Control of storage and hydropower function of reservoir by using simulation model
Rajsiglová, Veronika ; Marton, Daniel (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
The work focuses on the creation of separate reservoir simulation model. The simulation model is created in Microsoft Excel, spreadsheet application with accessible functions whereby progression of arithmetic and logical algorithm simulating operation of reservoir storage and hydropower function is created.
Estimation of Stage Discharge Curves in Hydrometric Profile
Hillebrant, Michael ; Menšík, Pavel (referee) ; Marton, Daniel (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on the stage-discharge curves evaluation on the selected hydrometric stations and on the selected rivers in the Morava River basin, which the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute managing. The goal of this barcelor thesiss is using own calculation and specialized software to construct theoretical stage discharge curve on the basis of real measured Qh points of stage-discharge curve. The resulting theoretical curves then compared as well as create a dataset and compare the regression coefficients and regression equations of theoretical stage-discharge curves. These comparisons performed for the selected profiles in the upper, middle and lower part of river and make an overall assessment of the success of the fit. Profiles at upper part of the Svratka river was Borovnice on the Svratka river Svratka. Rozhrani on the Svitava river. Middle profiles were Brno – Poříčí on the Svratka and the Poříčí on the Křetínka River, which inflows into the Svitava river. Lower profiles were Bílovice Svitavou on the river Svitava river and Želešice on the Bobrava river, which is tributary catchment to the river Svratka. Data is divided into all sections in three modes. Summer season (May to October), winter (November-April). In the third period remained unfiltered data.
Control water outflow of selected reservoir for using dispatcher graph
Rumanová, Jana ; Marton, Daniel (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis is focused on the control of water runoff on the selected reservoir by dispatcher graph. Dispatcher graph is made in Microsoft Excel program. To create a dispatcher graph were used historical data of flow range. Functionality of dispatcher graph is verified at flow range. Achieved results are compared with the management of the planned runoff.
Control water outflow of selected reservoir for using optimization model
Sobek, Martin ; Marton, Daniel (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis is focused on the control of selected reservoir optimization model. The calculation is made by program SOMVS. The functionality of the optimization model is verified on the selected from a number of real average monthly flows. When the solution is applied the principle of adaptive control.
Simulation and optimization model of reservoir system in Svitava river basin
Šejnoha, Michal ; Marton, Daniel (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis is focused on the construction of a simulation and optimization model selected water management system. Both models are created with program SOMVS. The simulation model is based on the choice improved outflow from reservoir searching of boundaries Assurance classes. The simulation model simulates the flow of water through the system. Not finding the optimal solution using optimization methods. In the optimization model is used optimization method of differential evolution. The optimization model seeks maximized value of the objective function for water withdrawal from selected profile.
Estimation of Flow Uncertainty of Measurement in Hydrometric Profile
Jansa, Jakub ; Menšík, Pavel (referee) ; Marton, Daniel (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis is focused on the estimation of measurement of uncertainty in the selected hydrometric profile. Aim of this work will be theories about the problem, calculation of uncertainty of flows in water channels, statistical evaluation of the calculated values and the interpretation of the results in understandable form.
Flood control measures in the Nectava River basin
Boháč, Ondřej ; Menšík, Pavel (referee) ; Starý, Miloš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the flood control in the basin Nectavy. The aim is to assess the need enhance flood control in the basin. The work is divided into two parts, the first part deals with own description of the basin and the second part with data processing in programs ArcGIS and Hydrog. The description of the basin consists of a personal acquaintance with the basin and its surroundings, interview with residents of communities located along the river and description of geographic factors in the basin. After obtaining all necessary informations will be basin schemed in the program ArcGIS where it will be divided into smaller sub-basins which will require for further work. The output from the previous step is used for processing in the program Hydrog, to work in this program is also needed to calculate the replacement intensity of rains. Simulation in the program Hydrog are obtained critical period of rains and set N-year flows. In the end the obtained values of peak flows are compared with the actual flows and identifying critical points are assessed for possible flow and flood.
Analysis of selected effects on water management solution storage function of reservoir system
Čechová, Martina ; Daniel,, Marton (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the influence of the effect of water loss by evaporation in the water management solution storage function of reservoir system. To determine the size of the effect of water loss by evaporation is used simulation model. The simulation model is created with SOMVS. Determining the size of water losses from reservoirs is made simplified method. Loss of water by evaporation is solved for selected level hydrologic reliability of evaporation. To find the optimal size of the storage volume of the proposed reservoir are used all optimization methods included in the SOMVS, that is the grid method, Monte Carlo method, the modified gradient method and differential evolution.
Control of selected water management system for using optimization model
Michalová, Lucie ; Daniel,, Marton (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis is focused on the control of selected water system optimization model. The optimization model is created using SOMVS. The optimization model is created for a different number of time steps. The functionality of the optimization model is verified on the selected from a number of real average monthly flows. When the sotuliton is applied the principle of adaptive control.
Flood control measures in the Březnice Catchment
Zárubová, Kamila ; Menšík, Pavel (referee) ; Starý, Miloš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the flood control measures in the basin Březnice. This mainly concerns the assessment of flow rates. The work is divided into two parts: A description basin and data processing in programs ArcGIS and Hydrog. Description of the basin is the description of geographic factors, personal acquaintance with the river, and residents of surrounding villages bordering the stream. Subsequently the river will be process and scheme in program ArcGIS - the catchment area will be divided into partial hanging areas with which it will be worked next. The outputs obtained in this step are used for data processing in the Hydrog program. The intensity of rainfall and the N-year flows will be also calculated . In the end flow rates obtained from the program Hydrog will be compared with the real flow.
