The thesis is focused to live sound mixing which takes place during the concerts of popular music (such as rock music, folk music etc.). It presents the equipment needed and it's usage. It also suggest the solutions of some problems connected with sound reinforcement. It shows the connection of the sound reinforcement system as it is used during live music productions. The thesis presents the art solutions of the live sound mixing. The thesis then discribes the work of sound engineer during the live production.

The thesis is especially focused on contemporary ways of the creative process and future development of collective authorship. The research is based on the author´s own choreographic experience.

Stereophonic Microphone Techniques and Their Modification

The thesis presents certain types of stereophony in accordance with recording and reproductive systems. Main principles of stereophonic microphone systems ? intensity and phase stereophony ? are presented in more detail and several related tasks ? such as microphone system placement and directional pattern choice ? discussed. The reason for adjusting the microphone system?s recording angle is defined and further explained. It features detailed description of basic stereophonic microphone setups including usage notes as well as practical guidelines for recording angle adjustment. The thesis focuses mainly on music production and refers mostly to recording in authentic rooms.

The paper PDF Document Format Features for Document Management and Distribution describes the core of the PDF format for support of the portable documents. If you've heard about PDF or even if you use it already but you don't have a clear understanding what PDF means this paper is for you. The paper provides explanation of frequently used terms used in the DTP, prepress processes and print industry. You'll find out what happened before PDF format was introduced, what the original expectations of the format were and who was the visionary and co-founder of Adobe corporation behind the idea. There are the two main technologies -- Postscript and XML described which are core to the PDF format. In the later part of the document you will find description of PDF versions including their advantages followed by a list of standards based on or using PDF format, not only the official ones but also standards widely accepted. The description of competing Microsoft XPS format is also covered in detail. Second part of the document describes a list of useful features to be considered by a document user as well as a document author. You'll learn how to manage a document, how to navigate through a document, what tools and features are available for document review and team collaboration and how to secure a PDF document. You'll also discover that PDF format can be used for creation of electronic forms and it can also contain other components such as layers, 3D objects, multimedia content and attachments. Assessment of the explanatory power of models

The object of this paper is the application of solvency models and bankruptcy prediction models on two companies and assessment whether the models are capable of correctly classifying both companies. Models are used on companies Hartmann-Rico a.s., which is in good financial-economic situation, and Pliva-Lachema a.s., which was threatened by bankruptcy and from 1st January 2010 is in liquidation. The first part is devoted to the issue at the theoretical level. In the second part is this issue applied on both companies and is evaluated with which accuracy the companies were rated by different models. The conclusion will be assessed the explanatory power of models.
