Gene order conservation in bacterial genomes
Martinková, Tereza ; Sedlář, Karel (referee) ; Maděránková, Denisa (advisor)
Theoretical part of the thesis deals with basic concepts such as bacterial genome, comparative genomics and mainly synteny blocks. Here is explained what synteny is and what is its importance. In the theoretical part, the GenBank format is also mentioned, its content and usage. The practical part is focused on searching similarities in DNA sequences of reference bacteria with selected bacteria, their sorting by means of greedy algorithm and visualization of similarities using phylogenetic tree.
Sleep stage classification using polysomnographic records
Martinková, Tereza ; Ronzhina, Marina (referee) ; Králík, Martin (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the description of polysomnography, electroencephalography, electrooculography and electromyography. The work also discusses the issue of individual sleep phases. Followed by theorethical description of the parameters, which are later calculated from the signals. Based on these parameters are the individual phases classified.

Czech and French concept of swimming lessons in school
Martínková, Tereza ; Čechovská, Irena (advisor) ; Zenáhlík, Aleš (referee)
Title: Czech and French concept of swimming lessons in school. Objectives: The objective of the study is to provide basic information about the concepts and management of swimming training at elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, universities and clubs in France. At the same time, use available resources to outline the functioning of swimming lessons in the Czech Republic and compare both of these systems. Methods: The method of analysis and synthesis was used to process the collected information. The obtained information about the Czech and French concept of swimming lessons in schools and clubs was subsequently compared. Results: Based on a comparison of the concepts of both countries, we found that these systems differ significantly. Although under the auspices of the same body, in France the Ministry of Education has much greater competence and the result is a very well-organized concept of swimming instruction. In comparison with the Czech Republic, it then appears that no institution managing the function is properly performed and significant shortcomings are found in the organization of swimming lessons within compulsory school attendance. Keywords: Czech Republic, France, school education, swimming lessons

Martínková, Tereza ; Stich, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Zdobinský, Adam (referee)
Title: Technical maturity of a kickbox representative Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to determine the level of technical maturity of each adult kickbox representative, whether it is dedicated to semi-contact or full-contact disciplines. Another objective is to compare three views on the technical maturity of each representative, according to the representative himself and two state coaches. Then to compare representatives of semi-contact disciplines with representatives of full-contact disciplines in selected techniques of strikes and kicks. In conclusion, it will be ascertained how men and women see their technical maturity. Methods: In my thesis I used a method of analysis and the comparison method. I applied the analysis method in analyzing and describing the individual technical preparation of each representative. Information about the technical maturity was obtained on the basis of a questionnaire. I used the comparison method in the comparison of the representative himself and the opinions of the two state coaches. Then I used it in comparison of representatives of semi-contact disciplines and representatives of full-contact disciplines in techniques of strikes and kicks. Finally, by the same method, it will be found how men and women see their technical maturity. Results: - In...

Thesis Representation of fat people in chosen media content is audience research based on perception of thickness, related to characters from three selected czech television series. Fat Studies was primary science literarture source for thesis theory and practical research part is using both, quantitative and qualitative methodology. Quantitative method of data collection were self-serviced questionnaire shared throught internet. Qualitative method used half- structured personal interviews. The effect of training program on the selected parameters of the body composition of a competitive swimmer in 50 m breastroke
Martínková, Tereza ; Semerád, Miroslav (advisor) ; Chrzanowská, Babeta (referee)
Title: The effect of training program on the selected parameters of the body composition of a competitive swimmer in 50 m breastroke. Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to find out if swimming and weight training program influence selected physical parameters and performance in 50 m breastroke during winter season 2014. Methods: The data of this case study were obtained by measuring devices Tanita and bodystat BIA 2000. For measuring of muscular proportions was used tape measure. The data were processed by graphic and numeric analysis. Results: The thesis proved the possibility that body composition is influenced by training program. On the basis of these measurements we found out changes of selected physical parameters and performance. Keywords: competitive swimming, body composition, training program, 50 m breastroke
