Impact of parent's visual impairment on socialisation of intact child
Haringová, Věra ; Adámková, Jana (advisor) ; Komárková, Tereza (referee)
This master thesis pursues social developement of intact child raised by the parents with visual impairment. It is specifically aimed at the development communication skills of this child. Childhood education by the parents with visual impairment presents certain specifics, which are manifested on the development of the komunikacni competence of the child. By the persons with visual impairment it is common to encounter enadequate mimic expresion and the absence of gestures. Child adopts the communication according to the model of her parents. But over time, its communication expressions become more and more related to the surrounding society. Considerable role in this process represent the encounters with intact persons, which deliver different non-verbal feedback. On the other side parents with visual impairment stimulate their children to the verbal communication and this verbal communication can become significantly more developed than that of their peers. Psychological aspects of the late diagnosis of AS
Adámková, Jana ; Sotáková, Hana (advisor) ; Rendl, Miroslav (referee)
The principal purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to survey the psychological aspects of a late diagnosis (in adolescence and later) of the Asperger syndrome (also known as the Asperger's syndrome or Asperger's disorder). For this purpose the author has identified the theoretical assumptions on the basis of which she addresses the impacts of the identification of a diagnosis on the persons' mental state, emphasising the specifics of this process for the diagnosis of the Asperger syndrome. The author then uses these assumptions for performing a qualitative analysis of the testimonies of some people in whom the Asperger syndrome was diagnosed after the age of 30. The respondents talk about their lives prior to learning of their Asperger syndrome, about the influence that this new information has had on them, about the way in which they made the decision to undergo diagnostics, and of what they were afraid and in what they hoped. The conclusion of the thesis summarises the areas with which the identification of an Asperger syndrome diagnosis interferes. KEY WORDS Asperger syndrome diagnostics adulthood psychological aspects
The influence of early diagnostic on families of children with ASD
Čižmářová, Eliška ; Vítečková, Michaela (advisor) ; Adámková, Jana (referee)
The diploma thesis The influence of early diagnosis for family of children with ASD deals with problems with autistic spectrum disorders diagnostics. It is focused on families with ASD children. It also maps the period before the diagnosis. The main aim is to show the preceding situation and consequences after the diagnosis of one of the autistic spectrum disorders in the family. The thesis works with both, the psychic impacts influencing family members, but also many other factors. The acquired information is based on the narrative conversation with parents. It speaks about the first displayed symptoms and the attempt to solve the occurring problems. It also speaks about possible seeing doctors, and if so, what specialists and what approaches and diagnoses they met. Last but not least the thesis is interested in those who informed the family about ASD as the first, when it was diagnosed and the change of family life after the diagnosis.
New options for cervical cancer prevention
Adámková, Jana ; Kulhavá, Miluše (advisor) ; Fanta, Michael (referee)
This paper examines new ways of preventing cervical cancer. It adopts theoretical as well as empirical approach and is accordingly divided into two sections. The theoretical section provides a brief introduction to the anatomy and physiology of the uterus (Chapter 1.1) and then focuses on the disease itself (Chapter 1.2). The first three subchapters consider the disease incidence, the risk factors and the symptoms. The diagnostics are discussed in the fourth subchapter, which also provides a detailed description of Pap smear testing. Available treatments, currently consisting mainly of a surgical intervention, are examined in the subchapter on therapy. Lastly, the paper discusses ways of preventing cervical cancer, such as preventive gynecological exams and newly introduced vaccination against human papillomavirus (HPV); Silgard and Cervavix vaccines are examined in detail. The empirical section evaluates a questionnaire-based survey performed in a private gynecological practice. The aim of the survey was to map the awareness of cervical cancer preventive measures, especially the vaccine option, amongst different age groups of women and establish whether they are having their preventive gynecological tests done.
Social perception of Game Management with emphasis on social group dealing with ornithology
Menclová, Barbora ; Obleser, Petr (advisor) ; Adámková, Jana (referee)
This bachelor thesis is focused on evaluation of the stand of ornithological comunity on game management under the terms of problematical relationships between these two groups. Its goal is to chart the concrete fields of arguments within the legislation, as well as game management´s beneficial effects and moral aspects. Another pursuit is also to sketch the realization of possible cooperation. Using questionnaire, which was sent to members of Czech Society for Ornithology and its regional subdivisions, the respondents answered 20 questions and these results were statistically evaluated. The results show, that game management itself is perceived slightly differently compared with perception of individual hunters. The game management is evaluated more as salutary, whereas the hunters evoke rather negative feelings among respondents. It can be caused by subjective experiences, which influence the way the respondents see the whole game management society. Legislation seems to be the often repeated problem, to be concrete its breaking for example by illegal hunting or insufficient demands for to get a hunting and a gun licence. Ornithologists would also welcome changes regarding the list of the game animals. Problem is also the insufficient knowledge of hunters in the field of ornithology and ekology, which could be solved by tightening the conditions for the hunting and the gun licence. From the proposals, which were laid in the questionnairy and which are dealing with improving of the mutual relations, the respondents voted mainly discussion - collective, regular, at the expert level, where could be possible to solve actual issues relating game management, as well as ornithology.
