Algorithm for Calculation of Radiation View Factors
Bílek, Tomáš ; Hlavička, Rudolf (referee) ; Čermák, Libor (advisor)
This thesis deals with a calculation of radiation view factors. The thesis includes mathematical model of the problem and its numerical solution. The main aim of the thesis is the creation of an algorithm for calculation of radiation view factors for given 3D geometries and its application for the heat flux analysis. CAD models of geometries, specified by a NASTRAN file format, are used as an input of the algorithm. Matrix of radiation view factors serves then as an output of the algorithm. The algorithm is programmed in MATLAB, but STAR-CCM+ is used for the NASTRAN specification of separate models. The algorithm is also designed for a computation on a computer cluster for cases of intricate geometries with consideration of shading areas.
High Voltage Switchgear Thermal Distribution Analysis
The multistorey office building
Bílek, Tomáš ; Sýkora, Karel (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
Design of a new steel structure administrative building in Zlín. Structure is consist of three parts. The part A is designed of three fields in the transverse direction and five fields in the longitudinal direction. This part is two-storey. The part B is designed of two fields in the transverse direction and three fields in the longitudinal direction. This part is six-storey (five-storey). The part C is designed of two fields in the transverse direction and five fields in the longitudinal direction. This part is four-storey (three, two-storey). In both directions in all parts of the building is the distance between the columns in all fields of 6,0 meters. Structural elevation of all floors is 3,5 meters. Shape and dimension design. Fixed, utility, climatic load. The purpose is confrontation of inner forces and dimensioning of main supporting elements in three variations of structure. Comparsion of variations. More detailed static calculation, drawings for the selected variant. Detailed drawings for part of building.
Home VoIP
Bílek, Tomáš ; Ščuglík, František (referee) ; Ráb, Jaroslav (advisor)
The thesis explores practical applications of VoIP technology at home, in combination with the opensource private branch exchange Asterisk. A substantial part of this work is the documentation of the functioning of the main parts of public switched telephone networks (PSTN) and VoIP networks. Also described are the principles of voice digitization, commonly used codecs and several VoIP protocols. The last part of the thesis focuses on the design, practical realization and verification of two home VoIP installations.
The Effect of the Time of Bird Droppings Remaining on the Vehicle Body on the Damage Degree of the Paintwork
Bílek, Tomáš ; Kaluža, Zdeněk (referee) ; Bradáč, Albert (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of the degree of damage done to the vehicle‘s body paint varnish by bird droppings; with respect to the influence of the pollution time on the thickness of the layer of lacquer. The first chapter deals with the importance of varnish and other layers of body protection, types of body varnish damage, painting technology, lacquer defects, bird droppings and its effects on the varnish of the vehicle‘s body. The second chapter is dedicated exclusively to the description, planning and measurement of the coated layers on the vehicle’s body contaminated with bird feces.
Medication Application As a Nursing Activity
BÍLEK, Tomáš
This bachelor thesis focuses on medication administration as a nursing activity and has two main objectives. The first one was to identify mistakes made by nurses when preparing medication or applying medicaments to patients. Another was the analysis of the views of general nurses on the appropriateness of the use of certain medical aids and equipment related to the preparation and administration of drugs and their actual use in their clinical practice when working with patients. This thesis outlines the basic theory of drugs, methods of preparation, various ways of administration to the patient and also possible mistakes that the general nurses may make when handling drugs. Furthermore, the thesis presents results of research conducted during clinical practice in the hospital, which focuses on the proper preparation and administration of drugs by general nurses. The research was based on the covert observation of 20 general nurses working in different hospital wards. It focused on compliance with selected hygiene and safety rules when handling drugs and the use of selected aids to prepare the application of drugs to patients. In addition, the answers from the questionnaire survey, which was attended by 62 general nurses from various medical facilities, but mainly from hospitals, are analysed here. Using statistical methods, hypotheses concerning the influence of age, gender, education and length of practice of general nurses on the use of selected nursing aids and compliance with selected rules were tested. In conclusion, the most important findings concerning the satisfaction of general nurses with the current system of preparation and application of drugs at their workplaces are given, as well as the findings concerning non-compliance with certain hygienic standards. Finally, recommendations are presented that the hospital should adopt in order to increase the awareness of general nurses about this problem and to arrange a remedy.
The Using of GC and SPME in the Analysis of Natural Products
Bílek, Tomáš ; Jahodář, Luděk (advisor) ; Valterová, Irena (referee) ; Spilková, Jiřina (referee)
Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmaceutical botany and ecology Candidate PharmDr. Tomáš Bílek Supervisor prof. RNDr. Luděk Jahodář, CSc Title of Doctoral Thesis The using of GC and SPME in the analysis of natural products Due to the wide of use of SPME and GC in the analysis of natural products, this research is focused on the field of botany and ecology on the study of volatile compounds from plants. The material for a study were two species of Lamiaceae family, Melittis melissophyllum L. subsp. melissophyllum a Teucrium flavum L. subsp. flavum. In the theoretical part are described as botanical as farmacognostical characteristics of the family Lamiaceae and the species under the study, respectively. Furthermore, the discussion on volatile substances of natural, plant origin including chemical characteristics, biological activity and methods of analysis sensu lato is given. The essential oil of flowering aerial parts of Melittis melissophyllum subsp. melissophyllum (Lamiaceae), growing in central Italy, was obtained by steam distillation and characterised by GC-FID and GC-MS. The total of 48 components were identified (94.7 -95.0%). The main component was the mushroom-like flavour 1- octen-3-ol (43.6 - 54.2%). The result suggests, that the plant...
