Management of education (focused on pupils health and socially disadvanteged)

The diploma thesis is focused on problems teaching of elementary school pupils with physical disadvantaged or socially disadvantaged pupils. The number of these pupils is constantly rising in ordinary schools. The present-day school reform makes it possible for schools, with their new educational programmes, to create the conditions for these pupils to individual integration into a regular classroom. The theoretic part deals with alternation in general - how people perceive it, what are its types, directing people during the change etc. Further it deals the problems of deprived or health disadvantaged pupils and their individual integration into a regular school. The practical part of thesis is attended to research investigation. By using of researching methods it analyses the present state of the integration system in one existing elementary school and it also investigates with posibilities of development and alternation. The overall output of the research is creating suggestion of the Integration developing plan.

This thesis is about position of marketing in hospital facilities in the Czech Republic and offers to readers basic information how to realize hospital marketing well. The thesis is divided into two parts. First part concerns in theory of hospital marketing. Second part presents results of research, which is about how can good name of hospital influences a decision of consumer of service-client. The second part also concerned in state of marketing in choice university hospitals. At the same time the second part gives a recommendation how to organize marketing in 3 choice hospitals. The introduction of performance standards to increase the quality of nursing care

This dissertation addresses the issue of quality in healthcare. In particular, it focuses on the quality of nursing care and the related performance standards. The research was conducted on the wards of the Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation Department as well as in the other Intensive Care Units of the same teaching hospital. The theoretical section is divided into two chapters. The first deals with the definition of Quality and its perception from the viewpoint of both the patient and the healthcare professional. The second chapter covers Quality in Nursing and the related nursing care standards. The aim of the research was to assess the knowledge, experience and opinions of the nursing care standards among nursing staff. The results of this survey suggest that the overall level of knowledge among respondents is very good. But - on the wards of the Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation Department, the current situation calls for a more detailed familiarity with the nursing care standards among its nursing staff.
The process of implementation of European Social Fund in the sphere of education in the Czech Republic

In my thesis I am describing background and relationships among actors of the process of implementation of European Social Fund in the sphere of education in the Czech Republic from 2004 to 2006. My work is divided into two blocks: theoretical part and a practical part. The introduction of the theoretical part deals with the framework and structure of implementation of European Social Fund in the Czech Republic. In this part concepts of Community Support Framework Czech Republic 2004 - 2006, Policy of Economic and social Cohesion and its instruments are defined. The theoretical part is concluded with a chapter about creation, evolution and structure of European Social Fund in the Czech Republic in programme period 2004 - 2006. The practical part of my thesis constitutes of a statistical investigation which is focused on the process of implementation of European Social Fund in the sphere of education in the Czech Republic. The aim of my work is to analyse the process and management of European Social Fund in education system, especially the management of Measure 3.1, and to deliver complex description of background of ESF and of its use to improve quality in the education system in the Czech Republic.
Personnel management in organisation - practice in Centre of Gerontology

This dissertation is focused on analysis of personnel management in examinated organisation, uncovering the problematic areas and then suggests a solutions for the deficit removing. The first part of the dissertation is theoretical and offers to the reader information and definitions about the human resources management. It describes the role of human resources management in the structure of the organisation, the function of personnel policy and personnel strategy. It offers a view at the specifics of the personnel management in the small organisations and non-profit organisations providing the services for seniors. An essencial part of the dissertation makes the chapter focused on constituent personnel activities. The key part of the dissertation is the practical part. It is engaged in characterisation of the organisation, desciription of the research methods used for the analyses and brings the results following the research. The results of the dissertation are the suggestions of the concrete recommadations for the optimization of established deficicits in the field of personnel management.
Volunteers motivation for work in health organisation

The theme of the thesis is focused on volunteering in health organisations in the Czech Republic. It consists of two parts. In the theoretical part definitions of fundamental (key) conceptions of volunteer and volunteering are describe, followed by study of special volunteering programme known as " Hospital volunteering". Using qualitative research methods, the aim of the second/empirical part of the thesis is to investigate motivation of volunteers performing in hospitals and another health organisations. With regard to collected data some contribution of the thesis may be seen in order to help coordinators in recruiting and maintaining of volunters in above mentioned programmes.
An assessment of nurses as part of their further education and development

This master's degree thesis focuses on the evaluation of employee performance and its influence on further education and professional development. The work provides a general view on performance evaluation while drawing attention to specifics in health services. Further education and work performance are closely related. To provide for the safe competent care of patients, nurses must continue to both accumulate knowledge and deepen their existing knowledge. In today's rapidly changing conditions in providing care, health service organizations are called upon to provide an environment that supports professional growth. The research part of this thesis answers this call to assess the effectiveness of the employee evaluation system of nurses at the General Faculty Hospital in Prague. The research's objective was to analyse how the system works, as well as the how the evaluation results are used for planning education and development activities for the individual nurses. The methodological basis was the quantitative technique of amassing data conducted via an analysis of documents and questionnaires. This paper focuses on volunteer management and volunteer centers in the Czech Republic and worldwide. It consists of two distinct parts. The first part is devoted to common principles of volunteering and its historical background in the Czech Republic, the United States and EU. Emphasis is also given to programs and purpose of volunteer centers. The aim of the second part is to collect information relating to beginnings of volunteer centers in the Czech Republic by means of qualitative research methods. Another purpose of the research is to provide basic commendations for those who would like to establish a volunteer center in a community. This thesis focuses on the theme of fundraising and describes the change in the organisational structure, which involves the creation of the position of a fundraiser at the non- profit organisation Náruč, z.s. Náruč, z.s. is a provider of complex social services for socially disadvantaged and persons with disabilities. It is also an operator of the social firm Kavárna Modrý domeček (Café Little Blue House), which provides employment opportunities for socially disadvantaged and persons with disabilities. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part consists of a detailed overview of both foreign and domestic funding sources available to NGOs. Fundraising is introduced as a separate discipline. Origin and history of fundraising, different types of fundraisers, tools and methods of fundraising are examined. The practical part presents a case study that deals with the creation of a job position of a fundraiser and integration of this position into an organisational structure of a particular organisation. The implementation process of operative procedures in NGO

The period we live in, is characterised by many changes - changes of economical, political and social life. These changes involve all the subjects of the national economy, including the non - governmental organisations. If these organisations want to work effectively, they have to learn, how the changes can be used for their own profit. At the same time, they have to notify own internal risk factors. There for they can learn management of changes, which has specific tools, above all the human-sources utilisation leading to the realisation of defined objectives. This thesis deals both, the theoretical issues of management of changes and its practical aspects. The practical work is based on describing the process of the formation and application new labour-procedures in NGO called Diecezni charita Plzeň. The process starts by identification of problems, determination of tools and aims. It goes on the initiation of the labor-procedures and finally concludes by the evaluation of the process.
