The aim of my thesis is to analyze and describe the current business environment in Slovakia. Slovakia is a relatively small country, but it is also one of the most open economies in the world. It is therefore very important for the current government to support domestic as well as foreign entrepreneurs and thus improve its competitiveness. In order to achieve this, it is necessary to increase the volume of investment incentives, strengthening innovation policy and the development of support programs for small and medium enterprises. In addition to these measures, it is also important to work to remove barriers to business such as administrative burden, high levels of corruption and poor law enforcement.
