A web service related to a web syndication

This bachelor thesis is primarily focused on web services and their application. Secondarily, it is related to web syndication and an area of publishing/processing of information available on the internet, in general. It contains a description of web service principles in theory, an example of application and suggestions of potential future usage. This paper also covers a real-based case study which is based on the whole concept. All used source codes are available on the enclosed CD.

A Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) for a Manager's Work

The goal of this work is to determine what role play PDA for manager, how managers typically use the PDA and how it can facilitate the daily operations. The work includes comparison of the financial (purchase and additional investment) and technological performance with the currently available technologies from the field related equipment for personal use - a notebook, mobile phone, etc. and the possibilities how can PDA significantly facilitate the manager's daily communication with the whole world. The result of the practical part is a program for PDA emulation in the Windows operating system for desktop computers as well as an overview of the technical parameters, including the financial performance of the purchase of PDA in the context of other IT technologies.

web accessibility of Czech schools with economic-managerial orientation

The presented Bachelor thesis will deal with the rules of accessibility of web pages used by Czech schools with economic-managerial orientation, primarily according to the Czech standards following the WCAG. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines cover a wide range of recommendations for web creators concerning accessibility. These rules should make web pages accessible even to people handicapped in all possible ways (eye defects, hearing defects, locomotory problems etc.). My thesis will show how this accessibility varies in different countries (the U.S.A., European countries, the Czech Republic). The rules of how to make web pages will be gradually explained and also will be presented their significance for their practical utilization. In the practical part of my thesis, I will show these rules on several webs used by schools with economic-managerial orientation and subsequently I will try to make their ranking list. Last but not least, I will compare these results with the web of the Faculty of Management.

Software piracy and the methodology of it's investigation

The main objective of this work is to critically evaluate a sufficient portion of the circuit problem of software piracy and to propose solutions of sub-problems, to use the interpretation of all relevant laws and all other available resources and create a comprehensive picture of the case. The practical part should be primarily a manual for ordinary computer users, which should help them. At the same time I present a preview of the methods of the executive law enforcement authority - Police of the Czech Republic, which deals with the investigation of software piracy. Range of the methods used in my work is not wide, which is partly due to reluctance of companies to cooperate because it is a relatively sensitive information, but it fully covers the needs of work and make it possible to have a final vision of the subject.

Práce v širším kontextu řeší vhodnost elektronického prostředí pro realizování obchodních transakcí. Práce má aplikační charakter. V teoretické rovině zmiňuje postupy při sestavování podnikatelského plánu v aplikaci na sektor e-commerce. Výstupem práce je návrh podnikatelského plánu pro další rozvoj espedice.cz, včetně analýzy technického a technologického zajištění.

Metody strukturované analýzy a návrhu informačních systémů

Práce je zaměřena na seznámení s vývojem informačních systémů pomocí standardizovaných metodických postupů pro analýzu a návrh. V práci jsou dále představeny základní strukturované metodiky užívané pro vývoj informačních systémů ve světě a přiblížena situace v této oblasti panující v současné době v České republice. V závěru je provedeno srovnání metodik a postupů a ukázáno několik doporučení pro výběr toho nejvhodnějšího postupu.

Softwarové zabezpečení dat

Obsahem je nejprve stručné seznámení s pojmy následované popisem vývoje šifrování až do současnosti. Dále navazuje kryptografie v praxi představující programy pro klasické šifrování, steganografii a PGP (resp. GPG), jejich využití a funkčnost. V poslední části je stručný seznam pravidel pro vytváření hesel a jejich ochranu spolu s představením vhodných programů pro jejich tvorbu, editaci i případné odhalování.
