Tomkovo square is a place without clear identity. The indistinct character of the space is caused by traffic, which is the determining element and has shaped the face of the square since the past. Street lines had to be disrupted and the original buildings had to give ground to many traffic changes. This can be observed on the torsos of the buildings and large quantity of empty gables. Empty gables are typical element created near traffic constructions all through the city of Brno. This occurence can induce negation of the very purpose of natural growth of urban structures, in this case, however, due to rythmic reccurence of the gables, it becomes the staple element, which encloses the space and thus creates the square. The border is composed of two main motives – „solids and voids“. Solids are represented by matter - the empty gables. Voids are street spaces, passages or vistas that navigate somewhere, usually to a place with a public function, such as school, cinema or bus stop.The design of an additional function of student dormitories and a hostel is based on this thesis.

Residential Complex in Brno - Komín

The theme of the project is the creation the residential complex in city district Komín. The project shows the opinion on the matter of new urbanism in complicated context of the site with various types of urban structures. The project tries to relate current requirement of quality housing, context, and tries to belaud qualities of site.

Centre for Prevention, Masaryk Oncology Institute in Brno

The objective of this thesis is to design a new Center for Prevention and enlargement of Clinic of Radiation Oncology of Masaryk Memorial Oncology Institute in Brno. The building will consist of the center for prevention itself, the inpatient department for mobile patients, the proton therapy center, and a space for rent. The Center for Prevention will, on top of expert medical procedures, provide spaces for patient counseling, education of both professional and general public and administration for a commercial oncology prevention program.

I and "Sokol"

Main topic of Diploma thesis is to create a complex project for building a new sport-social complex. Based on a previously handled analysis and presumptive sport-cultural thesis of Sokol architecture, creates a main aim of the project – to proove if this concept of architectural thinking can be applied nowadays even with a contribution of actual economic and social conditions. Plan reacts on development of already built sport buildings, the absence of public area subsistent the downtown of Zlin and problems of traffic in touched area. Plan consists of a complex sport center and a hotel that is closing the north part of touched area with residential area before actual sport complex. Project also includes suggestions for transport infrastructure and public areas in thorough context.

Teaching-space paradigm

The bachelor thesis is seeking for an answer about the future of BUT university area between the streets Úvoz, Údolní and Tvrdého, and about the design of new faculty of architecture. The idea of connecting our school with Faculty of fine arts, which is already situated in the area, gives the opportunity to not only create school complex, but to aim for a new cultural spot of the city of Brno. The concept is built uppon the analysis of the working of faculty and its inner connections, that are transformed into the scheme of atrium.

The entrance space of the Palacky University campus in Olomouc is based on surrounding landscape and nature. It creates representative spaces for the university and also increases the potential of the future attractivity of the area between the landscape an the city in the context of the green recreational axis of Olomouc.
