New measures of weak non-compactness
Bendová, Hana ; Kalenda, Ondřej (advisor) ; Holický, Petr (referee)
The main topic of this thesis is the measures of weak non-compactness, which, in different ways, measure weak non-compactness of bounded sets in Banach spa- ces. Besides some known measures of weak non-compactness, we introduce new measures, that are more natural in some sense, and we show the relationships be- tween them. We prove quantitative versions of Eberlein-Grothendieck, Eberlein- Šmulian, and James' theorems. Afterwards, we deal with measures of weak non-compactness of the unit ball and measures of weak non-compactness of sets in Banach spaces with w∗ -angelic dual unit ball. We prove that in these cases some of the defined measures coincide. Finally, we focus on the behaviour of the defined measures while passing to convex and absolute convex hull. We prove quantitative version of Krein's theorem and we also prove that most of the mea- sures do not change when passing to convex and absolute convex hull in Banach spaces with w∗ -angelic dual unit ball.
Video Home Training and its Possibilities in System of Families with Children with ASD
Bendová, Hana ; Šporclová, Veronika (referee)
The thesis concerns the topic of the video home training method in families with children with autism spectrum disorders. The aim of the thesis is to summarize fundamental knowledge and new findings from the component crucial areas and on their base describe in detail this method of work with chosen target group. The thesis is divide in the classic way into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part of the thesis present the video home training method. It describes basic facts related to autism spectrum disorders, especially on their typical manifestation in the toddler period. In also engage in system of families with children with autism spectrum disorders and its individual members. The options for the currently available services for these families are describe as well as current information on the use of the video home training method in the systems of the mentioned families. The empirical part of the thesis present a study based on the four case studies. It approaches the use of the video home training method in the system of the families with children with autism spectrum disorders. It pay attention to his effect in the child with this disorder. It also study how the work affects other family members and their mutual relationships.
Video Home Training and its Possibilities in Families with Children with ASD
Bendová, Hana ; Šírová, Eva (advisor) ; Mertin, Václav (referee)
This master thesis focuses on the home video training in families with children with autism spectrum disorders in the toddler period. Its aim is to summarize knowledge and new findings from the crucial areas and to describe the utilization of this method. The theoretical part of the thesis deals in detail with the method of home video training. It is also focused on autism spectrum disorders, especially on their typical manifestation in the toddler period. The specifics of families with children with this disorder are described. Current information from the area of use in these families is also mentioned. The empirical part of the thesis contains a presentation of a study based on the four case studies. It approaches the use of method video home training in families with children with autism spectrum disorders.
Interaction and communication in school classes with children with ASD
Bendová, Hana ; Šírová, Eva (advisor) ; Šporclová, Veronika (referee)
Bachelor's thesis contains a literature review study and the research proposal. The theoretical section deals with basic informations about interaction and communication at school. It also discusses the issue of autism spectrum disorders, mostly diagnostic triad problem areas, in which they appear, and their particular types. There is also included the theme about education of individuals with these disorders. Next part of thesis deals with interaction and communication of individuals with autism spectrum disorders, especially those with diagnoses of Asperger syndrome and high functioning autism. It mostly consists of findings of studies conducted on this topic. The practical part of thesis contains the research proposal. Its theme is a positive change in relationship between teacher and student with Asperger syndrome or high functioning autism due to changing interaction and communication using technique video interaction guidance and its possible effects on the relationship between the student and his classmates. Keywords interaction, communication, autism spectrum disorders, student, teacher
