The Plumbing Systems in the Dwelling House

Abstract This bachelor´s work was worked out as project documentation of piping system and sewerage system in a block of flats. The building has got 1 underground floor and 8 above – ground floors. In the underground we can find a technical room and storage rooms for residents of this building. There are flats on above-ground floors. Next part of this work are calculations dealing with this project. There is a research dealing with piping systems in high buildings too.

Residential Rainwater Harvesting

The aim of this work is to approach the issue of the use of rainwater in building constructions. This water is widely used for routine activities in the home, which contributes to saving drinking water. At the beginning of my work I focused on what water actually is, and a brief description of each treatment on the basis of their quality. In the first part of about reasons for rainwater management and access to the use of water collection at home and abroad. The second part describes possibilities of application of rainwater in the home. Describes the concept of the need for water, which is essential for the design of the facility. The design of tank is explained in part 3, where I describe the factors affecting the amount of water collected. The following chapters are focusing on individual elements making up the system for the management of rainwater. Chapters are divided according to their function, namely: filter portion, accumulation and a section giving water to the "movement".

Heating of Apartment Building

In my bachelor thesis I propose heating and the preparation of hot water in an apartment building in Most. It is a renovated brick house with free floors. In the calculation I deal with the design of heating surfaces, distribution of hot water, hot water preparation and the sources of heat. I designed panel and tubular radiators and floor convectors for the bulding. Hot water, two pipe and symmetric distribution. The house will use the central system of hot water preparation. I selected a separated preparation of hot water for the production of untility hot water and hot water for heating. There will be two boilers installed in the house - a condensing and a low-temperature one. The condensing boiler will serve to prepare hot water for heating and the low temperature boiler for the preparation of hot utility water. The theoretical part will focus on the issue of regulation.

Heating of the Chess Club with Accommodation

The project deals with heating and hot water preparation of the Chess Club in Brno. It is a three-storey building with a flat roof. Heating is mainly dealt with radiators. The heating system is divided into several branches according to the cardinal directions. The condensing gas boiler is the heat source. The theoretical part is focused on the heat sources.

Drainage of Waste Water From the Hotel

The bachelor these’s topic is Drainage of waste water from the hotel. The aim of the bachelor these is designing internal storm and sanitary sewer and designing pretreatment of wastewater from kitchen facilities and storm water from paved surface. The theoretical part of the bachelor these’s topic is pretreatment of wastewater contaminated fat and animal oils (fat traps) and light liquids.
