Mobile Objects Tracking Module
Famfulík, Lukáš ; Zamazal,, Michal (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to innovate NCL 07 unit made by NAM system a.s. The new device is intended to have improved parameters and diminished dimensions. It should be fully comparable to similar products on market. In the first part there are described features and individual circuits of NCL07 unit. Further there is done an analysis to suggest modifications leading to reduce proportions of DPS and to enhance other parameters including SW design improvement. Theoretical part deals with selection of main measured values and methods of verification of measurement accuracy. There is also described theoretical basis used in the oncoming sections of the thesis. In the practical part there are presented procedures of designs of innovated product. In the conclusion there will be made testing of new unit and results will be compared to competitive commodities.
Uninterruptible Power Supply with Solar Panel
Kreysa, Karel ; Dřínovský, Jiří (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on a project and realization of uninterruptible power supply with the solar panel. The whole system will be instrumental towards supplying gauging radar station without any other possibility to get more electrical energy from the grid (230V). The most important argument for the project is the project is the effectiveness of sthe systems which should prevent losses in the network and unusing energy supplying by the panel. The aim of work is to create a scheme of a suitable leading storage battery type which will be used for saving energy made by the panel. Last but not least is to present the properties of storage battery to prevent wrong manipulating which could cause an effective life reduction or its total destruction. Then a circuit scheme of the back up system will follow. For this, a desk of printed circuits is going to be drawn up and set up. The final part of this thesis will concern a measuring of the whole system both in laboratory and real conditions and an analysis of the resulting parameters of the back up system.
Switching Power Supply with Planar Transformer
Pawlas, Andrzej ; Vorel, Pavel (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This master's thesis describes the development of switching power supply with planar transformer. Deals with selection of a suitable integrated circuit together with the topology, a purchase of prototype for the reference measurements and debugging its own power supply. Further design and implementation of planar transformer and in the final implementation, debugging, and measurment's its own prototype. Power supply was fully functional and reached the expected parameters.
Independent Positioner Controlled by Microcontroller
Bordovský, Tomáš ; Povalač, Aleš (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
The project is focused on an analysis and design of an autonomous positioning system with high precision for an astronomical telescope or another device. Although, there are already such devices in the market, so they are too expensive for common people. These systems are used in the astronomy, radio-amateur communication and robotics or for optimum positioning of the solar panel. In this paper, requirements on construction of system working in wide range of conditions, electronic subsystems, control algorithms, and calibration method are analyzed. There are also complete circuit diagrams and printed circuit boards, also the built-up parts of the positioner are presented.
Wireless Remote Controller for Linear Repeater
Veselý, Tomáš ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Rumánek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The project deals with the problems of the wireless remote control of the linear repeater. The implementation is devided into two function parts. The first part is a network focusing on the input of instructions by the user, processing of the information, displaying the actual setting and sending the information on the given instructions. The second part deals with processing of the given information from the first part and its discharging. Both parts are controlled by the microprocessors.
Intelligent charger for Pb accumulators
Hadwiger, Tomáš ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor project deals with lead accumulator charging. The properties of this acumulator charger are described here and the best possible way of charging has been based on these properties. The capacity of the accumulators has also been taken into account. The charger itself is able to distinguish between the twelve-volt and the six-volt accumulator. The charger prevents accumulators from overcharging and does not charge damaged ones.It also contains the protection against reversing polarity. The project contains complete scheme, DSP layout, lists of components and their placement on the DPS. The design of the transformator suitable for the charger is also included.
Low Altitude FM Radioaltimeter
Pítra, Kamil ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Józsa, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor thesis is to design a Low altitude FM radioaltimeter based on heterodyne frequency measurement. Radiolocator works in 5,760 GHz frequency band. Its design is based on solving peripheral circuits. There are no RF modules used. Design of each of them is supported by simulations and measurements.
Communication with external devices by I2C bus
Prax, Jakub ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
This diploma paper deals with the data bus line I2C and a supportive demonstration tool for the subject Microprocessor technology taught at the Radioelectronics faculty. The data bus line I2C is convenient when short-distance data transmission with restricted spatial possibilities is required but high velocity of data transmission is not necessary. The tool is compiled in such a way that enables it to also perform other tasks apart from those dealing with the I2C data bus line. The data bus line in the tool is utilized for transmission of date, time, temperature, data for the D/A converter, data from and to the EEPROM memory and data to 16 bits expander.
Spectrum Analyzer up to 500 MHz
Čada, David ; Vimperk), Tomáš Baráth (Rohde Schwarz (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This project deals with design and realization of the spectrum analyser using double superheterodyne topology with frequency range up to 500MHz. This work solves hardware blocks like phase lock loops, intermediate frequency filters, saw filter, crystal filter, logarithmic detector. Content of work is also design description and tuning of spectrum analyzer parts.
High Order Modulation Digital Modulator
Žižka, Josef ; Hubík,, Vladimír (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
The object of this work is to meet readers with the basic principle and solution of high order digital modulator with integrated circuit AD9957 produced by the company Analog Devices. Block diagram and final scheme of the modulator and device construction is presented. Standard USB interface for communication, control and data transmission between modulator and host represented by personal computer is applied. The project describes following parts of the designed system: PCB layout, control firmware of MCU and application program running under PC. In the conclusion, chosen results of measurement are described and evaluated.
