AABBSSTTRRAACCTT The Title: The contents of survival training for reconnaissance and airborne units of the Army of the Czech Republic Goals of the thesis: A proposal of subjects and a description of individual survival techniques for the reconnaissance and airborne units of the Army of the Czech Republic. The Method: The thesis is compiled as a fieldwork accompanied by a search of literature. The fieldwork is based on a nine-year monitoring of the training of the Czech military during which I acted as an active participant. Primal sources I used, in order to answer a research question, were available special literature, internal directive acts, field manuals and special publications concerning the survival and published by the Army of the Czech Republic. The literature for the research was chosen on the basis of its content and its relationship to the survival. Results: I propose a possible direction of the reconnaissance and airborne units of the Army of the Czech Republic survival training according to their equipment. Keywords: Army of the Czech Republic, survival, reconnaissance and airborne units, training
Confrontation of sport and military climbing in term of energetic consumption
Elstner, Martin ; Turčová, Ivana (referee) ; Barták, Erik (advisor)
Confrontation of sport and military climbing in term of energetic consumption Objective: Determining the response of the organism of an individual in overcoming various climbing routes profiles and in the sports clothing and military cutting device pattern 95th Method: This was a quantitative research using participant observation probands while climbing paths listed in the sports apparel in climbing shoes and Military attire including field boots. It was a casuistic research 5 climbers who satisfy the conditions of military exercises climbing. As the main parameter for comparison method was used to measure pulse rate as an indirect Energy indicators cover the exercise. Results: Measurements took place at a military climbing trainer James Bechyně, where five designated persons recovering path difficulty IV + to two different profiles and perpendicular and overhanging. Both types of trips overcome probands in both sports tract such as in the military indefinitely. The maximum and average values SF climbing different profiles and different gear shall not differ significantly from each other and for all types of roads, the average heart rate ranged 136 to 161 beats / min, which corresponds to 68% to 79% SFmax. Maximum values SF when climbing ranged from 157 to 190 beats / min, which corresponds to 80%...

Horelica, Jan ; Vomáčko, Ladislav (referee) ; Barták, Erik (advisor)
Theses: Proposal content of the basic rope techniques training for special units of the Police Czech Republic Name: Jan Horelica Place of work: Department of Military Sports Thesis Supervisor: kpt. Mgr. Erik Barták Year of the theses defence: 2010 Summary: Work objectives: Analysis of the basic rope techniques training of working at heights with special units of the Police Czech Republic. Content processing of the basic rope training techniques for special units of the Police Czech Republic. Methods: Analysis of the basic rope techniques training of working at heights with special units of the Police Czech Republic were carried out in the research section. The analysis used qualitative methods of collecting data namely group discussions with instructors of special units of the Police Czech Republic working at heights. Within the qualitative research I also searched internal regulation for the implementation of the work of the special police units of the Czech Republic. When writing the theoretical part of theses I also made a search of other technical literature. Results: In the submitted theses I was able to analyze content area of basic rope techniques of working at heights with special units of the Police Czech Republic and identify certain deficiencies in the training. On the basis of these findings I...
Use of general and specific kinetic tests for prediction techniques of close combat
Šorm, Daniel ; Barták, Erik (referee) ; Vágner, Michal (advisor)
Title of thesis! Use of general and specific kinetic tests for prediction techniques of close combat. Objective Of thesis: My thesis deals with finding content validity and curriculal validity behind sampled kinetic tests for choice of human for the course of close combat. MethodI Thesis is working up like empiric kvantitative research of observation type and notice diachronic dependences between criteria variable and choice continuous independent variables. For analyses of relations and dependences among variables were used methods descriptive and inference statistics. Criteria variables were obtained with sum of evaluations close combat techniques such as composote score. Techniques were evaluations on the scale proposed by Vagner (2008). For preliminary of date analysis was used method of multiple correllations. Algorithm of all possible regressions was used for the propose of set variables and regression triplet was used to evaluate regrression model. Dates were processed with programs such as SPSS 15.0 for Windows, NCSS (Hintze, 2004), and QC Expert 2.7. Results! Specific kinetic tests reached higher curriculal validity to the acquirement of close vombat techiques than general kinetic tests. Every test proved the content validity as satisfactory. With algorithm of all possible regressions we...

Bernard, Petr ; Barták, Erik (referee) ; Vomáčko, Ladislav (advisor)
Title: Analysis and proposal of possible implementation in methodology of training in heights and above open depths in the Czech Police special operations force. The aim of diploma theses: The main aims ofthis diploma work is analysis of existing methodology oftraining in heights and above open depths used in the Czech Police special force (Rapid Response Unit, ÚRN) and description of proposed implementations in training. Description of necessary material equipment used for performance of the tasks in heights and above open depths in police operations is also included. The final goal of this work is proposal of possible basic training model accommodating to specific characteristic ofAssaulters - Climbers operations. Method: Basic information necessary for proposal of implementation in methodology of training in heights and above open depths for Rapid Response Unit ofthe Czech Police will be gained from critical analysis of existing documents and semi structured interview with open questions. The survey is based on persona! interview with instructors of climbing from the Czech police Special Forces. Research results will be matched with theoretic information gained from special bibliography. Results: Analysis of currently used methodology of training in heights revealed gaps in certain parts of the...
