The bachelor thesis examines the issue of so called sharing economy and its impact on consumer behavior of individuals in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of thesis defines the historical, social and economic context, that enabled the emergence of this modern exchange model and provides an overview of the financial services in the sharing economy operating on the Czech market. The empirical part presented in the form of a questionnaire survey reveals the main benefits of services of the sharing economy, defines the perception of financial services of collaborative consumption by a specific group of population of the Czech Republic and examines the potential development of this model as a whole. The results of the research indicate that, notwithstanding the relatively low level of trust in the collaborative consumption services and quite limited familiarity with the financial services of the sharing economy, the future positive development of this exchange model, which under the right conditions will gain significant national economic significance, may be expected.

Cruz, Vladimír ; Strejček, Ivo (advisor) ; Barák, Vladimír (referee)
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate effectiveness of ESF subsidy means and its influence on unemployment rate in Usti Region in 2007-2015. Often unconvincing results of project activities that were subsidized from ESF means, which are meant to be used to lower unemployment, give rise to negative criticism and the opinion that these projects and thereby the subsidies are inefficient. The main hypothesis of this bachelor thesis is that subsidies from European Social Fund to lower unemployment in Usti Region are not used efficiently considering the difference between planned and real output. Research results in this thesis support this hypothesis, because the efficiency could be provably higher. The theoretical part is focused on defining of basic terms that are related to this topic including terminology of subsidies, funds, unemployment, labor market and public choice. The practical part consists of analysis of unemployment rate in Usti Region in 2007-2015, which is compared to situation in the Czech Republic and European Union and of analysis of efficiency of projects subsidized from ESF regarding labor market.

The existing level of pension systems coordination has been a result of a long development process that is reflected in a sophisticated legislation. The thesis also introduces a case study in which an individual has gained a working experience from five EU countries and applies for the retirement pension in the last of these countries. This case study has been prepared in order to review the overall pension system functionality as well as to demonstrate its weeknesses. In the final part of the thesis, the author summarizes his recent conclusions and finds the EU system to be very elaborate in the field of legislation and its overall coordination. However, the system hardly allows to an ordinary citizen to calculate his/her expected retirement amount that would i.e. enable him/her to anticipate his/her standard of living as a retiree.
