Modern turboprop engine for aircraft to 5700kg MTOW

This bachelor’s thesis contains a database of available turboprop engines with power up to 2000 kW for aircraft with take-off weight of up to 5700 kg. It briefly mentions basic information about turboprop engines. The main part contains an overwiev of chosen engines and their comparison in the form of tables and graphs. Furute predictions are briefly mentioned in the ending.
Trends in aviation jet engines development

The aim of the bachelor work is to summarize recent developments in aviation jet engines. This development is oriented to reduce fuel consumption and improve thermal and propulsive efficiency. Principles described in this work are based primarily on development programs ACARE, Vision 2020 and VITAL. Projects are under development and some are already at the stage of flight tests.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to explore and describe the effects and consequences of the Earth’s shape and its atmosphere on land and on-board radio equipment used in aviation. This thesis contains the description of these influences affecting the whole spectrum of electromagnetic waves used in aviation communication, navigation and air traffic control. It also explains specific forms of effects of the Earth’s shape and its atmosphere on individual devices, which are most commonly used in civil air navigation.
Aero Engines for Aircraft up to 2000 kg

This bachelor project was created like database of certified aircraft engines for aircraft with 450 - 2000 kg of weight. It is divide into four parts. Each part contains another conception of comparison. First part comprises of list of worldwide successful manufacturers and their products. Second part ranks engines by type of fuel transfer to combustion chamber and charge pressure. Third part compares engines with similar power in tables and in graphs. (Class 100, 200 and 300 horse power). Last part solves selection of most optimal engine in classes 100, 200 and 300 horse power.

This bachelor’s thesis deals with review of today most used aircraft power units. Briefly explains their purpose, working principle and most important influences on their function. Voluminous passage informs about main parts of aircraft power units and their functions. At the end of this thesis the directions of aircraft power units development are presented.

Evaluation of Ultralight Aircraft Production in the Czech Republic

The final bachelor’s thesis analyses the status of Czech producers of ultralight aircrafts to foreign markets and evaluates their production. It describes the history and emergence of ultralight aviation in the Czech Republic and the emergence of the Light Aircraft Association, which administers ultralight aircrafts. The work contains the definition of light aircrafts, both for the Czech Republic and the U.S. and Europe, also includes a catalogue of ultralight aircrafts from Czech producers. There are examples of the development of the largest Czech producers of ultralight aircrafts and also they are compared to their foreign competitors on the U.S. market of Light-sport Aircraft category LSA.
