The year of defence: 2009 Abstract: The main goal of this thesis is to describe the real situation of free throws in handball. First of all we are going to focus on their frequency and way of implementation. It means that we will monitor the amount of directed free throws on the basis of matches watched on the Men's European Handball Championship in Norway. At the same time, our aim is to find out the way how each team passes these free throws and what the efficiency is. Last but not least goal is to compare the observed effects among more and less successful teams. Analysis of throwing a ball in American football by means of the surface electromyography

Title: Analysis of throwing a football in American football by means of the surface electromyography. Purposes: Describing and evaluating selected muscles integration structure during throwing a football movement and making a comparison of two kinds passes and valorize their usage. Methods: Surface electromyography (SEMG) measure in combination with usage of simple kinematics analysis. Results: Drop back pass is better for a faster or longer delivery football on target. Play-action pass is more suitable for non-stable situations in a game and does not need to cooperation of musclles to reach a target. Use of visual feedback in the training of selected individual gaming activities in handball

5 Abstract The aim of thesis is the obesrvation and resutling evaluation of different development of handball players. The research is aimed at practising selected gaming activities of an individual player, which are documented with a video camera. Players are divided into two groups. One group has the possibility of feedback with the help of video. The second group is performing the role of control anf the training is not affected by the video. The basic method that we use to obtain the necessary results is qaulitative analysis and evaluation of kinetic analysis based on the video obtained during my research. The results are recorded in tables and graphs according to numeric and a pair comparing scales, accompained by verbal response. Qulitative and Quantitative Research into the Performance of a Top Level Goalkeeper in Football

Kvalitativní a kvantitativní výzkum činnostních struktur brankáře fotbalu by měl určit obecně platné principy herní struktury výkonu brankáře, případně ukázat nové trendy a poskytnout srovnávací studii nejlepších brankářů Evropy- brankářů nejlepších evropských družstev na ME 2004 ve fotbale. Na týmovém herním výkonu se během utkání v kopané podílí jak hráči v poli, tak i brankář. I když jsou obě tyto role součástí celku, požadavky kladené na hráče na těchto postech během utkání se výrazně liší. Brankář totiž provádí odlišné individuální herní činnosti než hráči v poli a je při tom vystaven také daleko větší psychické zátěži, neboť jeho případná chyba se do vývoje utkání může promítnout daleko více, než chyba hráče v poli. A právě analýza individuálních herních výkonů brankářů na evropském šampionátu 2004 v Portugalsku, bude tvořit převážnou náplň mé diplomové práce. Mým cílem je na základě rozboru videozáznamů z utkání ME 2004 v Portugalsku, pomocí metod kvantitativního a kvalitativru'ho výzkumu vytvořit tzv. činnostní profil této hráčské funkce a zachytit kritická místa výkonu brankáře během utkání. Orthogonal bases and their application in signal processing

This work is concentrates on finding basic properties of some orthogonal polynomials like a definition, weight function, orthogonality interval, recurrence relations, number of zeros and diferential eguations which they were suited on. Subsequently were founded formulas for calculating coefficients of the generalized Fourir series and I concentrate on calculating optimal free parameters on this orthogonal polynomials. In the end of this work are calculated and displayed spectrums of some functions in the bases of individual polynomials and was calculated and displayed aproximation error.

Large volume carrier body for swap bodies for agri truck 6 x 6

This diploma thesis deals with proposal large volume carrier body for swap bodies with volume 60 m3. In beginning the thesis includes background research part. In the middle part describes the design of conception body. Work in the last part contains the strength calculations using the finite element method. Strength checks consider especially deformation and strain analysis in different load angle states. Part of the thesis is also design documentation. Work is created in co-operation with company ZDT Ltd.
