Studium interakce adsorbátu s pasivovanými povrchy Si pomocí STM
Matvija, Peter ; Kocán, Pavel (advisor) ; Švec, Martin (referee)
The scanning tunneling microscopy is used to study the morphology of Tl adlayer in various stages of Tl desorption from the Si(111) surface and to study behaviour of various adsorbates on the Si(111)/Tl-(1 × 1). The utilization of thallium layer for passivation of the Si(111) was examined closely for various adsorbates. Manganese, aluminium, indium and tin layers which were directly deposited onto the Si(111)-(7 × 7) were compared with the layers prepared by deposition of adsorbate onto the passivating layer after the subsequent thermal desorption of Tl (after annealing at ≈ 400◦ C). Examined adsorbates exhibited signs of extremely high diffusivity and weak bond with the surface Si(111)/Tl- (1 × 1). The passivating layer was stable against the adsorbates. The application of thallium in the role of surfactant caused lowering of temperature and coverage needed for the preparation of reconstructions which were observed on the surfaces prepared by the direct deposition of adsorbate. 1
Premiums in life insurance
Švec, Martin ; Zamazal, David (advisor) ; Branda, Martin (referee)
In the present thesis we study with-profit policy in life insurance. First we intro- duce general information about profit sharing and basic terms. We shortly look at the life insurance legislation. In the main part of thesis we look at three me- thods of calculation profit sharing and thereafter own method will be suggested. In second part of thesis we describe cash-flow model of life insurance implemented in iWorks Prophet Software. All methods with various economic scenarios and with various parameters settings will be tested in this model. Finally we analyse results of projections, we compare cash-flow for important variables a we describe advantages and disadvantages for every method.
Liability of a member state for damage
Švec, Martin ; Tomášek, Michal (advisor) ; Svoboda, Pavel (referee)
Resumé Intangible assets of the individuals and their legal protection are the building stones of the modern democratic state of the 21st century. Their protection against state authority is the privilege which the modern civilized law provides. European Community represents legal structure which, to substantial extent, forms this modern law and moves forward. Primary law of the European Community does not directly regulate liability of the state for harm caused by violation of the Community law by its authority. European Court of Justice has deduced from the principles based on which the European Community has been established, that existence of such liability is inhere principles to which European Community accords. According article 220 of the EC Treaty has European Court of Justice responsibility for supervising fulfillment of the law by interpretation and implementation of this Treaty. This supervision is primarily governed by principle effet utile which imposes duty to interpret Community standards in such way that will reach the targets set by EC Treaty. Principle liability of the state for harm caused to the individual by violation of the Community law has been for the first time explicitly defined by Court of Justice in the case of Francovich and Bonifaci v Italy. Court of Justice is in its...
Modern accumulators and their usage in agriculture
Švec, Martin ; Papežová, Stanislava (advisor) ; Ryzhenko, Volodymyr (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with independent electrical power sources , technical parameters of batteries , battery types , cost effectiveness in use and their potential use in agriculture according to the types of agricultural machinery, equipment and systems . The thesis de-scribes the economic evaluation of old and modern batteries. It compares the efficiency of the batteries and mentions the current use of advanced batteries in practice.
Assessing Selected Indicators of a Company Using Statistical Methods
Šardická, Kateřina ; Švec, Martin (referee) ; Doubravský, Karel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on assessing selected indicators of the company by using statistical methods. This analysis is done by means of selected methods. Based on the financial statements, the financial analysis is performed over eight years, from 2007 to 2014. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part the theoretical background to a certain issue is analyzed. The second part consists of the general characteristics of the company and financial analysis by the statistical methods. The last part of the thesis is focused on some suggestions how to improve the financial situation of the company.
