The Comparison of the Presidency in the Czech Republic, Germany and Austria.
Bednář, Martin ; Koubek, Jiří (advisor) ; Polášek, Martin (referee)
Annotation: In my Bachelor thesis I compare the roles of Presidents in the political systems of the Czech Republic, Austria and Germany. Despite that fact that all these neighbouring states are culturally linked and all account for parliamentary regimes, the heads of states in these countries carry out their functions in very different manners. The position of the Presidents are in my thesis examined with the help of the Tsebelis's theory of vetoplayers. The aim is to look into the fields of personal policy, foreign policy and legislative process and to ascertain, through the analysis of political and constitutional works, the exact role of the Presidents in these areas. Key words: president, head of state, The Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, constitutional competences, constitutional practice, personal policy, foreign policy, legislative process
Cutting as a finishing operation
Bednář, Martin ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
The project elaborated design of technology production of the cutting by shaving operation. The component is made from sheet iron 11 321. Pursuant to of the literary pursuit a problem of the shaving and calculation was designed two operations of shaving. Recommended production choice was tool with nominal cutting force 173 kN in first operation and 68 kN in second operation.
Proposal for implementation of SQL database as means to improve of in-house communication
Bednář, Martin ; Tofel, Otakar (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
This Bachelor´s thesis is aimed to project an intranet electronic notice-board for simplification and improved effectiveness of in-house communication via Windows SharePoint Services 3.0. Extension Module with IR Communication Interface
Bednář, Martin ; Slaný, Karel (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
This work is concerned with design of wireless extending module for the FITkit platform. The module is based on infrared communication. In this work the module itself is created, the components for the FPGA circuit are done and the software for the MCU is implemented. Additionally it is made possible to transmit or recieve codes of remote controllers for consumer electronics in variants of the NEC format.
Wireles Flying Object Telemetry
Bednář, Martin ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Růžička, Richard (advisor)
This paper is engaged in specification, design and implementation of a telemetry module for flying object. Specifically, it focuses on the selection of the appropriate carrier frequency of the integrated circuit providing bidirectional communication to a sufficient distance and design of the protocol used in the transmission. Furthermore, the document focuses on the design of communication modules using these integrated circuits, altimeter sensor module, module to control the actuators and design of the application for mobile phones used to display the measured data. With regard to legislative and technical options, I chose a carrier frequency of 2.4 GHz. For this frequency is commercially available integrated circuit CC2511, which in cooperation with integrated circuit CC2591 should be able to provide telemetry range about 2 km. I chose BMP085 sensor for altitude measuring. It is communicating over I2C bus as well as a module for controlling the actuator, which uses a microcontroller ATMEGA48-20AU. The mobile phone communicates with the ground station via the USB bus.
The Efficiency of Machines Evaluation for Production Task Ensuring
Bednář, Martin ; Prokeš, Viktor (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on an analysis and data evaluation of effectiveness of tool machines and their maintenance. There is a description of a technical production handling in the first part of the theoretical section. In the second part one of the most productive options to increase the productivity of the machine maintenance is described, and so it is the TPM (total productive maintenance). The practical part consists of an analysis of given dates and their evaluation for company needs. Recommendations and suggestions for the improvement are presented at the end of the thesis.
The Use of Means of Artificial Intelligence for the Decision Making Support in the Firm
Bednář, Martin ; Bružina, Martin (referee) ; Dostál, Petr (advisor)
The master's thesis deals with the topic of the use of artificial intelligence for managerial decision making in the firm. This thesis contains proposal for an application of neural networks and fuzzy logic for firm's product evaluation and recommendation for selection of competent produts.
Technology project for production of part "No.2432-cover"
Bednář, Martin ; Šlais, Miroslav (referee) ; Rumíšek, Pavel (advisor)
The project developed in the framework of Bachelor's study presents a proposal of producing technology of cover "2432", part of the sheet. Based on literature research, the studies and on own experience has been produced this work. The issue of materials, cutting, piping, drawing, design of the tool, evaluation of economic and technological design production has been studied. On the basis of the combined instrument has been designed, constructed according to standards, and the use of existing machinery. To resolve it was accounted economic assessment, which enabled decision-making between the semi-finished products for production. It was found that current production is not economically advantageous, compared to the options proposed. It has been ensured and the complex layout of machines in the area of existing production.
U. S. Monetary Policy in the 1920s
Bednář, Martin ; Tajovský, Ladislav (advisor) ; Jeřábková, Zdenka (referee)
This diploma thesis tries to analyse the monetary policy of the Federal Reserve System in the 1920s. Through a detailed scrutiny of the influence of the American Central Bank on the economic activities it also tries to answer the question whether the Federal Reserve System could be considered as the main factor behind the causes and consequences of the Great Depression. This analysis can be divided into two periods. In the first period it explores the connection between the Federal Reserve System and the so-called New Era of American Capitalism in the 1920s. In addition, it raises the question whether the Central American Bank (through monetary policy tools) influenced the contemporary economic and political development to such an extent that it resulted into the Great Depression. The focus of the second period is the behaviour of the Federal Reserve System right after the Stock Market Crash of 1929.
