Controller of hot runner for injection molds
Chrenka, Eduard ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The thesis focuses on implementation of a hot runner controller for injection molds for plastic materials with a maximum number of 56 regulated zones. The first part of the thesis deals with already existing and used solutions of the given subject. The following part of the thesis describes the principles of temperature measurement by means of thermoelectric sensors, including their linearization as well as communication protocols MODBUS, EUROMAP 17. The identification of a regulated system ( heating zone) has been carried out before the hardware design. The development process is divided into some parts : system conception, hardware design, software development. The controller consists of measuring modules designed to collect data and handle power controllers for management of performance of heating elements. The necessary calculation power is integrated into the controllling computer. All parts of a hot runner controller are implemented taking into account the costs.
Control and visualization of programme blocks for sewage treatment
Monček, Matej ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The theme of master thesis was to cover issues of controlling the wastewater treatment plant, to introduce latest standards applied in design of graphical interface and design the set of fucntional and graphical objects. First parts focuses on listing of power devices, sensors used in wastewater plant and issues of its control, followed by HMI standards introduction. Practical part contents of configuration of control system, desription of functions with flowcharts. Subsequently the thesis covers specificall graphical objects and its connection onto functional blocks.
Crossroad model with industrial communication
Záviš, Jan ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This diploma project summarizes a theoretical introduction regarding the issue of traffic light control. Further there is industrial communication discussed, where they are the Ethernet / IP protocol and the Modbus TCP protocol described more in detail. The following is the description of the Logix series programmable controllers. Then the diploma follows up with market research in order to find the most suitable development kit which is used as a trial prototype. Then it is concerned with a development kit with a communication module from AND-TECH company. Software was developed on them, more specifically a library for processor ports, memory and the Modbus TCP protocol. After verifying the functionality of the software, the hardware design was started. From the first site it is development kit and module and from the second site there are input and output circuits. There must be the assessment of the results found during the test operation. The end of the document describes incorrect steps that were repaired in hardware.
Risk assessment of the barman machine powered by Magnemotion
Jirků, Lukáš ; Stibor, Karel (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with the risk assessment of machinery, specifically the automated bartender model. The thesis includes the replacement of a pneumatic feeder with an electric linear conveyor using MagneMotion technology. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the automated bartender model, MagneMotion independent trolley technology and GuardLink safety technology. This is followed by the development of a risk assessment on the machinery according to ČSN EN ISO 12 100. The next part of the thesis describes the design and implementation of conveyor replacement and safety measures to reduce the risks resulting from the risk assessment. Finally, the implemented safety measures are verified.
Distillation column model control via Modbus TCP
Kozovský, Matúš ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The aim of the work is the introduction of the basic technologies of web servers and the subsequent design and implementation of applications designed for web-server which will be used for communication with the distillation column model to create a simple and intuitive user interface for monitoring the state of the model and possible management model. This application will also use SQL server to backup the production process and message logging.
Regulation of air conditioning in Buffer station
Kočka, Jakub ; Pohl, Lukáš (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis is focused to control of air conditioning in buffer station for traction line. This regulation is described and implemented as a firmware for B&R PLC’s.
Solar Glass Conveyor Test Loop
Holčík, Martin ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This master thesis deals with current possibilities on field of automation material transport systems in manufacture. Based on demands of conveyor-system behavior, work offers possible solution for automatic conveyor loop system, which is used later for evaluate efficiency, wear and mechanical problems and opportunities for possible future improvements. Work describes hardware and engineering software which is used for programming and parameterization.
Automation Measurement System
Zálešák, Marek ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The follow text describes National Instruments Company's program LabVIEW and bus GPIB. The main part of the text solves the motion and description of software, which was created by help of LabWIEV program for Automation Measurement System. In conclusion of this work are the demonstration and results of control measurements, which were generated by this measuring system.
Software Car Wash model
Zborovský, Vojtěch ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on portal car wash lines and associated processes, control systems, SCADA control systems and visualization, communication between master PLC and SCADA system. The thesis contains research concerning this topic, laboratory example design and its realization. Reader will become acquainted with SCADA systems and ControlWeb which also belongs to the SCADA systems group. Detailed description of the designed program along with its features, control design using PLC and virtual model of the car wash line controlled by the PLC is also to be found in this work. Both of these two parts have been developed using ControlWeb. Regarding the complexity, the laboratory example was designed only as a demonstration, which differs from a real life solution. All the operations associated with the model are represented only as memory entries inside the PLC, no physical input output operations have been performed here. However, the designed control program is ready to be used in real physical model, the financial side would be significant.
Communication between PLC S7-1500 and relational database
Novotný, Jiří ; Holek, Radovan (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The thesis deals with the communication methods between the PLC S7-1500 and the database system and it focuses primarily on the possibilities of direct communication, i.e. without the need to use additional software. The thesis presents many of the available solutions, both commercial and freely available. Subsequently, attention is paid to the actual direct communication solution. A solution will be proposed and a~simple application will be implemented demonstrating direct communication between a~Siemens S7-1500 PLC and a Microsoft SQL Server database system. The communication is based on the TDS communication protocol. The implemented application allows direct communication with the database using basic SQL language commands. This solution is competitive with the most currently used indirect communication methods.
