Materiology of mouldings for automobile industry
Mandát, Dušan ; Pech, Miroslav ; Hrabovský, Miroslav ; Pochmon, Michal ; Rössler, T.
This article treats of optical methods, that investigate defect of mouldings designed for automobile industry. We use simple optical system and image processing algorithm to measure surface deformation. The sources of defect usually are: scratch, bulge, grey, bristle etc.
Měření mechanických vlastností zeolitových mikro-krystalů pomocí instrumentované vnikací zkoušky
Stranyánek, Martin ; Čtvrtlík, Radim ; Brabec, Libor ; Boháč, Petr
The Indentation hardness and the elastic modulus of Silicate-1 zeolite crystals were determined. Dimension of the crystals is 200 μm x 40 μm x 40 μm approximately. Two modification of the Silicate-1 were studied: as-systhesized crystals without organic template.
Selected laser technologies in education of students of physical fields of study
Lapšanská, Hana ; Chmelíčková, Hana ; Schovánek, Petr ; Hrabovský, Miroslav ; Kainzová, V. ; Halenka, V.
This contribution informs about the increasing usage of laser systems in various industrial applications. In the light of this development, it is essential to update current lectures. Students of the physical and technical fields of study should improve their knowledge of basic sorts and principles of laser technologies, which they can come across in their future practice. Our laboratory is equipped with high power laser system, therefore we are able to provide students with experimental work apart from a theoretical presentation.
Měření drsnosti povrchu křemíkových ingotů po squarování
Havelková, Martina ; Hiklová, Helena ; Schovánek, Petr ; Vojtěchovský, K. ; Vojtěchovská, J.
Surface topography has great importance in specifying quality of a surface. A significant proportion of component failure starts at the surface due to either an isolated manufacturing discontinuity or gradual deterioration of the surface quality. The most important parameter describing surface integrity is surface roughness. In the manufacturing industry, surface must be within certain limits of roughness.
Study of hard and abrasion resistant films on surface of nickel moulds
Cerman, J. ; Špatenka, P. ; Stranyánek, Martin ; Čtvrtlík, Radim
The paper is dealing with some possibilities of using hard and abrasion resistant films deposited by PVD technology on less noble materials. The films are tested by some experimental equipment developed by TU Liberec simulated real wear. Contact profilometer is used. Thickness and Berkovich nanohardness are determined.
Properties of TIO.sub.x./sub. films deposited at atmosphere pressure
Sedláková, L. ; Hubička, Zdeněk ; Churpita, Olexandr ; Stranyánek, Martin ; Čtvrtlík, Radim ; Špatenka, P.
TiOx films were deposited on silica glass by RF discharge in atmosphere pressure at low substrate temperature. Some properties of the films were studied depending on annealing temperature after deposition. The thickness, nanohardness, crystallinity and speed of photocatalysis degradation were investigated.
Evaluation of mechanical properties of thin films and coatings by the system NanoTest™ NT600
Čtvrtlík, Radim ; Stranyánek, Martin ; Boháč, Petr ; Jastrabík, Lubomír ; Hrabovský, Miroslav
This article deals with evaluation of mechanical properties of thin films and coatings by the system NanoTest™ NT600.
Phase analysis using Fourier transform profilometry
Mandát, Dušan ; Rössler, T. ; Hrabovský, Miroslav
The profilometry method used here is the Fourier-Transform Profilometry Method that was originally published by Takeda in 1982. The geometry of the experiment is very similar that used in Moiré Topography, but the advantage of this method is only one image of the projected grating is necessary to produce the resulting object´s fringes.
Hardness measurement of inhomogeneous plasma sprayed coatings
Čtvrtlík, Radim ; Stranyánek, Martin ; Boháč, Petr ; Jastrabík, Lubomír ; Ctibor, Pavel ; Hrabovský, Miroslav
This article deals with an examination of mechanical properties of TiO.sub.2./sub. plasma sprayed coatings using nanoindentation method DSI and measuring instrument NanoTest 600 TM.
Non-contact measurement of specific elongation of the rubber specimen by means of properties of speckle correlation
Wagnerová, Petra ; Horváth, Pavel ; Šmíd, Petr ; Hrabovský, Miroslav
This paper presents the usage of speckle correlation for the measurement of specific elongation of rubber specimen.
