracer simulation program. In the network, the parameters affecting the quality of the network are subsequently monitored, depending on the number of connected devices, and these measured values are subsequently evaluated.
Music in the TV news Coverage in Czech Republic
Smolková, Josefina ; Lokšík, Martin (advisor) ; Beneš, Pavel (referee)
This thesis deals with the question how music is used and how often in the news report of Czech TV stations. It also presents findings of musical psychology, that points to the undesirable influence of such music on the objectivity of news reports because music influences the way the news is understood and interpreted by the viewer. The whole work consists of two main parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, we deal with music psychology, music analysis, music and sound development in the audiovisual work and the practice of sound production in television news. The chapter on musical psychology presents the basic and advanced concepts and knowledge of the field, which relate to the ability of music to interact with human communication, perception, understanding, memory, experiences and emotions. The next chapter is devoted to musical analysis focusing on semantic analysis. The third and final chapter of the theoretical part is dedicated to music and sound in audiovisual works as well as the development of work with sound and music in television broadcasting and news. It also covers the development and specifics of production of TV news. In the practical part, we present our own research. The first chapter describes and explains the data from the quantitative part of the...

Průchová, Věra ; Rusek, Martin (advisor) ; Beneš, Pavel (referee)
The thesis Water is Life describes the natural science project realized over seven years at elementary school in Chrudim. The theoretical part is dedicated to comparison of the transmissive and constructive-based teaching. It also defines the terms: project, project- based teaching, projective method and research-based teaching. Further chapters deal with contrasting the project-based teaching with integrated theme-based teaching and implementation of the topic Water in the Framework Education Programme for Elementary Education. The analytical part of the thesis describes the process of realization of the Water is Life project from the methodology to the final evaluation. It also employs critical analysis of the project with emphasis on "projectivity" of the projects and necessity of following the basic criteria for the project-based teaching.
