Tools and methods for measuring and reducing risk

The content of this thesis is a critical analyze of the current methods of risk reduction in a company engaged in food production. Based on the obtained information to suggest methods for measuring and reducing risks in the field of staff and food industry. The food industry comes up with a lot of characteristics of the field, such as professional staffing, increasing demands on the level of hygiene (as part of the enforcement authorities, and by consumers) as well as keeping pace with new trends and technologies. The main contribution of this work is to show how the selected company can deal with the risks and survive in a highly competitive environment.

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the current situation of selected organizations and to propose a strategy to strengthen its competitiveness. In this work, an analysis of internal and external environment. The last part was the SWOT analysis, which in turn came from the strategy that company should follow.
Analysis of the internal environment of a selected company

The aim of this work is to evaluate the current situation of the company by analyzing the internal environment. Based on the findings then suggest an optimal strategy for the enterprise, which would improve its market position. The internal environment was assessed by analyzing the results in different functional areas. Analyzed areas are finance, marketing and human resources. Was also carried out a SWOT analysis, from which came the strategy which should further drive business.
