Temperament and its consideration in the formation of training units in tennis for younger pupils

Title: Temperament and its consideration in the formation of training units in tennis for younger pupils. Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to determine temperament of pupils, to apply . model training unit and find out how much influence their athletic . ……………. performanece during training. . Methods: In this paper is use subjective method of observation, analysis methods of artistic expression, assessment method using a numerical rating scales and questionnaires investigation detecting subjective feelings from treined unit. Results: I found that the most frequently occurring is sanguine temperament, around fifty percent, then the least frequent is melancholic temperament. I also observed that temperament should really be an integral part in the creation of training units in tennis for younger pupils. Almost all tested (14/15) has seen positive reception during training units offs of their temperament and negative using opposing units. The name of work: Tactic analysis of elite tennis players at grass court The aim: The aim of this work was to find what is the conception of tennis tactic by elite players on grass surface by quantitative analysis of tactical ways of selected players during tournament Wimbledon 2014. Method: The analysis was based on indirect monitoring of video records from Wimbledon 2014. It was used a quantitative investigation using line method in folios. Analysis of the badminton match in women's singles

Title: Analysis of the badminton match in women's singles Objectives: The goal is to identify the most suitable choice a combinations of the first three shots, leading to the acquisition point between the server and the receiver among the best world woman players. And also to discover which was the usage of different types of serve, return and the third shot. Methods: Indirect analysis - videoanalysis Results: The results has shown that women prefer short forehand serve, most of the returns went into the front of the court, than most used shot was lob which tended into rear backhand court. The most played shot was lob into rear backhand court, which is interesting. Still woman players were more successful with the short shots at the net. Analysis of competitive matches of peewees in tennis

Title: Analysis of competitive matches of peewees in tennis Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to determine how the players evaluate themselves in competitive matches and how they manage stressful situations during their matches. Methods: The study included five players of the tennis club Sokol Petrovice. Their age was 10 - 12 years old. From inquiries I obtained needed information from their coach and the feedback from the players themselves after playing competitive matches. Thanks to the observation, especially at a tennis training camp, I wrote an analysis of each player and I also observed the progression of competitive matches. Results: In most cases, players between 10 and 12 years old are not able to evaluate themselves objectively. Generally, their strongest stroke is forehand. Managing stressful situations during the matches depends mostly on psychical toughness of the players. Nervousness, loss of concentration and fear very often appear at this age while managing stressful situations. Key words: tennis, self - evaluation, stressful situation
Analysis of tennis single on clay

Title: Analysis of tennis single on clay Objectives: The aim of the work was to analyze 10 elite players on clay and also to discover differences in observed aspects of their plays. Methods: The analysis was done by observing video recordings of chosen matches from the French Open 2016 tournament. It was a notational analysis. The results were recorded into record sheets that were prepared in advance. Firstly, descriptive analysis was used to analyze all of the matches. Thereafter, all of the matches were analyzed by descriptive analysis of graphs and measured values. Results: The results show different techniques and styles among male athletes on clay, given the service and its variations, the return and its variations, the length of plays, and other observed aspects; resulting in other tactical differences among the players. Title: COMEBACK AFTER INJURY ASSOCIATED WITH MOTIVATION ISSUES OF ELITE TENNIS PLAYERS The goal of thesis: The aim of this study was to describe comeback to competition after injury associated with motivation issues of elite tennis players. To meet the objective there were some scientific questions created. Scientific questions: In total there were three scientific questions created. For the concrete answers there was an anonymous questionnaire, which help us to get answers on our goal. These scientific questions follow: How did players feel, react and what they were interested in during convalescence? How did players doubt themselves during comeback period? How did players come up to psychological conditions during comeback? Methods: In the thesis, method of questioning was applied. There was an anonymous questionnaire composed of 18 questions created. The sample was 48 players older than 15 years, ranked up to 200th place of national ranking in the Czech Republic. The questionnaire was created largely based on a personal experience gained by the author and also based on professional expertise. Czechoslovak and Czech tennis players at the Grand Slam tournaments

Title: Czechoslovak and Czech tennis players at the Grand Slam tournaments Objectives: Diploma thesis is divided into two chapters. The aim of the first chapter is to make a comprehensive and valuable overview of the historical development of the greatest tennis tournaments called the Grand Slam from the very beginning until the present. The second part of this thesis focuses on Czechoslovak and Czech men's and women's tennis players who achieved the greatest success in these tournaments. Methods: I used historiographical method in my diploma thesis. Other methods used in this thesis are based on this method. In the first chapter, which is focused on the Grand Slam tournaments, I applied mostly progressive method which captures events from the past until the present. In the second chapter, which is aimed at Czechoslovak and Czech players, I used biographical and chronological methods. Results: Czechoslovak and Czech tennis players have been the most successful at Wimbledon, they have won there fourteen times. Wimbledon is followed by French Open with ten victories. Fewest victories have achieved our players at Australien Open and US Open. Among men, Ivan Lendl was the most successful in the men's single with eight victories at the Grand Slam tournaments. Analysis of the toss and impact in the tennis serve

Title: Analysis of the toss and impact in the tennis serve Objectives: The objective of our work is to analyse the phase of toss and hit in tennis serve and to compare the results between the players themselves. Methods: As the main method of data collection we used kinematic 3D analysis. Additional method was semi-structured interview with selected players for research. Results: We found that more stable performance at the phase of toss and hit achieves the player with the higher position on the tennis ranking. Furthermore we found that the ball in all serves was hit in front of the players body. The largest range of variation (most unstable) in both players was width M, that means hitting ball in a frontal plane in consideration of the vertical axis Y established by left foot tip designed by the server's. Title: Situations and problems of incipient tennis coaches Objectives: The objective of the bachelor thesis is to analyze situations and psychosocial problems of incipient tennis coaches. Methods: The study is conducted by qualitative form of research and by six personal case studies. The interviews with instructions were chosen as a method for data obtaining. All of them were recorded on audio recording device. Results: I created four themes - circumstances and reasons for the commencement of coaching activity, merits of coaching profession, the most common problems of incipient coaches and aims of incipient coaches. All of them above mentioned are crucial for the adaptation of beginning coaches during a transition period from player's activity.
