The effect of operating position of the light source on the photometric parameters

The theses discusses how operating position and ambient temperature affect electric light sources. For the purposes of this theses, the analysis of light radiation, the description and the principle of taking measurements of light quantities are included. The work also contains the principle of function, construction and parameters of light sources. For each light source a hypothesized impact of the operating position of the light source and the impact of ambient temperature variation on radiated luminous flux are stated. For selected light sources a measurement of the impact of the operating position on the sources’ photometric parameters was taken. The output measurement data are being compared to the theoretical hypotheses. The conclusion of the thesis describes suggested recommendations for the operation of light sources based on both theoretical and practical parts of the thesis.

Discomfort glare of non-uniform luminaires

In the field of lighting technology, glare evaluation is one of the basic parameters of determining the quality of lighting systems. Disturbing glare is most often evaluated by UGR in internal systems. The UGR method is well described and verified for uniform glare sources. With the development of LED, non-uniform sources of glare become involved in the lighting system. Thus verification of UGR suitability for non-uniform sources is necessary and possibly modification of the method or replacement it by another more appropriate method is required. This diploma thesis focuses on evaluation methods of disturbing glare from luminaires with non-uniform radiation surface. For this purpose, the thesis includes glare analysis, methods of glare calculation and glare evaluation. Furthermore, the UGR analysis and modification for the calculation of disturbing glare from non-uniform glare sources are included. The practical part is concentrated on measurement of glare from uniform and non-uniform glare sources. For the purpose of evaluating the suitability of the measurement method, the subjective evaluation of glare from a statically significant sample is included in the thesis.

Deposition of GaN nano structures on Si(111) 7x7

The thesis is focused on the study of growth of 2D GaN nanocrystals on Si(111) 7x7. In the theoretical part of this thesis the properties of 3D and 2D GaN, main methods used for growth of GaN and 2D GaN and applications of GaN are described. The experimental part of this thesis describes in detail the method of low temperature droplet epitaxy with assistance of ions, which was used for series of deposition of 2D GaN under different angles of ion beam. The deposition was done in the complex UHV system in the ÚFI VUT labs in Brno. The nanocrystals were analysed by SEM and AFM.

The work of a winegrower in the Šatov area (radio reportage)

The main goal of this practical bachelor's thesis is to introduce to the listener the life and work of a winegrower, specifically a winegrower from southern Moravia (Znojmo). Especially during the harvest in autumn, which marks the real beginning of a months- long process of making wine. This thesis consists of two parts; practical and theoretical. The goal of the practical part of this thesis is introducing and describing the processes of the beginning of the wine production, the overall atmosphere, and the people present. The outcome is a reportage, useable in a radio broadcast. The theoretical part is focused mostly on the radio reportage and its specifics, then on its similarities with the closest broadcast genres and on comparing them, to distinguish them from one another in their nuances.

The Law and Regulation of Payment Services

The Law and Regulation of Payment Services Abstract The thesis deals with the subject of payment services, especially in the context of the Payment Services Directive 2, which recently came into force. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate which activities on the financial market are subject to regulation of payment services, to identify the persons authorised to provide payment services and to analyse certain rights and obligations arising between payment service users and payment service providers. The author also tries to analyse the changes brought by the Payment Services Directive 2 into the Czech law and considers the possible impact of such legislation on the payment services market and on the persons operating on it. The thesis is divided into five chapters, the first chapter deals with individual payment services; the second chapter defines activities that are out of the scope of payment services. The next chapter contains an overview of both Czech and EU law applicable to payment services, payment service providers and their activities. Issues of criminal liability of legal entities

The topic of this Master's thesis is the analysis of criminal liability of legal entities in the Czech republic that is contained in the Act no. 418/2011 Sb., on Criminal Liability of Legal Entities and Procedure against them, which was adopted on 22. 12. 2011. It is a topical isuue, which still contains a lot of unanswered questions. The aim of the thesis is to familiarize the reader with this new institute in the Czech legal system, with which there are not many practical experiences yet. Taking into account the extent of the thesis, it does not include a comprehensive analysis, but it focuces on key issues in the legal regulation. The work is also dedicated to the regulation of this institute in the Spanish legal system. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with general issues that are related to the criminal liability of legal entities. It presents the historic development, models of liability of legal entities for offences, international regulation, corporate criminal liability in the Common law system and the reasons for and against introducing criminal liability of legal entities into legal system. Analysis of the determinants of consumption of selected agricultural products

This thesis deals with the econometric modelling of selected factors affecting the consumption of wheat bakery products in the Czech Republic and Austria between 1995 and 2014. There is a gluten problematic mentioned in the theoretical part and its impact on human organism, followed by an explanation of the consumer s behaviour and his reaction to the development of the price of the goods and his income. The thesis itself is divided into two parts. In the first part there are the time series analyses which are then investigated for their suitability for the subsequent modelling. The second part focuses on the construction of a single-equation model of the wheat bakery products consumption using an econometrical model. Finally there is a quantification of the impact of the individual factors on the wheat bakery products consumption in these two countries based on the coefficients of elasticity.
