American-Mexican relations at the beginning of 21st century

Mexico and the USA -- developing country with only a short tradition of democracy and world number one economy having always the main role in terms of international relations between countries -- they seem to be so different countries. But in real they have a lot in common. And it is not only that they are close to each other geographically, they also have common history that connects them and so common future. They are important trading partners to each other so they need to cooperate and communicate as well. The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to compare the differences between the two countries, to analyze both economics, to highlight their connections and to find the possibilities how to improve their relations in the conclusion.

Comparison of hip joint offset in resurfacing arthroplasty and standard total hip arthroplasty. Summary The subject of this work is to compare a hip joint biomechanical parameters after two different operations, after a standard total hip arthroplasty and after hip surface replacement. Material and method: A group of twenty five patients with a hip surface replacement has been processed in a statistical way, their average age was 55 years (from 34 to 66 years), next a group of thirty patients with a standard total hip arthroplasty and the average age was 62 years in this group (from 46 to 72 years). Anteroposterior radiographs of the pelvis with inside rotation about 15{$\rm^o$} was taken of all patients. The measured biomechanical parameters were femoral offset and femoral length, cup offset and cup height. For statistical processing the total offset was defined as a sum of the femoral offset and cup offset, hip length was defined as femoral length minus cup height. Postoperative measured data of an operated hip joint were compared with preoperative data. Statistical analysis has been done by a paired t-test. Results: The patients, who underwent an operation of hip surface replacement, were in average by 7.8 years younger than the patients with a standard total hip arthroplasty. Men predominated in the group with surface replacement and women predominated in the group with a standard total hip arthroplasty. Preoperative measured data were approximately identical in both groups. In the group with a surface replacement the postoperative total offset has increased in average by 0.04 cm (p=0.79) and hip length has decreased in average by 0.41 cm (p=0.0001). The postoperative total offset has decreased in average by 0.83 cm (p=5x10-5) in the group with a standard total hip arthroplasty and the postoperative hip length has decreased in average by 1.49 cm (p=6.17x10-5). Conclusion: On the basis of taken paired t-tests the hypothesis can be substantiated that a surface replacement restores hip joint physiological conditions better than a standard total hip arthroplasty.

Selected Aspects of the Use of Documentary Credits in International Trade

This diploma thesis deals in detail with the matter of amendments to documentary credits. The amendments are analysed in terms of their causes, subjects that may initiate their execution, and their process itself. Also analysis of respective articles of interpretation rules UCP 600 relating to credit's amendments is included. Prior to the above mentioned analysis of amendments there is a part regarding the term of documentary credit, its process, regulation and contemporary position in international trade. In the connection with credit amendments the attention is given to the techniques of their execution, namely through the SWIFT system. The subject of the last part of the thesis is the quantitative analysis of credit amendments on the example of the analysis of real transactions which are assessed from various points of view. Statistical analyses are carried out aiming at considering of the existence of the relation between the region of the credit applicant and the number of credit amendments and between the credit amount and the number of amendments.

Cílem bakalářské práce je navrhnout racionalizaci systému podnikového řízení akciové společnosti Alžbětiny Lázně, na základě analýzy současného systému podnikového řízení společnosti. Analýza systému podnikového řízení (SPŘ) společnosti vyžaduje nejprve rozdělení do šesti subsystémů, které se pak analyzují samostatně. Součinnost a vzájemná provázanost analyzovaných subsystémů je poté zhodnocena v kapitole synergie.

Ostatní firmy působící ve zbrojařském průmyslu neustále zvyšují svoji konkurenceschopnost, proto se Česká zbrojovka rozhodla provést analýzu nákladů ve výrobním úseku s cílem podstatně snížit náklady. Po provedení analýzy bylo zjištěno, že jedna z největších položek nákladů je logistika (přeprava) materiálu a součástek. Práce popisuje reorganizaci výrobního procesu, jehož cílem je přispět ke snížení nákladů, zvýšit efektivitu výrobního procesu a zvýšit konkurenceschopnost celého podniku.

Práce popisuje celý výrobní proces firmy vyrábějící akordeony. Cílem práce je naleznout doporučení na zefektivnění výroby. Práce popisuje podrobný postup výroby akordeonů, objevuje slabé místo - poptávku, kterou blíže analyzuje prostřednictvím analýzy odběratelů a podpůrných marektingových činností. Dále se snaží zlepšit situaci ve vnitropodnikové logistice.

Operativní řízení výroby v TTK CZ eurookna

Práce se zabývá operativním řízením výroby ve společnosti vyrábějící dřevěná eurookna a vchodové dveře. V práci popisuji obchodní případ a řízení neshodného produktu. Charakterizuji operativní evidenci, zejména průvodku výrobní zakázky a protokol o neshodách. Zkoumám možnost využítí operativní evidence pro dlouhodobé řízení neshod. V závěru navrhuji souhrnný dokument pro záznam neshod, který bude společnost využívat při přijímání preventivních opatření.
