Lexical gallicisms in the Russian language

The main objectives of the work was to study the extralingvistic reasons for borrowing, extention and persistence of the French words in the Russian language, to create a dictionnary of french lexical borrowings taken on russian language system (available as supplement of the thesis, volume two) and on the basis of comparison of the french words and their russian equivalents to generalize the rules of assimilation of french lexical borrowings into the Russian language from the different linguistic points of view - phonetic, graphic, morphological, semantic. Use of illustration in Russian language teaching

TITLE: Use of illustration in Russian language teaching. ABSTRACT: The aim of the thesis is the illustration, using the principle of clarity in the teaching of foreign languages and an analysis of interactive textbook for Russian Raduga po-novomu 1 in comparison with its printed form. The basis of the work creates the monitoring of progress of the concept of clarity, the using of visual aids and different teaching methods from J. A. Comenius to the present, when we have a modern education technique at the disposal, which allows the application of the principle of illustration in all its forms. The survey questionnaire form is designed to measure the level of popularity of modern teaching techniques for visual teaching. Intercultural communication - sociocultural skills of students of Russian and English language at secondary schools

The diploma thesis deals with problems of intercultural commnunication, especially with its role in foreign language teaching (chiefly Russian and English language). It introduces the term commnunicative skill as the fundamental goal of contemporary foreign language didactics because it represents the key skill which students of foreign language should acquire. In the first place it is focused on sociocultural skill which represents partial component of communicative skill. The practical part of the thesis is based on via questionaire survey and presents stereotypes and prejudice of students at secondary schools about nationalities whose languages they study. Lexicon of nursing in Russian-Czech Comparison

The Bachelor thesis deals with lexicon of nursing in Russian - Czech comparison. The aim is to compare selected Russian and Czech expressions from point of view of word formation and to determine which ways predominate in these two languages. Component parts deal with mechanisms of word formation. We use comparative analysis. Collected Russian expressions are compared to their Czech equivalents.The thesis is mainly focused on terms of this field. It tries to find out if there are some regularities in the structure of loanwords and if these two languages use loanword or create their own word. It comprises also chapters about history of nursing, terminology, origin of medical terminology and professional slang. Supplement includes Russian-Czech dictionary containing diverse medical expressions and texts with medical topics.
Russian vowel system in comparison with Czech

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to compare the articulation and distribution of Czech and Russian vowels and on the basis of differences devise a suitable way of articulation of Russian vowels for Czech learners. The thesis is divided into two parts; the first one describes the articulation of vowels, the differences in quality and quantity in both languages and quality changes caused by suprasegmental language units with an accent on reductions of the 1st and 2nd degree in Russian. The second part offers a system of phonetic exercises designed in order to improve the articulation of Russian vowels which is primarily intended for Czech pupils. TITLE: Czech and Russian Phraseology with Animals in Comparison AUTHOR: Veronika Novotná DEPARTMENT: Department of Russian studies and linguodidactics SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Lenka Havelková, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: This bachelor thesis is based on phraseologisms which use names of animals. It compares Czech and Russian phraseologisms. Theoretical part of the thesis deals with the phraseology itself and concentrates on the concepts such as phraseologism, idiom, proverb, comparison, etc. Practical part of the thesis analyses concrete Czech and Russian phraseological units involving the names of animals. These phrases are compared and determined taking into account the extent of their equivalence. Synoptic charts provide the meaning and origin of the Czech and Russian phraseologisms according to specialized phraseological and etymological dictionaries. The extent of equivalence of particular phraseologisms is defined in these charts. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare Russian and Czech phraseologisms mainly from their content and formal points of view, and find out the extent of their equivalence. Interlingual Homonyms in Czech - Russian Comparative Frame

This bachelor thesis deals with interlingual Czech-Russian homonyms and their typology. The theoretical part of the thesis is concerned with paradigmatic relations, namely with antonymy, synonymy, polysemy and paronymy where an individual chapter devoted to the clarification and classification of homonyms and interlingual homonyms as such. The practical part consists of a dictionary of interlingual Czech-Russian homonyms. Each homonymic pair is given in a separate table in order to create a well-arranged system. The examples of sentences or collocations, which the given entries contain, are also presented in each table. The aim of the thesis is to create a dictionary of interlingual Czech-Russian homonyms which could be used as a tool in teaching Russian. It also presents a theoretical overview of interlingual homonymy with focus on Czech-Russian comparative perspective.
Application of regional particularities in a project planning in pre-school education

The components of the dissertation are the historical background and the definition of the term project. The research section analyses the educational programmes for preschools in the region of Uherské Hradiště. It also verifies the project method with the focus on folk traditions.
