The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is a study of a traffic bypass around village Zastávka which is situated in South Moravia region approximately 20 km from city Brno to south-west. First one is connected to existing communications I/23 near to Rosice and goes to Tetcice, Babice u Rosic, Zbysov and Zakrany where its again connected to existing communications I/23. Second variant is way shorter and it is connected to oncoming bypass around Rosice and goes over Babicky les to existing communications I/23 where its connected close to Zakrany as well
Road I/43 in stage Milonice - Krhov - Safety Inspection
Čechová, Zuzana ; Simandl, Arnošt (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The aim of my diploma thesis is to solve vehicle traffic safety and technical conditions on road I/43, research specific dangerous parts, subsequent evaluationandprocessing of individualpoint defects. It´s a 10km long section between Milonice and Krhov, approximately25km north from Brno. In total I found 4 defect points, which should be solved before realization of new motorway project R/43, which will replace existing I/43. The first defect point is in close proximity of Milonice village, there is an inconvenient intersection of I/43 with III/31775. There is a huge traffic intensity on road I/43 and an absence of turning lane on the left side. Second defect point is in village Závist, where is unsuitable connection from MK to I/43 and behind village is big longitudinalinclination, which is not suitable for slow vehicles. Third defect point is concerning the area between Závist and Černá Hora villages. There are unsuitable directional, high-altitude solutions, longitudinal inclinations and a crosswise arranged road. The last defect point is the horizon on road I/43 near village Krhov, this part of the road is the most dangerous section. On the horizon is an unsuitably planned project with a combination of directional, high-altitude solutions and transverse arrangement of roads with non-standard finishes ascending road lanes. I tried to solved defect points in the best possible way and to depict suggested action.

Competitiveness of Human Capital. Influence of Human Capital Investments On the Firm's Competitiveness
Čechová, Zuzana ; Zadražilová, Dana (advisor) ; Pražská, Lenka (referee) ; Filipová, Alena (referee) ; Mannová, Martina (referee)
The role of human capital in the overall economic development towards knowledge economy and innovations is fundamental. Without human resources, which make up the essence of human capital, we would have no innovative products or services, no new strategies and processes. The development and continuous increase of human capital is one of the prerequisites of an economic growth. The aim of this research was to test the effects of human capital investments on the economic results of enterprises. The research was based on an extensive questionnaire survey, which was further completed with expert interviews. The interviewees were HR professionals from selected companies. The main hypothesis was formed as an assumption about a positive dependence between human capital investments and economic successfulness of companies represented with value added per employee. The hypothesis was verified at a high significance level. Further this work tries to find answers to several key questions related to the main hypothesis: What are the key competences of a competitive human capital in the Czech companies? How can companies efficiently invest into the human capital in order to increase the company's competitiveness? What is the role of companies as the initiators of human capital development? How did the economic crisis change the companies' attitude towards human capital investments? The work further proposes how to diminish the main inefficiencies of companies' investments in human capital. Great attention is also paid to the comparison of various sources that measure and compare the volume of human capital in the Czech Republic.
