Wild hunt phenomenon and its alteration in time

(in English) This bachelor thesis is focusing on issues of Wild Hunt phenomenon and its alteration in time. Main focus of this thesis is to create coherent view on basis of phenomenon with first explaining the basic idea of mythological phenomenon Wild Hunt, its history from mythological sources through medieval to present popular culture. Next it is trying to outline range of it and following the alteration of phenomenon in time. For this purpose it is using the folklorist's collections, which include our studied phenomenon, but also popular literature and another reference in popular culture which it is comparing in conclusion. The concept of classes in the history of social thought and contemporary sociology

This thesis is a theoretical-historical attribute and focuses on the theory of classes and class conflict, on the genesis of the concept of class. The thesis will analyze the authors and directions-schools that have had an impact on the ideological founder of the concept Karl Marx and also how they developed their thinking. Marx nor any other author of the term "class, classes, class" never clearly defined. It is a historical and sociological perspective on the concept of "class", which is often defined differently, and still there is any clear definition, which would approve whole academic community. In modern societies, the term "class" is not used so often and has been replaced by the concept of social stratification. In recent years, the "classes" being discussed by worldwide experts, but the solution is still not found. Nevertheless, this work is optimistic and the author clearly advocates that the term "class" will not vanish from professional sociological discourse.
Small groups in city (to the issue of folklore associations)

The Diploma Work deals with folklore groups in Prague. It tries to map theirs foundation and development considering the aim of their foundation and regions from their members come. In the first chapter there is a list of the majority of groups and regional associations which perform non Prague folklore. In the next two chapters there I concentrate on two selected groups in great detail. These are Slovácký krúžek, the oldest still active regional association in Prague and the dulcimer music Kyčera. Kyčera is a hobby group serving to presentation of Wallachian folklore to the public through its performances and also through musical accompaniment of the dancing group Krušpánek and the children folklore group Vonička. At the end of my work there are presented conclusions arising from description of groups itself.
Taltos in Hungarian Culturae Tradition

The aim is to introduce a character of Táltoše in all its complexity. Táltos occurs mainly in Hungarian folklore. It is assumed that in rural environment are kept magic-religious beliefs of Proto-hungarians. Based on comparison of world beliefs Ugro-Finnish and Ural-Altaic ethnic groups of Siberia with the Hungarian folk tradition scientists try to prove that the original function of Táltos was the same as shaman held in Siberian ethnic groups. In the European environment, there are characters with the same attributes which dispose Táltos as well. For this reason, some scientists inclined to an European-Slavic origin. However, at the present Táltos is considered in Hungarian society as a shaman and therefore the scientists try to build on its old religious tradition. The perception of Celtic culture in Czech society

Presented Bachelor thesis is devoted to perception of Celtic culture in contemporary Czech society with great emphasis on some charakteristic symptoms, which are often labeled as so called celtomania. It is a phenomenon whose origin can be traced to 18th century in British Isles and France. From there, the wave of so called celtomania have spread to the other European countries. In the Czech Republic it was most apparent after 1989, after the fall of communist regime. For example, different clubs focused on Celtic culture were established. The purpose of this work is to describe this increased interest in Celts in our country with taking into consideration the mentioned situation in north-western Europe.
An Impact of Reemigration on National Identity

Introduced diploma thesis presents the results of the research project which investigated the impact on the national identity. The goal of the research project was to find out with a help of the quality research, in detail an anchored theory, the central phenomenon in the perception of the national identity. The results of the anchored theory shows, that this phenomenon is level of adaptation of the individual on the environment respectively level of acculturation and flowingly level of reintegration. Intervene conditions, such as strategy of the handling of the stress situations, work success or family and friends' bounds also influence this phenomenon. Main context line in this direction presents emigration and re-emigration of the individual with all the possible causes and intervene conditions. Important part of the context line is the fact of the leaving of the individual itself, including his or hers preparation for leaving the country. This in its' nature determines even the process of acculturation of the individual in emigration with the impact on the perception of the national identity. Radotín's athletics in a local and a wider contexts (from a social-historical perspective)

The objective of the diploma thesis was to find out how an athletic club in Radotín functioned and was transformed mainly over the period from 1963 to 2010. The diploma thesis provides deeper findings about the relationship of local and all-national trends in sport as well as the institutional framework of sport in ČSSR and ČR. Nine research questions were defined to restrict the otherwise very wide problem area: Is there any similarity in the development of athletics at the local and all-national level? How does the performance of athletes change in an athletic club? How does the content of data registered in training diaries change? How does the catchment area for an athletic club change? How does the competition of an athletic club represented by other sports clubs or leisure time interest groups change? How does the hinterland and the equipment of an athletic club change? How does the approach of schools in the catchment area of an athletic club change? How has the institutional framework of approach to sport (athletics) changed after 1989? The questions were answered using quantitative and qualitative data. The collective memory of the forcibly ejected inhabitants: the oral history of Neveklov ant its neighbourhood during the 2nd World War

This Rigorous Thesis is the benefit to studying of the questions of the oral history of forcibly ejected inhabitants of Neveklov and its neighbourhoods during the 2nd World War. About this region, there exists authentic testimony and this territory is fixed in the collective memory. The oral history is a highly valued literary source. Its value is in the authenticity, which is characterized by selectivity and represents another point of view. The essay brings the unique opportunity to get acquainted with witnesses of the wartime. At present this testimony is unknown or is being forgotten in the offical documents. The essay follows the researches of Jaromír Jech from the middle of the last century. If we compare the results of both researches, we get the view of the importance of forcible displacement of Czech inhabitants in a demarcated region. Result of this work is the analysis of the results obtained with the help of the modern approaches that are based on the method of the oral history, which is a part of the qualitative research, with an emphasis on general objectives and context.
