Skiing of children with Down syndrome
Kunstová, Lenka ; Daďová, Klára (advisor) ; Levitová, Andrea (referee)
Title: Skiing for children with Down syndrome Aim of thesis: To verify if ski course exemplar prepared for children with Down syndrome, of age 6-12 yrs, is suitable. To compare motor abilities of children with Down syndrome with the abilities of able-bodied children, in skiing specifically. To call attention to important outlines of the work and coaching in children with Down syndrome. Method: The ski course exemplar was tested by qualitative observation of three pairs of children (always an able-bodied child and a child with Down syndrome of the same age). The qualitative observation was aimed at mastering ski skills during the course and following analyses. Results: The ski course exemplar was suitable. Children with Down syndrome are able to learn basic ski skills and in case of previous experience, they are able to improve them. The conditions, that go along with and support this process, are: an assistant- instructor (e.g. one of the parents), variability and frequent exchange of activities and compliance with principles of work with children with Down syndrome. Key words: Down syndrome, locomotion, skiing
Integration of School Children with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Lesinová, Soňa ; Daďová, Klára (advisor) ; Vařeková, Jitka (referee)
Title: Integration of school children with Duchenne muscular dystrophy Aim: To verify that the student with Duchenne muscular dystrophy is able to fully participate in activities on a regular elementary school and social environment that is willing to provide this disciple conditions for integration. Research methods: Method for individual interview monitored boys with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The boy is a student of ninth grade of primary school. Further probe was used in the form of the questionnaire survey. Were questioned 20 classmates and 13 teachers from the same elementary school. Results: The social environment is happy to provide conditions for integration of the student with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, but not quite ready. Pupil with Duchenne muscular dystrophy is able to fully participate in activities on a regular elementary school. Analysis of Imapct of Bike Marathon on the Glucose Level in Intersticial Fluid in Patient with Type 1 Diabetes
Mottlová, Klára ; Daďová, Klára (advisor) ; Malá, Michaela (referee)
Aim: The aim of this thesis was to describe the influence of continuous physical activity on glycemic control in patients with type 1 diabetes when cycling mountain bike marathon. Furthermore, based on acquired knowledge and zkonzultovaných experts outline preskribci for additional physical burden of a similar nature. Method: Continuous glucose in interstitial fluid was performed using invasive sensor CGMS (Continuous Glucose Monitoring System) from MiniMed. Continuous monitoring was held by thirty cyclists with type 1 diabetes before, during, and after the cycling marathon mountain bike Author King of Sumava. Monitoring total length was 76 hours 10 minutes. Keywords: Type 1 diabetes, the body burden sensor CGMS, glycemia, cycling MTB marathon Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Group Exercise for Women with Postmenopausal Osteoporosis.
Levitová, Petra ; Daďová, Klára (advisor) ; Oponent B, (referee)
I j ABSTRAKT Název: Skupinové cvičení pro ženy s postmenopauzální osteoporózou Title of thesis: Group exercise for women with postmenopausal osteoporosis Cíl práce: Cílem diplomové práce bylo ověřit, zda skupinové cvičení u žen s osteoporózou po menopauze ovlivní svalovou dysbalanci, rovnováhu a bolest zad. Probandky byly rozděleny do tří souborů čítajících 1O osob. Svalová dysbalance byla vyšetřena dle modifikace vyšetřování hybnosti dle Jandy a Kábelíkové-Vávrové, rovnováha dle vlastní modifikace a bolest dle české škály Křivohlavého.
The Effect of Group Exercise on the Pain Perception and Spinal Mobility in Individuals with Ankylosing Spondylitis.
Levitová, Andrea ; Daďová, Klára (advisor) ; Vařeková, Jitka (referee)
Title of thesis: The effect of group exercise on the perception of pain and spinal mobility of Individuals with ankylosing spondylitis Aims: To evaluate the impact of a targeted group exercise on pain perception, posture and mobility of the spine in patients with ankylosing spondylitis (AS). Method: The study selected 30 subjects with AS in I. - III. stage (mean age = 27.17 ± 4.57). This group was divided into experimental set (motion program participants (n = 15) and control group [n = 15]). The motion program was 30 minutes 2 times a week for 5 months. Pain was assessed using a visual analogue scale before each training unit and after it. Program before and after the following parameters were evaluated: static posture (the method by Klein and Thomas Mayer modified), the development of lumbar and thoracic spine stretch the chest and circuits. Results: The results showed that the group with targeted physical therapy in the form of group exercises significant reduction in pain intensity (condition improved by 32.2%), improved posture (p <0.001), increased mobility of the spine (the difference was statistically significant at Schober, Stiborova and Thomayer distance and reclining torso [p <0.05] and increased chest circumference [p <0.001]). For the control group occurred in most of the monitored...
