Pre-treatment of rainwater before entering the infiltration tank

The diploma thesis is focused on the topic of pre-treatment of rainwater before entering the infiltration tank. The theoretical part deals with the issue of rainwater, their division and pollution, as well as technical solutions for rainwater management. In the practical part, testing of selected street drains of various construction systems in the laboratory of VHO (municipal water management) was performed and subsequently these drains were evaluated according to various criteria - the amount of captured material, drain cleaning system and filter construction.

The study alternatives village up to 2000 PE

The diploma thesis deals with the design of variants of sewerage and wastewater disposal in the selected municipality. Solved area for this work is the village Rovečné with the local part of Malé Tresné. The aim of this work is to propose a suitable variant and to assess it from the economic point of view with regard to grant titles. The author deals with the selection of a suitable method of sewerage of the area of interest and subsequent waste water disposal, based on the relevant standards and related regulations. The proposed options are then assessed from an economic point of view and a suitable solution option is recommended.

Precipitation water management in the area of the Brno - Pastviny primary school

The bachelor thesis focuses on the management of rain water in decentralized territory. In the theoretical part, a literature search is made on the possibilities of rain water management and the relevant legislation in The Czech Republic. There are described types of technical solutions for the management of rainwater. In the practical part there is a case study in the area of the Elementary school and Kindergarten Brno - Pastviny for rain water treatment, proposal of underground rainwater tanks with pre-filtration and an automatic irrigation system.

Soviet support of North Vietnam during Indochinese Wars

This thesis deals with Soviet support of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam since its formation in 1945 until the end of the Second Indochina Conflict. Based on the study of secondary sources, this work tries to chronologically describe its development with highlighting the crucial moments that have influenced soviet support. Through this research, this work concluded that the intensity of soviet support was directly dependent on the current needs of Soviet foreign policy in relation to the Cold War and relations with the Western powers, respectively within the communist bloc and relations with China. As to relations with the West, the Soviet Union sought to improve those relations and the support to the Vietnamese communists held to the extent that it did not directly abolish these efforts. As regards relations with the West, the Soviet Union sought to improve and support the Vietnamese Communists in particular, to the extent that it did not directly abolish these efforts. In the context of China, this work points to the opposite phenomenon. The power struggle within the Communist bloc and the struggle for influence in Vietnam has, on the contrary, provoked increased support in efforts to overcome its competitor. Design of the Krahulov sewer network

This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a technical solution for drainage of the village Krahulov with a combined sewerage network. The first part describes the area of interest. In the next part of the thesis it deals with the design of suitable sewer network routes with respect to the existing engineering networks. The hydrotechnical calculations, the hydrotechnical situation of the dewatered area and the detailed longitudinal profile of the main drains are elaborated. The resulting proposal can serve to a general proposal or as a preliminary draft for the preparation of a real project.

Hydraulic calculation of sewage system in Lipůvka

Diploma thesis is focused on hydraulic assessment of Lipůvka´s sewer system, done by dynamic rainfall-runoff simulation model. Because of this fact, chapter about mathematical models is included. Commonly used programs to this actions are listed as well. Next part of the thesis describes monitoring campaign, which was done in Lipůvka and results are used to calibrate the simulation model. Hydraulic assessment of sewer system by this calibrated model was done.

The subject of this thesis is the preparation and management of construction contracts in the construction company. The theoretical part is devoted to the description management by project and its tools, supply activities and supplier preparation of construction. Theoretical explanation matters of project management is followed by practical demonstration of the selected job.

Assessment of selected parts of the sewer system in the village

The Bachelor´s thesis is focused on software products in hydraulic design and assessment of sewer networks. The thesis is consist of research part, where the commonly used programs in Czech Republic and abroad are listed. The next part aims to describe hydro-dynamic simulation model Storm Water Managment Model, which is free to download from U.S. EPA websites. The practical part deals with creating a model of the sewer network by the SWMM and hydraulic assessment of selected parts of the sewer system in the village Lipůvka, South - Moravian region.
