Current business environment of India and its relations with the Czech Republic

The bachelor's thesis focuses on India and aims for evaluation of its current business environment and its relations with the Czech Republic. The PEST analysis, which divides business environment in several fields: political, economic, social and technological; is used for this purpose. The strengths and weaknesses of the Indian business environment are identified on the basis of the analysis. The next part of the thesis pursues trade and economic cooperation of India and the Czech Republic and also seeks opportunities that Indian market can offer to Czech entrepreneurs.

The topic of this thesis is to analyse the impact of Slovak innovation policy on trade balance. The aim of this thesis is to assess how Slovak Republic uses innovation policy instruments to support innovation and enhance competitiveness. I analyzed basic macroeconomic indicators, indicators of innovation performance comparison through the European Innovation Scoreboard and analysis of the trade balance. I evaluated Slovak innovation policy at the conclusion of the thesis.
The European Coal Market and the Position of the Czech Republic on It

This thesis deals with the description of current events happening on the world coal market, especially in Europe and in the Czech Republic. The paper summarizes the findings of the international movement of particular industrial types of coal, their pricing on a global and regional level and their use in associated industries. The paper shows available volumes of global coal reserves and based on these and formerly mentioned data it predicts the future development in the coal industry.
Afghanistan's business environment and development of trade relations with the Czech Republic

The point of this work is to introduce and evaluate the business environment of Afghanistan. Each chapter characterizes one aspect of the PEST analysis covering the political, legislative, economic, social, cultural and technological aspects. The chapters analyze a number of factors for example corruption, the conditions for safety, relations with foreign countries, macroeconomic indicators, foreign trade of the country, available telecommunication technologies, specifics of business negotiations and the behavior of the Afghani. One chapter focuses on the development of diplomatic relations and business contacts between the Czech Republic and Afghanistan. The last chapter evaluates the business environment of Afghanistan based on a number of selected factors.
The contemporary Czech art on the domestic and the global art market

The goal of this thesis is to analyse trends of the contemporary Czech art on the domestic market and possibilities of the contemporary Czech artists to succeed on the international art market. The firts part of the thesis describes specific forms of contemporary art and their position on the art market. The main factors influencing contemporary art prices are mentioned. The next chapter is concentrated on trends of contemporary art in comparison with the other segments of the art market. The third chapter is focused on development of the contemporary art on the domestic market. It analyses the present situation on the Czech art market and explores the potential of the contemporary Czech art. The last part of the thesis evaluates a success rate of the contemporary Czech art on the global art market.
Indian luxury goods market

The main goal of the Batchelor's thesis is to analyse the real potential of Indian market of luxury goods. The first chapter gives theoretical base for further analyse, it defines luxury, describes luxury marketing and outlines world luxury market and highlights the biggest markets with luxury goods. The second chapter starts with PEST analysis of the Indian business environment and focuses directly on the Indian luxury market, its history is mentioned, the key trends are defined and typical Indian luxury consumer is described. Moreover, the impact of financial crisis on this market is illustrated. The last chapter interprets all the possibilities of the market. Three case studies, ended by SWOT analysis, of French LVMH, Indian Forest Essential and Czech Lasvit are included there and also the opportunities for Czech luxury brands are explained. Finally, the prediction for next 5 year is covered in the final chapter.
Current state of the investment climate in Vietnam

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the current state of the investment climate in Vietnam and the main investment advantages of Vietnam as a country that received considerable inflows of foreign capital in the 1990s as part of its increased integration with the global economy. The theoretical part defines terms of the investment environment such as investment, the investment climate and further definition of the legislative investment conditions for potential investors. The next section is focused on specific impacts of foreign investment on the Vietnamese economy, both in the economic but also the social sphere. In the final section, there are described the examples of foreign investments in Vietnam and also their contribution to the host country.

The first chapter deals with characteristic, classic and alternative use of rice. The second chapter describes the market situation thru production, prices development and largest traders. It describes also the most important organizations, which affect the world market of rice. The third and last chapter deals with estimate of future development of the market. The first part of it describes new trends like ¨Golden rice¨and ¨Bio rice¨ and also innovations necessary for future development of the rice market. The last part of the thesis contains estimates of future production, international business, prices and consumption development.
