The regeneration of competitive swimmers on the basis of physiotherapeutic methods
ŠIMÁČKOVÁ, Jana
This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of regeneration of competitive swimmers. Competitive swimming belongs to physically very demanding sports. Wrong swimming technique, overload and lack of relaxation often cause health problems. That is why it is important to make also a suitable form of relaxation part of the training, f.e. compensation exercises. The first goal of my thesis is to chart the use of regeneration techniques with competitive swimmers. My other goal is to describe the practical use of physiotherapeutic techniques in compensation exercises as part of the competitive swimmers training. In the theoretical part swimming is characterized from the point of view of a physiotherapist as well as its positive and negative influence on human body. The next chapter describes the individual swimming styles. A part of the theory also focuses on postural and phasic muscles. The last chapter deals with regeneration in sports and focuses on its forms and means. The practical part was done with the method of qualitative research in the form of evaluating casuistry of three competitive swimmers. To collect data the input and output kinesiological analysis, semi-structured dialogue and own observation were used. An individual plan was made for each swimmer based on the results of the input examination containing compensation exercises and other regeneration techniques. The whole therapy took 3-4 months. The results of the practical part of my bachelor thesis are mostly positive. Shortened muscles were stretched, weakened muscles were strengthened and hypertonic muscles were relaxed during the therapy with all swimmers. Only with swimmer no 3 the muscle tonus augmented in the region of her left shoulder in the end of the therapy because of an injury in her swimming training. All swimmers noticed slight amelioration of their overall posture. The chosen physiotherapeutic techniques proved themselves effective. My bachelor thesis may be an information and inspiration source for physiotherapists, coaches and sportsmen.

Šimáčková, Jana ; Jirkovský, Daniel (advisor) ; Dorková, Zlatica (referee)
Bachelor thesis "Work adaptation of graduates in the field General Nurse" deals with the entry of graduates into employment. The adaptation process at the workplace is a very important period in life of every graduate. This process helps us to transition smoothly into our professions. The work place is a check of our theoretical and practical knowledge and it helps us to attain a new wealth of knowledge. During this adaptation process, nurses should acclimatise themselves to new working conditions. Also it is important that they should be able to work along with their new colleagues. A good adaptation process at the work place is a prerequisite for professional growth in other areas too. The aim of my bachelor thesis is to find and describe factors affecting the adaptation of nursing graduates at the workplace. I would like to research the motivation level of the graduates, contentment level at work and the satisfaction level with their supervisors. I plan to accomplish this with the aid of questionnaires. Finally, I would like to perform primary data analysis and compare my results with similar research .