Evaluation of roe deer losses during meadow harvests
Horváth, Vít ; Kušta, Tomáš (advisor) ; Adámková, Jana (referee)
Abstract This thesis for the bachelors degree deals with the analysis and subsequent evaluation of the fawn mortality during haymaking in the hunting district HS Kalec, county Plzeň-sever (Pilsen-North), located in the western part of the Czech Republic. The first part of this thesis describes Roe Deer (Capreolus Capreolus), its population in this territory, biology, ethology and its management. The second part describes the project as such involving three model testing areas that were selected and marked out in the hunting district HS Kalec; before the haymaking time from June 15 to June 24, 2015, adequate protection measures were undertaken in these areas. Locality of the first model testing area number 1 was attended (walked) by gamekeepers with dogs. Locality of the second model testing area number 2 was treated with the game scent repeller and also equipped with acoustic disturber. The third model testing area number 3 was only monitored. These model testing areas were re-visited after hay crop and the result is that in the vicinity of the model testing area number 3 two fawns were cut and killed. In both other model testing areas no cut fawns were found. After hay crop and subsequent determining the actual number of cut fawns, these testing areas were compared mutually and the results will be stated in this thesis for the bachelors degree. The essential aspect was to evaluate the fawns mortality in the specific hunting district based on the obtained facts. Relation to the mitigation measures set in place was examined. This work resulted in saving three fawns. Outcomes of this thesis have provided rather interesting findings that can be further exploited in the gamekeeping management. Particularly in relation to the roe deer management in the gamekeeping practice. Keywords/tags: roe deer, fawns, killing, hunting district (HS Kalec, Žihle)
Activity of the badger (Meles meles) in a viccinity of its burrow in Sluknov
Chadima, Patrik ; Kušta, Tomáš (advisor) ; Adámková, Jana (referee)

Escape behavior of roe deer
Waignerová, Pavla ; Obleser, Petr (advisor) ; Adámková, Jana (referee)
The work deals with the way of life of our most common game, especially roe deer and escape behaviour and strategies of escape. The observation was focused on the perception of the Earth's magnetic field roe deer. Which in this work due to lack of data did not. Other observations dealt with the response to an incoming man in connection with the perception of colour and intensity of light. Breakout and the reaction distance proved to be dependent on the colour of clothing and on the intensity of the illumination, the reaction and the escape came earlier, when an observer was dressed in a red dress, than when he was in the green. And at a higher intensity of daylight responded beasts before when light intensity was lower. The results of the experimental part of the work did not confirm the hypothesis of similar scientific works dealing with the magnetoreception and the visual perception of the roe deer.
The effect of supplementary winter feeding on the wildlife forest damages
Strnad, Martin ; Ježek, Miloš (advisor) ; Adámková, Jana (referee)
Abstract The work deals with the influence of the winter feeding on the amount of damage to forests caused by game in Šumava area farmed by the state enterprise Lesy České republiky (Forests of the Czech Republic), forest enterprise Boubín, forest district Kubova Huť. The aim was processing a literature review on the topic of harm wildlife and processing its own investigation regarding the evaluation of the development of damage to forests, depending on winter feeding and its localization. The first part is introduction to the general problems of dealing with the kind of damage caused by game, the possibilities of influencing of damage caused by game, evidence of damage caused by game, the legislative framework for the application of game damages to the user of the hunting ground and the consequences of damage caused by game. The second part is focused on the investigation of damage caused by game in selected locations. It was selected two adjacent hunting grounds in the selected area of a similar nature and properties. In the first hunting ground were selected three feeding sites and in the second hunting ground other two feeding sites. Around each location was determined by a circle with a radius of one kilometre and using a map portal comprise forests within this sector in the table. For each crop was determined actual age, the percentage of crop damage and the distance from feeding place. Data for damage based on the summaries damage to forests in Forest enterprise Boubín, forest district Kubova Huť and from 2010 to 2014. The statistical method, using the statistical software STATISTICA 10th 0., the data were evaluated and put into final tables and chapters. The basic hypothesis was based on the question of whether the damage caused by wild animals increase with bigger distance from the feeding sites. The results did not confirm this hypothesis. Conversely, the damages caused by animals increased with reduced distance from the feeding sites. Neither the size of the crop affects the amount of damage caused by game. Knowledge about the occurrence of damage caused by game depends on the distance from feeding sites may be important for better selection and number of sites for animal feeding. Key words European red deer (Cervus elaphus), feeding, harm wildlife
